chad a everson on being Biblical

Since this blog is once again being attacked for not being Biblical, let's do this the right way.

The sinner still refuses to repent and turn from his wicked ways.

chad has been rebuked privately and publicly and members of the body are to withhold intimate fellowship through the process and procedure of group disapproval and social ostracism. Clearly, the offender knows that his action has dishonored the Lord and has caused a rupture in the harmony of the body. The goal has always been restoration.

2 Thess. 3:6, 14-15
6) But we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who lives an undisciplined life and not according to the tradition they received from us.
14) But if anyone does not obey our message through this letter, take note of him and do not associate closely with him, so that he may be ashamed.
15) Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Unfortunately, here we are at the final stage.

“If there is still no response in repentance and obedience, the church is to apply the procedures of excommunication as directed in Matthew 18:17 (If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. If he refuses to listen to the church, treat him like a Gentile or a tax collector.)”

Fellow Brothers & Sisters, my prayer is that you will reach out to this man and his family with the Gospel.

I know that motives, intentions, and attitudes are difficult to determine when communicating through a forum such as this, but I sincerely pose the following question. Where does this blog or the comments assocaiated with it fall in the scripture quoted in today's post concerning church discipline? How does the purpose of this blog serve in the measures described in Scripture such as going to someone privately, taking them before the church, or withdrawing fellowship? I don't interpret anything in scripture that says to handle this in a public manner. I understand there are people who are hurting and feel a great deal of anger, and whether you like what I am saying or not I am praying for you. All I am suggesting is that we should not allow selfish desires to drive our actions. Are people truly upset becaue of an offense that has been committed against us or are we defending the holy name of our God? If it is the latter, fine but let's handle it the way our God instructs us in Scripture BUT don't let this situation consume us that takes away from the work of the Lord Jesus through us in this world. I realize my opinion is not welcome here and I won't continue to post but I would encourage everyone to at least think about what I have said.
Peace to you all!

Your comments are very welcome or would not even get posted.

“Where does this blog or the comments assocaiated with it fall in the scripture quoted in today's post concerning church discipline?”

It is actually being used as it was meant in this case, for restoration, and not with the same intent that it was when it was used to conduct “church discipline” on people that did not deserve to be treated as they have by this fraud of a “pastor.” Do you know how many visitors may have been sitting in services where chad has conducted his version of church discipline? Do you know how many lies have been spread from him and his followers concerning those that have disagreed with him? All this, he does in the name of God which is blasphemous to say the least. When the sinner will not leave the church and continues to sin, where do you go then? Trinity was warned to discontinue fellowship with a known sinner and refused; therefore, it has been taken before the global church.

"Are people truly upset because of an offense that has been committed against us or are we defending the holy name of our God?"

We are defending a Holy God. Why are people like you so offended when a false teacher and wolves in sheep's clothing are called out? The Bible is clear that they exist and are only interested in destroying the people of God. This site was created to protect the church from men such as these. They stand behind pulpits thinking they are protected from being held accountable, well NO MORE. When they stop attacking God’s people, then they will no longer be a threat to the very fabric of Christianity. Until then, the TRUTH marches on.

No one is being consumed by any of this, simply doing what they were called to do, but I do sincerely thank you for your concern.

In your prayers, also remember those that have no other voice, and remember those that chad and his followers have personally attacked and tried to destroy. Pray for his salvation as well, as the only thing that will ever change a man like this, is Christ Jesus, Himself.

If he wasn't such the coward he would post his name as I do.

Do I really need to go into my thoughts on what the Everson's and their C U L T followers (as Dr Who recently posted)

All you have to do is read what they done to me about 3 years ago to see why these men and their disciples deserve to continue and be exposed!

As of this date, I and others still have not received an apology for all the lies and deceitful actions against me and many others including the Pirkle Family and Dupree family.

The hate from these men and their disciples continue through the actions of former church members and family.

You have NO idea what it is like to still recall being voted out of a church W I T H O U T any notifications whatsoever!

Morris, CJ, Mike, Chad, Jarrod, Prays Mill Church and all their disciples will continue to be exposed until repentance and apologies have been provided

Until then, Yes the Truth is Marching ON....and will continue!

The Internet, The Great Equalizer!

and to you at Trinity, I am truly sorry for you having to put up with these W O L V E S but Me and other here in GA and Florida warned you....

