He HAS BEEN confronted more than once, face to face, and many HAVE moved on because of his deeds and the cowardly leadership in churches that have allowed this wolf to continue to ravage the flock even after he and his band of thugs were exposed for what they really are.
His actions continue to be exposed, and you call it gossip. However, others out there clearly deserve a warning and that is what this is about. Use you good ‘ole evangelism analogy, if you were driving by a house that was on fire and saw the people just sitting in it unaware, would you not warn them of their impending doom? Trinity was warned, but unfortunately those in Byron and Starke did not have that luxury until it was too late.
WARNING churches, there are wolves in sheep's clothing. The Bible warns about it, but when it is brought to light in your church, you want to hide behind “not messing with God's anointed.” Well I submit to you, God's anointed would have taken heed long ago and not continued to destroy the Church of the Living God in the name of Jesus Christ.
The TRUTH marches on.

If this man is apostate, go after him (an obscure blog and comments don't count).
If this man is a mere mortal pastor and sinner, then shake the dust of your feet and move on.
What I've discovered happening here is not Christian.
Weak are people who think we should just leave divisive men such as these alone to continue a path of destruction in God's name. Sorry, but that dog won't hunt.
Just hear to sound the warning, that is all. Not looking for anyone's approval, but your opinion is welcome.

I agree 100%. I am a member of one of Chad's former churches and I feel your pain, but this blog is not the way to go. I believe Satan loves this blog as much he loves Chad's twisted ministry and the havoc that he has caused. The thing to do here is let it go. Chad's actions speak for themselves. If/when he begins to move to another church and you feel the need to warn them, do so directly, not in a forum such as this. This brings no glory to God.
I agree 100%. Not one thing said on this blog glorifies God. I understand your pain, but this is not the answer. It hasn't worked yet, and it won't work in the future.
If you truly trust in God, then you will trust that He is in control. If God wants Chad at another church, then He will move him to another church. Nothing you put on the internet will stop God's plan. If your motive is protecting other churches, then you must believe God is weak. He can protect His church.
It just might be God's will for Trinity that a pastor like Chad be the head of that church. Whether any of us like it or not is none of our business. God is the one in control. And he doesn't have to ask us if we approve.
Start spending your time praising the almighty God and stop trying to manipulate His plan. He is strong enough to move Chad when and where He wants!

I agree with the previous posts. I don't read anything but bitterness and hatred on this blog. Yes, He used a donkey. And Yes, He could use this blog if He chose. But why would He chose to use an anonymous blog where there is nothing but hatred, bitterness, and hurtful things being written.
There is a reason for Chad being at Trinity that goes far deeper than your understanding of the situation. The current state of Trinity is due to the disobedience of the membership. They chose not to follow their leader and instead selfishly cause a division in the church.
The Lord punishes disobedience because He loves us. So stop trying to be a hero, and let God protect His church. He said that He would build His church. If He can build it, He can protect it.

Yes it has. Just ask all the search committees that have looked at it and asked for references.

This site was set up in the name of church discipline, this is the third step for this unrepentant "pastor".
Why aren't you able to let God be the Judge. If he has done what you accuse him of doing, can't you take coomfort knowing that he will be held accountable one day. I know you're going to come back and say you want to stop him from doing it again. Let God handle it.
Why do you place yourself on the same level as God, thinking you need to bring Chad to justice?
Nothing written on this blog has anything to do with church discipline? You write some bogus info about Chad's education, and then all the angry church members air their dirty laundry. Go back and read those comments. Nothing was about his education.
Where is the scripture that talks about anonymous church discipline? Everything I read says you are to confront someone if they have offended you or are living in sin? If this blog is all about church discipline as you say, confront him!
I heard a wonderful message yesterday about the branch and the vine. Included in the message was research that 85% of the protestant churches in America are either at a plateau or on the decline. Trinity isn't alone, and the main reason for the decline are branches that bear no fruit. God uses His people to build the church. Where there is no fruit, there is no growth.
For this blog to be so unGodly, there sure are a lot of "christians" looking here and calling it out as unGodly. I guess your own little gossip groups are not busy enough.

