You were warned what these men were capable of. The following is an excerpt from a letter authored by Doug P and was posted earlier this year in more than one place on the Internet:

“I did what I did (called the Chairman of the Deacons and report the incidents of PORN viewings) to protect your child or children and others at Madison Street and to clear up the matter legally and morally for liability protection for me AND PRAYS MILL BAPTIST CHURCH members so no one at Madison Street Baptist could say in the future…. I/we withheld serious information, incidents, charges and save possible consequences to your young children at Madison Street Baptist Church.”

MSBC, do you remember when Steve P was ‘disciplined’. chad was able to tell you what his sin was, but he wouldn’t tell you what jeff carter had done, but that he was being disciplined as well. Then jeff carter was reconciled after repenting to the almighty chad. Was he reconciled so that he could continue to prey upon the innocent? This so called ‘pastor’, chad had stated that he had a staff member previously that was accused of something inappropriate with a child. Did that staff member happen to be jeff carter?

STARKE, FL -- A man from Lake Butler is facing lewd and lascivious conduct charges.
Authorities arrested 50-year-old Jeffrey Lamar Carter.

A 15-year-old girl told Starke police Carter began a "counseling relationship" with her in January. She told detectives she and Carter communicated in person and through Facebook.

The teen said Carter showed her pornographic pictures on his cell phone, and he asked her to take naked pictures of herself. She also told police Carter described dreams of having sex with her.

Carter was booked into jail and released on a $20,000 bond.

He faces charges of Lewd and Lascivious Conduct on a Person under 16."

The guessing game with mike and chad everson

You know, the biggest issue here is the fact that going way back, mike and chad have felt the need to publically call out other people’s sins, but they want to hide their own and even deny them when their failures are brought to light. What ever happened to leading by example?

They both have ruined some good men that God had given a great vision to. Jarrod really had God’s hand on him at one time, but I feel that he has let daddy and “little” brother steal that from him by not allowing him to get right with God and those he has hurt. He is so much more of a preacher and pastor than the other two will ever hope to be.

It’s also just funny that all Ric and Charles had to do was stand for TRUTH instead of following the twisted ways of huge egos. From what I hear, at one time, MSBC would have tossed chad out on his head if he had stood against Charles. Ric and Charles have also hurt a lot of people in their churches and communities that really loved them and still do, but people just can’t trust their leadership anymore.

As long as mike and chad continue to point the finger at others and cover up their own issues, I will be here simply reporting the facts and making sure the world is aware that wolves in sheep’s clothing do exist. The eversons’ double standards have finally caught up with them. If they will both publically apologize to those they have publically humiliated for no reason, “humble themselves and pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, then He will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their” lives.

BTW…Just a question, but I wonder what the legal statute of limitations is on covering up theft from a church. I’m not sure how somebody can sleep at night knowing they allowed something like that.

Seems you've left a long trail of hurt families and lives all throughout the Southeast, both of you.

Chad Everson…job hunting

It has come to my attention that chad has put himself on the market. Allegedly, his resume has been distributed to a number of potential new places for him to destroy.

MSBC, you should be on guard, as it is very possible, he will leave you just as he did Day Spring.

Potential new churches seeking a pastor should always scrutinize the candidates. Talk to the churches that the person has served in before. Remember if the wheat and chaff can sit in the pews together, the wheat and chaff can also stand behind the same pulpits.

Stay tuned, as there is more on the horizon about this man, I am just waiting on the legal confirmation as the goal is always to share TRUTH only.

Chad Everson…what a poor attempt

A true “faithful” follower of the Lord Jesus Christ was called home on Saturday, June 8. Bro J was a true man of God. I am very pleased that Bro. Jeff C. and Bro. Scott C. were able to make his funeral a wonderful service. And Mrs. Sue, God bless you honey!

I am appalled that chad everson was even a part of the service. He should have just read the obit and sat his tail down. It was apparent that he had no real insight into what kind of man that Bro. J had been in his life.

chad actually stated that Bro. J complained to him about his ailments. Which of the two times you visited with Bro. J that he supposedly complained to you? And I ask you the same thing that Bro. J asked you the last time you were in his house, “Are you right with the Lord?”

Well, Bro. Scott sat him straight once again. Bro. J always responded with “I’m blessed” no matter what state he was in when you asked him how he was.

Bro. J was a charter member of Madison Street Baptist Church, and this so called pastor, chad, put his body in the “family life center” a.k.a. the basketball gym, to lie in state for viewing. A charter member of the church that you are the “pastor” of deserves cancelling the Wednesday night services for his viewing, especially for Bro. J. That was chad’s call, if it wasn’t then he is not really the senior pastor then is he?

You are only at MSBC, because of this man’s obedience to follow a vision from God, something, you chad, have apparently never experienced. The lack of respect you and your church showed for this man, his wife, and his family is a slap in the face of Bro. J, this community, and the Lord Jesus Himself. We shouldn’t be surprised, the everson mode of operations is usually low and shallow.

Just so you know, there were any number of churches in this area for fifty miles that would have taken care of this man and his precious family. My heart truly goes out to Mrs. C, as she has lost her true best friend, her soul mate. 75 years folks, that’s rare, as Bro. J said, “and they still had googly eyes for each other.”

Have you done your homework on his old church? Day Spring changed its name after he left,(click here - click on View Filed Documents at the top. Why would a church change its name?