I told you he was MAN called and NOT God called...and GOD is now and will continue to deal with his and his family (especially Mike Everson's) flagrant deception as ministers!

Now read what I wrote on my blog www.dougpittman.com/a b c which I signed my name to before I changed it to ministersexposed.com

You can read some real situations that I had to deal with and see what is ahead of you!

Need I say more...

God Bless You all.....

If this should not be in a public forum then why is Chad looking so hard to find someone to put in front of the church? Ummmmm. I hope Chad does not find out you read this or you are in trouble or were you not feeling things are right either that is what you looked. Well things are not right at all.

I am praying for peace and healing for you brother Doug. It is obvious from your posts that you have been hurt and are angry. May God move in you and give you the courage to forgive. I encourage you to read Matthew 5 tonight and pray over what Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount. While posting your name on a blog may indicate someone is a man of the world, following the things Jesus taught in this passage makes someone a man of God. Peace brother.

I know there is Joy in knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. There is no joy in Chad's sermons. People who visit and hear messages on salvation and the anger inside Chad's voice would never want it. Right now on his blog on the churches web site has him explaining why we should not show honor to veterans, mothers, fathers, the death, burial, or resurrection of Jesus or even His birth. No we should mention them or maybe sing a song but the message should always be the same screams and yelling we always get. Chad maybe you should check your salvation if you have no JOY. There is peace in Christ and that might explain all the war we have been going through for a year and a half.

I, and others, will begin to forgive when these men apologize for the devilish acts " P R O V O K E D " upon our families by them and their C U L T followers and DEMON DISCIPLED DEACONS.

It was wrong! Biblical or not, it was wrong.

I have gone to each one of these men only to be told that they have nothing to say to me or they say they will not discuss.

Until these men face their sin of what they did, especially all the lies told from the pulpit, I believe these men and their ministries and christian will NEVER be the same.

I know mine will not!

Until you have faced what I have faced, especially the gossip, family ridicule, and ignored parts, you have no right to say what I/we should do -

All I did was take a STAND FOR CHRIST CHURCH and EXPOSE COVER UPS, lies, and deception in my CHURCH by men who needed exposing.

Guess it will never end because these men and churches can NEVER say or will NEVER say.......

I am Sorry, we were wrong!

Until then, I will repost what I said on my website and what still shows;

http://ww.dougpittman.com/
"As of December 31st, 2007, I have chosen to move on and allow GOD to work"

LUKE 9:5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

Here is my definition of ministry:
Ministry is the use of a church or person's gifts and talents, time and
energy, in the service of and to others involving the exercise of roles
designated by the Church to fulfill its mission in different works of
service, such as in worship, teaching, leadership, sacrifices, welfare, and stewardship.

In simpler terms: A ministry is a way of serving and caring for others in Christ's name.

Brother Doug,

Please think about the statement you made in your post:

"It was wrong! Biblical or not, it was wrong."

With all due respect, that statement speaks volumes. It is so easy to make situations about us and that leads to sin that takes us out of fellowship with our Lord. Biblical forgiveness is not something that occurs only after an apology.

Consider the following verses of what our great and awesome God said about forgiveness.

Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Matthew 18:21-22
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

Biblical forgiveness is unconditional. As long as we are unwilling to forgive someone then there is sin in our life that stands between our fellowship with God and as long as that is the case we will never have peace.

I understand you were hurt and humiliated and no I have never been through a situation such as that but I have learned that things in this life are always very relative. For example, consider your situation and compare it to those brothers and sisters in Christ who have been beaten, imprisoned, and killed because of their allegance to Christ. Consider those who worship under persectuion today or those who are sitting in jail right now because of their love for Jesus. What I have found is when I make situations about me and fail to look to Scripture as my guide, I find myself emgulfed in pride and selfishness that keeps me out of true worship and fellowship. You sign your posts as Following Christ, not man. That is certainly something that we all should strive to accomplish in this life, BUT we always have to make sure that we include "myself" when we say man. The biggest threat in our churches today is not necessarily man-worship but is self-worship and that happens whenever we put our own preferences and opinions over what scripture says. Anyway, this is not inteded to attack you in anyway, but to offer sincere encouragment from one brother in Christ to another. LOL, I know I stated before I would stop posting but I will truly do so now because I don't want this to appear to be an attack back and forth. I will however continue to pray for you and ALL those involved in this situation.