He has been confronted more than once in private and public settings, with and without witnesses. He refuses to repent, therefore treat him as a publican and a sinner. So nothing is anonymous here, just think of all those that have been negatively impacted by a cancerous "ministry." That is the problem, you can't narrow it down, too many faces and lives to count.
I really appreciate all of your concern over my wayward ways, but I do not answer to you or anyone else here.

to me, it sounds like God has used this site to inform the suspecting Trinity members what they feared and whom have since left to join other churches. Chad caused the suspicions due to him insisting on members questions submitted prior to his view of a call weekend and requesting a paper form voting. You have read about those who have moved on and now living for God, praising Him freely and once again glorifying Him. They have even stated recently that now they have left, they will not revisit this site nor Trinity’s which explains a lot of what the content here has been. Those people have shaken the dusk off and moved on. Now what is left is Chadaholics writing and all that is being blogged here lately is from you saying this site is “unGodly.” Come on folks, what’s is unGodly is blaming the reason for the problems at Trinity on the disobedient members … really?? You Chad follower said they chose to not follow the leader but how can you when he leads the way he does, with fear and bullying. Jesus lead with love and never bullied anyone. Just like john said, where is the fruit? Basically, the ones who wanted to know more have through this blog. They have also moved on as I’m not reading these bitterness and hatred post that you are referring to… maybe because those have moved on. Done
I am one of those who left Trinity after making every effort to remain and support Chad.
After much prayer, soul-searching and coming to the realization that when a church becomes so political and troubled that the focus becomes man and not Jesus Christ, it is time to flee and go serve Him where the focus is on Him.
Thank the Lord, I am now in a church where Christ is King! The relief is not just spiritual, it's also physical. The stress has lifted and the joy has returned, praise the Lord!
What Trinity has become is not what church is supposed to be. Chad has carried that repressive atmosphere with him during his entire ministry...result: three destroyed churches.
Facing facts....Chad has a personality that was inherited and has been groomed for his entire life. He will not change because he does not think he needs to change and he likes himself just the way he is. The arrogance will remain until he becomes humble before God and allows Him to work that out. Pastors must have love for others in their hearts, put Christ first and foremost and forget self. That's missing here.
Bottomline is....the people who are still at Trinity WANT TO BE THERE!
This blog and many others before it have clearly laid out the problems that developed in his churches and the methods that Chad has used to deal with them.
If any PSC ever wants to do their duty and investigate him fully, they have the tools to begin. Lots of posts have been mean-spirited, but there have been many that are well-written, thoughtful, fair and obviously done from concern, not malice.
I took a few minutes to do some statistics. In this blog alone, not counting the many thousands of posts in other blogs pertaining to Chad, there have been 44 posts by the blog owner since 2008, with 2,126 comments. The peak year for comments was 2010 with 911 comments. That was the year when the major upheaval happened and most of the members left Trinity.
The evidence is here...or at least the trigger for a PSC to search further before they fall into the same painful trap that the churches at Byron, Starke and Southaven fell into.
As for me....I will continue to pray for Trinity, for the people who are still there (and there are some precious people who love their church and who are waiting for God's solution to their problems), and for Chad himself. He has so much potential, if only he would live what he preaches to others and allow God replace his arrogance with a loving heart.
Another poster said they were having to leave all this alone for the sake of their Christian walk, and I agree...I must as well.
Our God has every solution and in His time, we will all see how He works and glorifies Himself! Amen.
The facts can not be ignored. There have been about 300 members move their membership since January. Two of the PSC members who were fooled by Chad have left the church. One other left and was heard at a party bashing Chad and Michele and for whatever reason chose to return. The parking lot looks so empty on Sunday mornings. I remember not to long ago when we had parking all up and down the streets because the lots were full. There are families who are fighting within over leaving. Husbands and wives divided and some even attending different churches. This is wrong. God wants families to be together. Husbands should protect their families and not just attend and allow their families to stay at home. This is happening at Trinity. It is one thing to break up friendships but when a pastor wants to break up families that is wrong in every aspect. I am not lying about this and it is going on NOW! A real pastor would say as the "Spiritual Leader" of your family you have to take care of them even if that means leaving Trinity. All Chad can see is more tithes leaving. Next that man will be attacked for his family splitting up.

Most of us have left Trinity. Life is to short and we are very grateful that God heard our prayers and brought back a real Godly Pastor who is helping us repair out hearts and bring back JOY to our spirit. Sometimes God calms the storms and sometimes he calms me. This time he calmed me and moved me and I am so happy that I had not allowed my heart to harden over what has happened and is still happening to Trinity. I heard His voice and obeyed Him! Good Luck Trinity. I pray God does not take His hands off you totally.
Still bad at Trinity. Staff members and deacons are doing the yard work. Not Chad but Greg and Jimmy H have been seen on mowers. Pay cuts but still Chad is making very good money and people are still leaving more and more every week. Don't know how much longer it will continue just waiting til God tells me to leave.
People are still leaving. We are waiting on our Sunday School teachers to leave and I hope that won't be long so I can leave to.
Well, well, sounds like these guys learned their cover up skills from the eversons.