Yes, he did call a person about a major theft at his last church asking for advice on what to do. Why did he not report something like this? He said because he didn't want it to get out in the community. I'm pretty sure it got out, and look at the state this church is still in four years after his departure.

Now he is begging the poor folks at MSBC to give more to make up for the people who left. Allegedly no children's activities for the summer, supposedly you have to pay for every class you take. When will it end? MSBC, you had the chance to see the light many months ago, but he deceived you then and continues to do so now.

I truly believe that there are still a few there that do what they do with the right motive; but it is clear as you interact with others that are still there, that they are either blinded by these men claiming to be pastors or they truly need to be introduced to Jesus. When you are rude to those who have left when you see them in the community, your true colors are evident, and the blackness of your heart shows through.

Many of us are praying for you MSBC and even for those in leadership as it is clear they need the Lord as bad as anyone else does, including me. Everyone messes up occasionally, but you should learn from it and not deceive people in order to keep up appearances.

Another One

David Barker was dismissed as Prays Mill Baptist Church Music Minister in August 2006 due to his viewing of hard core pornography for several years on the computer system. This was reported by the church secretary and was verified that in fact, it had been going on a while. A forensic search on the notebook hard drive he solely used was done and found there to be deep rooted porn on his notebook. It was an issue that broke many hearts and many at Prays Mill were very angry at David for forcing the church to go through another Jarrod Everson- like incident at this church. After the findings were presented to Mike Everson, a meeting was later schedules and it was asked a meeting deacons C.J. Ellis, Robert Reynolds and Stacy Wiggins to discuss the incident be held. Discussions included several issues concerning David and his health, the upcoming revival, the state of the church, etc., Many were astounded at what was heard the deacons state to several men concerning the Porn viewings. It was presented that the pastor, Mike Everson wanted to “keep this quiet” and wanted to allow David to continue in his music position during the revival. Also, It was told that after the revival they would allow David to resign due to “health” reasons. They gave a copy of his “resignation letter” to some for reading. Many exploded with horror at what the leadership direction was going to be concerning David’s sin. ! Many within the church could not believe what was being heard - that elected deacons were going to go along with “lying from the pulpit” to Prays Mill Baptist Church. They were attempting to cover up this incident like several others, and lie to the church. People with knowledge within the membership got very angry and told C.J., “how dare you lie to my church!” He got very upset that these men were angry and that anyone questioned leadership. He stated that the church had elected them to “make these kinds of decisions”. He was told him that they were elected to represent the church, not self- interest. He was then told if the deacons allowed this to happen and they were going to sweep this under a rug, it would go to the congregation and the truth would be told personally to this church. It was even stated to them that if they went through with their plans, members would not be a part of Pray’s Mill any longer and they would just leave without fanfare. They then went into Mike’s office and discussed the matter and Mike Everson still wanted to keep it quiet from the church, but were considering other options including sending the notebook computer to the sheriff’s office for possible criminal prosecution. They asked the members to “keep the situation quiet” and away from other members until the investigation was completed and Mike was told them that if anyone asked, the truth would not be hidden and the truth would be told about what had just been talked about. Members at PMBC were shocked! It was later determined and revealed by Mike Everson to the membership, David Barker had been and was fired for “not repenting” for the viewing of the pornography along with other issues associated with his termination. David had used the computer system at the church while employed as minister and while a fully paid staff member at Pray’s Mill Baptist Church. He said he was sorry, but - as with all who get caught in some type of sin, it was felt by all he was most sorry for “getting caught”, not for the viewing the PORN.

The Sr. Pastor at Madison Street Baptist Church Chad Everson brother Jarrod Everson was caught at his dad's former church in Douglasville Ga. viewing Pornography by the secretary and computer IT guy on his Dad's (Mike Everson) computer!( Jarrod logged into the network on his Dad's PC while he was away from his office ) Now Jarrod said he was “God Called” and moved to his brothers church, and his brother failed to inform the church when he was hired that his brother " the new Education / Children's minister" had been involved in Porn at another ( his Dad’s) church. The guy from the church that confirmed/verified Jarrod's viewings then called the Chairman of the Deacons (Mark) and ask if he or anyone knew anything about Jarrod’s PORN issue. Turns out the SR Pastor Chad Everson had not exposed this to anyone at the church ( no Deacons, Personnel Committees, no Members, family? etc.,) and so the covered up story began to explode in June 2007. In short the issue was denied by leadership, deacons, staff etc., so there was a detailed description of how it happened exposing the situation as it happened at both church's. But there have been and still are discussions/issues at this church by leadership, staff, and deacons of this church and so the beat goes on...

Why do ministers feel they have to cover up issues within the church?

There are issues ministers bring upon themselves and when confronted with these issues, they deny. Why do ministers feel they have to cover up issues within the church?

Examples:
1.Viewing Pornography on Computers
2.Ministers misusing money from hard working members
3. Gossiping and slandering others from the pulpit
4. Hiding and or hiring other ministers sins from other church's - ministries within their denominations
5. Dismissing members from a church without merit, biblical or by law followings
6. Keeping "secrets" from a church membership that should be made public
7. Using God's tithes / offerings ( being a bad steward) for "non ministerial or personal gains"

There are many other issues to list so.........Let the debates begin.