I am sick of hearing that the deacons hands are tied. They are NOT! For years I have now heard that the church must be run like a ministry but also like a business. Well our CEO has not shown his ability to show a profit in members or even salivations. The money is critical. He must be fired and we need to vote on the way our pastor search committee brings men in. I wish I had had his name before the week he came. I would have checked him out better than they did. We had several businessmen on the PSC they would have NEVER brought anyone into their companies or spouses companies with what Chad claims they knew about him. FIRE HIM NOW!!And while you are at it send away his friends.

Doug Pittman said...

To J C F and others;

I say in my comment, Biblical or not...

That is meant as a reference to the specific situation of forgiveness.

Now what I mean is, NOT ONE OF THESE MEN HAVE ASKED FOR FORGIVENESS, NON OF THESE MEN HAVE HAD TO OR HAVE REQUESTED THE CHURCH TO FORGIVE THEM, NOR HAVE ANY REQUEST FOR REPENTANCE BEEN ESTABLISHED...Now that is BIBLICAL!

Until these men ask for and request forgiveness and stop the hate speeches from pulpits, which I get copies of regularly, I will never move on and forgive.

They have to ask for forgiveness, come forth with an apology, and then it will be time for ME to heal.

But as we all know, those within the Baptist Mafia will NEVER stoop this low and apologize....NEVER!

They do not have it in them...remember I was sitting at home tending my own business with this happened without any notification whatsoever!

So until we get an apology and they repent for this "unpardonable sin" nothing will change and the TRUTH will continue to March on!

Anyone is free to contact me at my email address I leaves when I post if they want to debate or express a private opinion to me, including anyone within the Baptist Mafia...

but they won't...

A Real Peace Maker said...

Through my many years on this earth I have had occasions to have people I have had problems with and some that had problems with me. I have found that most of the time if I say I'm sorry things calm down. Even if it is not my fault just to make things right I will say it. I am not a pastor and I would expect that a "Man of God" would. Through the years we have had 2 pastors at Trinity (while I have been here) There were times that Bro. Jim and Bro. David would do what they could to make "PEACE" Bro. Chad does not. He should have made peace with all these people before he left them. He could have stopped all this years ago. A MAN would have. All of these sites would have never been started or continued. Bro. Chad you keep telling us we need to be "PEACE MAKERS" well start leading by example. Tell these people that you are sorry for whatever you did to them and mean it. Don't tell us to be peace makers when you yourself are causing so much WAR. When you learn to say "I'm Sorry" you will learn true peace. In this BIG world we have to think of others as well. Remember the golden rule. Treat OTHERS the SAME way YOU WANT US to TREAT YOU. Lead us by example. Be the Big man that the other LEADERS of Trinity have been. Right now you are being very small.

To: A REAL PEACEMAKER

Bless you for that eloquent message. That is exactly what all of us have been trying to say and weren't quite getting it across. You said it so well and it is so true.

I have one other request of Bro. Chad. Please, also lead by example and be open and honest with the church about your beliefs. If you are Calvinist, which is the question being asked all over Trinity, you should be confident enough in that belief to step into the pulpit, tell the church that you are, explain why you believe that way, then let Trinity decide if it wants to become a Calvinist congregation.

If you do not do that, there will always be a battle and PEACE will never come, because a congregation and its pastor need to be in agreement about who they believe God is...the God of the "WHOSOEVER WILL" or the God of the "ELECT". It cannot be both ways.

If Calvinism is your belief, why must Trinity be manipulated into position before you reveal it?

My understanding is that Trinity was/is/will be a "traditional" Baptist church. If that is ever changed, shouldn't it be the decision of the church, not because it was your belief that they did not know about when they voted to call you as pastor?

Truth, transparency, trust..the three T's of any good relationship. Please, please, lead by example.

Seen This All Before said...

"All I am suggesting is that we should not allow selfish desires to drive our actions."

Considering how Chad operates, the above statment is laughable. "Selfish desires" are the ONLY things that drive his actions.

"Are people truly upset because of an offense that has been committed against us or are we defending the holy name of our God?"

Get back to me when Chad brings a child molester onto YOUR church staff and then tries to cover it up when the molester is found out. Not only did Chad hire this creep, but he stood in front of the church and defended this man (after Chad knew what was going on) and said the church should continue to welcome this predator in the fellowship! Chad did all this without mentioning what the man's offense was (because he was Chad's long time buddy). Chad told the church it was a "private matter" but that we needed to love him and continue to welcome him in our church (I guess Chad wasn't too concerned because he only has boys and this perv liked girls).