HUNGRY TO BE HOLY

There was a young Scottish pastor, Robert Murray McCheyne who died at 29. Before his passing he brought a great awakening to his church. This week I read a quote from this man of God, he said, “The greatest need of my people is my own holiness.”
We have a plethora of eloquent preachers, an over abundance of charismatic personalities, more than sufficient number of high profile leaders. What we are in want of are holy men of God. People need to see more than ministry skill from their leaders; they need to see a godly heart.
A pastor cannot take his congregation into the depths of Christ any further than he has gone first himself.
What’s the outcome of a church that has astonishing programs, brilliant leadership, edge of the seat presentations and state of the art building but has no vision at its core to be a holy people? What good can come from engaging speakers conducting entertaining events if that leader is not a man desiring to bow in brokenness and humbly recognize how estranged he and his congregation are from a holy and awesome God?
Our churches are often full of frivolity and we know it but it is not changed because leaders tolerate it rather than grieve over it. The situation in the church is simply a reflection of the reality that is within the pastor’s heart. The light pouring from a single broken vessel far outshines the productions of a thousand religious entertainers. Paul said you have many tutors but few fathers. Today he might have said you have many church experts but few holy men.
R.M. McCheyne’s word is more necessary today than when he first spoke this to a compromised, liberal, nominalist church in Scotland. But not just his words but his example, the power of his pulpit and the effect of his ministry empowered his words. His word contained power behind a life that contained purity.
Are you hungry to be a holy man or woman of God? There is only one way to see this happen. It is to lay down both human efforts to strive at your own righteousness and be fully cloaked with the garments of Christ and to simply receive the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
This holiness is far more than self-willed negating of sin; it is an absolute surrender to Christ who releases a great and glorious passion for holiness. I don’t want to spend my life trying to wrestle with my old man. I want to see Christ form in me the fullness of the new man he has created.
I am still broken over what has happened at Trinity. I am one of the people who have moved on but I am still so concerned over the health of Trinity. I have talked to several young couples who I thought were still there only to hear the words "Oh No we have left. Just could not stomach Chad any more." That was a quote from a person who left last May. It is sad. There is still very little money and people leaving but still Chad sits on the throne of a once growing church that is now one of the smallest on DeSoto Co. Yes they still have a huge building but a very lonely one for most of the people are gone. I pray he leaves soon and before he sells the church building something that has been discussed lately.
I agree that many have left that we would never have expected including those on vital committees...ones that know what is REALLY happening behind the scenes at Trinity.
When those go, you know that there is no point in hanging on while it is being led by someone who cares more about stuffing his pockets than leaving and allowing a church to survive.
If those remaining are blind to him, it's only because they want to be. They've seen his destruction with their own eyes, but apparently love being important in Chad's "in-crowd" so much until they are willing to be part of the destruction.
The sad thing is that they are squandering the love, work, devotion and sacrifice of generations of faithful members while they are feeding their egos.
Pride goes before the fall!
After writing the above post, I realized I had shortened the last line too much.
The actual quote is from Proverbs 16:18 "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall." NIV
Sadly, the scripture is even more true.
The last post is so true. Even the members from the search committee who brought him here are leaving. I spoke to a friend who never liked Chad but seems to be sold out now. When I asked her she said it was because now that all the other people have left now she feels important. "I am who they rely on now." "I can sing in the praise team now that all the other singers have left". That was her response. She says she still does not like Chad but loves feeling important. That is WRONG! You are at a church for SELF not CHRIST. That does not seem to bother her but why would it, Chad is the same way. He is at Trinity for the money and importance not for CHRIST. Glad I left and Trinity will be falling soon. Poor people who thought because they agreed with Chad they were "Saved and Safe" from the fall. Chad is looking for a new job and will leave all high and dry and penniless.
A couple that have been on many committees for years and she was on the personnel and finance committees have left. I would have never thought they would have. I hope all those left will enjoy Chad and the empty church.
Well Mr. Matt Chairman of the PSC Committee that brought Chad here has just joined LHBC. So happy he is now with people who will love and welcome his wisdom and dedication. Trinity lost a wonderful family when he left. We are very happy and blessed to have him.
Well looks like it has come full circle.
Guess Chad will soon have his CULT situated just like he planned.
If only they would have listened when several were screaming STOP when the PSC committee and others were considering this TARE.
Common denominator? EVERSON way or hit the door...