So, an offense against man or God? When a pastor stands in front of his church and knowingly lies to his people to defend and protect a child molester I'd say it's an offense against both.

You think I'm lying? You think I'm embelishing this stuff? No, this really happened. It's one of many sick lies he's been a part of.

Don't forget about his "not knowing" or what I believe to be his cover up of his brother being caught viewing PORN at his dad's (Mike Everson - King deceiver))church, Prays Mill Baptist in Douglasville Ga., and all the lies thereafter to keep this information from his former church Madison Street.

Then all the lies he told the church concerning Doug and his character assignation thereafter for being the who exposed the truths about all these Pharisees for what they were....

Trinity has always been Traditional Baptist Church but I also feel that we are God's church and it is for HIM to change us not for a man to lie his was in and decide to make us what he wants not what God wants us to be. I also KNOW God wants us to be happy in our faith. It is NOT a bad thing to feel happiness from worshiping and praising with God's people. To tell us that we should feel bad when we leave church is a cop out for making us feel that way. I LOVE Jesus and I am so Happy about it and that IS what God wants. I don't want a "Feel Good Church" I want to know what God's word says for my life and how to apply it to my life. Trinity Family it used to be fun to be here now?????? Do we really want this forever? NO!

Trinity, more Calvinism proof:

Directly from Chad Everson's online resume on linkdin.com:

"Dr. Chad Everson’s Interests:
Chad Everson is an expert in Biblical studies in sound doctrine and theology; Mr. Everson enjoys reading the works of authors such as John McArthur, Mark Dever and Steve Lawson"

Now, prove it to yourselves. Google "Mark Dever, Calvinism" or either of the other two names and there you will see that these guys are openly 5-point Calvinists.

At least, they have the courage of their convictions, quite unlike Trinity's pastor, who is getting his 'ducks in a row' before springing it on you. Things such as his recommended book list (all by Calvinist authors), his "Peacemakers" (who probably don't even know they are being prepared to be his enforcers when this all hits the fan), his preparatory sermons on church discipline (you won't be able to say he didn't tell you what was ahead for you), etc.

It's coming, Trinity, and if you don't educate yourselves on Calvinism now, you are going to regret it later when you have to make a decision to listen to it or leave your church home.

If you don't know what Calvinism teaches, please Google "5 point Calvinism". Read it for yourself and if that's what you want, then he's your man.

However, see for yourself if you believe the Calvinist views about "Unconditional Election",
"Limited Atonement", and "Irresistible Grace". They sandwich those things in between "Total Depravity" and "Perserverance of the Saints", which have believable parts. The concept that Jesus died for only the "elect" flies in the face of what the Bible says about our God. Please see if this is what you want your children and grandchildren taught. Then you can make an informed decision. It's seems unlikely that Everson will tell you the truth about himself until he's ready.

In addition to your Calvinist pastor, you have two Calvinist ministers already teaching your children. Don't be blind. If you want it, fine, but if you don't, please see what is ahead for you and your children.

Ask yourselves why God gave us
John 3:16, "For God so loved the WORLD that He gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
It does not say anything about "the elect". The Bible speaks of "the elect", but it's referring to the total body of believers, not a chosen few. If Calvinism was true, why even have churches?

There are so many questions you will ask yourself when you really get into it.

Bottom line...your pastor had a plan when he came to you, he is building his power base (some who may not even be aware of his beliefs), and he's thinks he's manipulating you into position to be afraid to resist him when he does make himself known.

Hopefully, that PSC was from a congregation with Calvinist leanings, who would love him and perhaps there, he could focus on loving his congregation instead of positioning and manipulating them. Trinity will be blessed if they want him.

Please check out Calvinism, then get into your Bible and read its warnings about false teaching.

May God bless Trinity with an awakening that your faith must be defended.

Hey, I was under his dad Mike Everson.

Mike Everson was absoutely teaching that cult junk at Prays Mill and brought in Pastors and Evangelist who tried pushing it on us for years. He used to have WED night training on that junk. Many wanted to believe Mike, but Many stood up against him.

That was his downfall, Calvinism and what they taught - those same teachers CHAD uses,

We heard that Dr elect mess for years...and it busted our church wide apart...they still fight about doctrine.

If anyone has any questions just ask members like me and others who have experienced these Calvinist taught ways.

It is wrong!

Yes Trinity, Clay Cox is right in there with them....hookline and sinker...

It is a CULT! RUN!

Don't depend on your staff to help you with this mess, either. He puts them so in fear of their jobs until they will have zippers on their lips.

Also, don't depend on your Deacons. He has a strangle hold on them, too. Most of the time, he has personally picked HIS Deacons. They aren't yours, they're HIS and they learn early that HE is in charge and they are expendable if they don't walk the line, his line. Unless you happen to have a few, who love the Lord and their church family more than a title, you will have to do it on your own as a group. You, with God's help and blessing, have sacrificed to build your church and put your hearts and lives into it. Do not give it away.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have only your worship and service to the Lord to concern you? Church is no place for drama, politics and greed.

The drama surrounding these guys kills churches by stressing even lifelong members until they can take it no longer and leave. Many leave a lifetime of sacrifice, love and friendships behind. That's how they hijack churches.

It's amazing what power-hungry, money-hungry men will do. They don't mind hiding behind God to do it, which is what makes them so dangerous. Trinity is a stepping stone for Everson. He will use you, then move on to greener pastures.

Bless you all.

Dear Trinity members I beg you to pray I do think something big will happen soon. I think and believe with my heart that he will leave and God's man will come. I just want you to know then the battle will start because Chad's minions will have to go and that includes none other than Jimmy Hughes. There has always been a strain of Calvinism in Baptist life, but it has been tempered, historically, by a strong congregational government. Only recently have Baptist pastors, particularly SBC pastors, claimed power for themselves and pushed lay people to the sidelines. Frankly, even today, most SBC churches are governed by the congregation, not the pastor. Only the larger churches, those who feel compelled to offer religious entertainment and events, rather than authentic worship and fellowship seem to have that problem. It's too late for Trinity, you folks have demonstrated that you have no power to stop the ravenous wolf who occupies your pulpit. However, for others, if your pastor begins to preach and teach about the Doctrine of Election, even mentions TULIP, or proposes to change the constitution and by-laws to centralize power into the hands of a few, FIRE HIM immediately. Give him three to six months salary and benefits and send him packing before the next Sunday comes. Otherwise, he will destroy your church. You think I'm kidding...look at Trinity. What a tragedy; all because God's people stood by and let it happen. No matter what they tell you, preachers are not gods. They are just men whom God has called to serve Him. When they start serving themselves, they leave the divine calling, and are unfit to call themselves "God's men," regardless of their wealth or celebrity status.

Anonymous said...

Oh Jim,Jim.Jim. you are so correct on what should happen to churches who's pastor starts to act totally controlling. But you are wrong when you say it is to late for Trinity. It will take a lot of prayer and work but we can get through this. Trinity family the pieces are falling into place. I think something will happen soon. If he goes somewhere else maybe he will be perfect for another church of madness. Bro. Jim is moving back and I know he does not want to pastor a church but God has blessed him with the ability to build and grow churches. He can help restore the friends and families that have been torn apart from these men. He can help us find a Godly pastor and he will do what is right by Trinity because he loves us. Did you hear that he LOVES us something Chad has never done and will never do. I hope Chad leaves it will be the best news we could hear. If someone called for a re-vote on Chad he would never make it. He seems to always leave a church before that happens so I think he will leave soon.

Chad's Blog Watchdog! said...

I have been reading Bro. Chad's blogs on the Trinity website. For the past few weeks all he has done is explain his reasons for running the church the way he does and why it is right. This week is no different. He is trying to promote the reason for his music choices.
This is what he he wrote:

How important is the style of music a church sings?
The style of music a church sings is relatively unimportant.
1. Most important are the truth of the words being sung. Since a church sings music in order to worship God, our songs should function like a musical confession of faith. Those confessions of faith should contain substantial truth about God, or else we’ll hardly be worshiping at all.

"Ok?"

2. Two principle purposes of putting such words to music (questions of style aside) are (i) to assist the heart to emotionally engage with the truths being sung, so that one’s emotions properly conform to those truths; (ii) to help the congregation remember, even memorize, those truths. We sing to God to stir up our hearts to exalt and honor him.

"OK that one I will buy"

3. The style of music a church uses is ultimately unimportant. Style is passing.

"This is what someone says that only wants what he wants and others he could care less about."

4. It’s only worth paying attention to insofar as different styles may do a better or worse job of helping people properly conform their hearts to the truths being sung.

"WHAT??"

5. Even then, many people can learn to adapt, especially when their pastors teach them that our musical preferences provide us an excellent opportunity to “count others more significant than yourselves” (Phil. 2:3). This is especially true if a church hopes to reach a variety of people from a variety of walks and stations of life.

"Oh that is funny Chad. That goes both ways as a pastor you should try to minister to your people ALL of them not just make them listen to you and Jon's music."

6. In short, what we sing is far more important than how we sing it.

**This was the truths that he gave us this week all posted by Michele. I wonder if he even reads them.**

We are paying him for this..... Really?

They just think they are ENTITLED to do whatever is necessary to maintain the "leadership" they so richly deserve because they have been "called". Calvinism breeds that attitude.

They are right, everyone else is wrong.

They are holy, everyone else is either lost or doesn't quite measure up to their holiness.

They are special and destined to lead, everyone else is their underling and meant to follow.

Everson gets in the pulpit at Trinity and admits he's arrogant...or rather that others THINK he's arrogant...but never is there any hint that he thinks he should simply STOP being arrogant. It's like...get used to it or get lost.

There is one thing worse than being one of his church members, who he says are "... following the same tract of rebellion their daddy did when he was thrown out of Heaven. They just hate any sort of authority or submission." That's being one of his children.

Don't you feel so sorry for those little boys? Chad prides himself on what a fine father, teacher, disciplinarian he is being, but has he ever thought how embarrassing it might be for those boys to be used as examples in every sermon? IMO, when they are older, they will rebel. Being PK's (preacher's kids) is hard enough without having everyone in church knowing your most private moments at home. Those are precious boys and sometimes you just want to yell at their Daddy to stop picking on them.

Back to authority and submission: Most of us have no problem with "authority and "submission". Jesus is our authority and we submit to Him. We will also yield to the authority and will submit to a pastor...if that pastor is preaching the true gospel of Jesue Christ and leading God's church with a pure heart. We don't think God ever called any of us to be under the authority of or to submit to a pastor who weilds an iron fist and beats us over the head with false teaching.

"Matthew 7:5 (NKJV)
Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."

To who posted before It is a great dream and wish but Bro. Jim will not come back. I loved him and for all the people who helped run him off guess what you are the ones who are now wishing he would come back. Remember it can always be worse.... I will also say that Bro. Jim can't understand why we called Chad here. He said that he should be run off and should have never been considered.

Anonymous said...

I agree with the post on him having a clue. I am always reminded that Jesus said: He is WITHOUT sin cast the first stone." Chad has never thought he has sin in his life and he throws lots of rocks.

I will have to say that I hated to see Bro. Jim leave and think he might be Trinity's last hope. Hold the money and Chad will leave.

Reading the new Chad Blog on TBC site. He is praising the fact that he has members drilling visitors in a way they don't realize they have been drilled. The church is a place where the lost can come to find answers and Christians can grow and mature into what God wants us to be not Chad. Unless a person has "Biblical" reasons for not becoming a member of Trinity we should except them. A cult only allows the people in they want. These people are usually the ones who show they can be controlled and will submit to Chad's authority.

Trinity family have we lost all of what this church was built upon. We were always a people who cared about each other. We could trust our staff and I never questioned what was going on because I knew the heart of the leadership. The leadership now is built upon the "EVILSON'S" people made to spy on their friends and family. He has made it seem that it is in their best interest to report them so they can be "ministered" to. No they are approached and if they refuse to change their thinking to Chad's way then they are prayed for as LOST. They are run out of the church as trouble makers. This is crazy thinking. If you out there think I am wrong then do what I did. I did not believe what my friends said about Chad until I prayed for God to open my eyes and show me if this was true. I was amazed at what fed flags popped out every time he preached. I started researching and talking to people that quite frankly our PSC should have talked to. Chad is a good salesman. He sold himself when Dr. Mahoney and many deacons and staff members said we should pass on him. The fact was Chad had to get out of Florida. He was about to lose his job and still may face criminal charges for protecting a sex offender he had on staff. What he did to this victims (a teenage girl) family was a sin. It has been over a year and a half now and if we were having a stock holders meeting he would be fired. We have lost godly people, the money is very low, the choir is all but gone, children and preschool at the lowest in years. Just PRAY. Open your heart and eyes. Stop and Pray unless you are afraid to. If you are afraid for God to show you the truth then you must already know it and this is right.

STOP AND PRAY!

When we joined Trinity oh so many years ago. The church had only been open in Southaven for about a year. There were so many ministries for everyone in our family. The people at Trinity were so friendly and welcomed us in. Now we have post on Chad’s
blog “PRAISING” the wonderful member who drilled a visitor. This wonderful clone of Chad and Michele questioned this visitor in a way they did not even know they had been interrogated. A church should not be like a country club where only Chad’s type of people are welcomed. This is a cult! We need to stop and pray. Pray that your eyes will be opened unless you are scared to see what God will show you.

STOP AND PRAY!

My prayer is that GOD do something immaculate and all inspiring to reveal and expose to the Eversons, those within the Baptist Mafia, and their evil Demon Disciples that their wicked ways arr not of him.

It will take GOD's disciplining hand to bring them, and I mean all of them, back to him.

Now let's allow HIM to work and watch his miracle !

Because it will take one to bring them to see that there ministry is counterfeit and destructive!

I have posted on this blog several times, including the most recent post of July 14 at 1:03 p.m. However, please know I AM NOT the "Bro. Jim" who was the former pastor of Trinity. I am a retired Baptist minister living in Florida, thoroughly disgusted with the state of the Southern Baptist witness today, largely because of leaders like the whole Everson clan. By the way, I still maintain it is still too late for Trinity to recover. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

Jim,

I pray you are wrong. As you well know, sometimes God works in mysterious ways and I am praying that Trinity will be used to open Chad's eyes and Chad to open the eyes of Trinity.

In retrospect, we can see that the two former pastors, Butler and Jett, may not have been perfect, but they both sincerely loved the Lord, preached His Word with love and sincerity and loved the people of Trinity. Neither of them was devious nor dishonest.

When Trinity awakens, stands up and moves on to a REAL PASTOR, we need to be very, very careful about the discernment of the next PSC, and much more open, clear communication needs to be had between the committee and the church body.

IMO, the selection should be narrowed down to three qualified ministers and each should be allowed to stand in our pulpit, preach to us, tell us his beliefs, his plans for our church if he is called and then let us make an informed decision. Not just have one man paraded in and a vote taken. We got the 'fools rush' on this guy.

Red flags of any kind should be followed up thoroughly and before we take anyone's word for anything, it needs to be investigated. We would check more thoroughly on a housecleaning service to clean our toilets than we did for the current pastor. He did a number on Trinity and it's going to take a lot of effort to cut him loose.

It is good to know that there are ministers who see the problems in the SBC. It's a mess!! Thank you.

A-Men to the last post 7-18 @ 11:16.
You are so correct about how we find a pastor. I feel the person should preach a week revival at our church. We can have him talk to committees and parents of the children and youth. They do not need to just talk to the deacons because they just a few of the people in our church. Find out how the rest of us feel. We have 12 men who are so out of touch with the churches needs and only do what Chad wants. Chad has convinced them this is right and they trust him and do not even seek God's will. None of us are on this earth to do Chad's will we are here to serve GOD.

Yes maybe we are talking about the new PSC because we are ALL hoping he is soon gone. There is no pastor who will make all of us happy but we have never had one hurt us the way Chad does all the time.

There is no fear Chad about us not leaving church feeling bad. That is how I feel every time you preach. Why wouldn't we you only preach on gloom and doom. There is no hope in your sermons. God is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, KINDNESS, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and SELF CONTROL.Those are the FRUIT of the Spirit and the Spirit is JESUS.

What is CHAD's Fruit? Hate, Anger, Yelling, Doom, Lost, Evil, Lies....

Which Fruit do we feel God wants in leadership of Trinity?

Anonymous said...

I can't believe that Chad really tells us he is doing his job right if we leave church feeling bad about ourselves. That is what he said yesterday. This is what he really believes and this is not in the Bible anywhere. If it is SHOW ME the scripture where it tells us that going to church and worshiping God singing praises, visiting with other Christians and hearing God's word should make us feel BAD. It doesn't! Chad just wants us to depend on what he tells us and we will be so mixed up we will just trust what garbage he tells us. STOP and PRAY! Open your Hearts and Eyes..... Unless your afraid I am right.

I wonder if these men beat there wives?

When churches defend, support and "cover" for evil leaders who occupy their pulpits, they cease to be "church." No doubt, some of the people who populate the building are good and decent people, who are simply being used. However, if their powers of spiritual discernment are so shallow that they fail to recognize that the one who claims to be "God's man" is conducting himself like "Satan's child," then they no longer represent the Body of Christ. God will not bless that body! Only when they trust God, rise up, and remove the cancer that is killing that body, will God honor them again.

The blessings have stopped. Just talked to another young couple with two children who are visiting other churches. Show me Chad the blessings. You can't people gone money down please God has taken his hands off you years ago and until you go back and right the wrongs you will never have a ministry. You have to do things God's way and forget what your dad taught you. From what I have seen he has no ministry either.

Bob Eison and Johnny O'Daniel when are yall gonna wake up and realize what is going on. Chad is a Calvinist. They Believe that Christ only died for a certin few, Whosoever doesn't me squat. Johnny this goes against everything you taught us in Sunday school. Think about it ... and here is another one for ya why would Brian leave like he did? Still praising Him in this Storm, Former Staff member

tb said...

Chad leaving is not enough! Trinity needs to clean house. Every deacon and every staff member must be replaced this includes John Miller and the secretaries/office staff. Some even need to be removed and not allowed to ever step foot on the campus again. New By-Laws must be written so that any future Pastor will only have one vote. He should not be allowed to rule over the finance, personel or any other committee. The Pastor's job is to teach not be sole authority over the church. That is God's job!

Former Staff Member Johnny and Bob were men who at one time could do something but those were many years ago. Now they are not even around much. Bob has his own problems with his son being an employee of TBC. Johnny should stand up but even his own kids have left. We need for the men in leadership to stand up and do something. I talked with a member who is visiting another church last week and they would love to return but not until he leaves. No one cares that the church is falling apart. Chad tries to paint a rosey picture but even Obamma makes what he has done appear good. If we choose to believe him them we are basing our faith on Chad's lies.

When a church gets so weak that they allow a man like Chad Everson, those within the Baptist Mafia, or their disciples to run that church as if it were a CULT (man controlled) entity, then that church will fail.

It is a church, not a business.

God controls HIS church, not a man@!

Amazing how accurately the title of Chad and Michele's new blog they named it "Desperate". Keep up faithful members and I also believe Bro. Jim is our only hope. I know he is Godly and will get all of this mess cleaned up. I will help. He will help us choose a Great Man Of God. Stand Firm we need this false prophet and his workers out! I agree CLEAN HOUSE!!

I Admit It I read this blog. I also read the TBC site and Chad's blog. I have seen people saying that they don't like that the owner of this site can post or not post what they like. Well I posted on Chad's blog and ask what the purpose of the post on being desperate was and I posted it because I did not understand his reason for it. Guess What? My question was not posted nor explained. Now is that not just the pot calling the kettle black.

Praying for Change said...

My heart is breaking for Trinity right now. So many families leaving and hurting. It is just one bad decision after another. Our family is very torn about leaving, but our heart is not there right now. We pray daily for the leadership, in particular the Everson family. I pray that their eyes will be open to the loving, amazing God I know and love and that they will want to glorify Him and serve Him with gladness. That they will lead with open and clean hearts and not with an iron fist. I pray that His Spirit will engulf Trinity and we will become a church that preaches God's greatness and love, not bitterness and false doctrine. A church with a heartbeat for serving others, not serving themselves. May His Name be ever praised!

I agree the church is a ministry but it also has a business side. The main part of the church is to preach the Gospel Not SCREAM IT! It is a place to worship the Lord. Yes the business side must pay the bills. We are to pay our pastor but not so much that he forgets how to do the job that God called him to do. We have so many people on staff and NOTHING being done. We have to do what the business world would so if sales were down and customers left the CEO would be fired. I think we have to face the facts numbers do not lie only Chad does.

A-Men 5:58 I pray that for the Everson's. They have No JOY in the Savior who died for them and rose from the grave. He did this for the LOVE of ALL HIS children. I know the possible PSC who was at Trinity a few weeks ago were enjoying Chad's sermon and maybe just maybe that church wants Calvinism but TBC was not that was when he came and just like the ones who want us to be contemporary and failed so shall Chad. We are what God wants us to be.
