chad a everson on History

The following paragraph was posted a couple of weeks ago, and it was held until now. It needs to be said now since this so called "pastor" is on the hunt once again.

"This is the same man who covered up a child molester on his own staff in Florida. He knowingly knew about it and even went so far as to attack the family of the girl involved for having the nerve to say anything and turn in the pervert. Now chad wants to look so high and HOLY please he just makes me SICK!"

This is also the same man who covered up the theft of over $70,000 at his first church in Georgia.

History is something that we are supposed to learn from, not simply repeat. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. If another church picks up this bunch of liars and thieves and expects to get a real pastor and staff that is out to do God's will, then do not be surprised when you just continue to give them another place to destroy. Will the insanity ever stop?

Trinity, this is now your problem, stand up and do what the others were afraid to do.

Chad has been missing for about a week. Michele and the boys have been out of town since middle of May. Most are hoping they are interviewing for a new church. He will say it is our fault but it is his.

I asked a friend still at Trinity she said Michele has not been seen since Mothers Day. She also said that she was told Chad was in Florida at a friends funeral. Most everyone hopes he is job hunting.

OK I am still waiting???? Many who want to return want to know if Chad has returned?? Hope Not!!

8:39,
He was back yesterday. I did not see Michelle is the morning service. The crowd was very slim, even though some of us are not!

Too funny 9:58

Talked to a friend who has children in the youth dept. In January there were about 150 youth attending. Now there are about 40. These facts I did check out and verify with a man who still works in youth. It is not Brad Walker it is thought to be because of all the families who are just sick of Chad. These people have left and being responsible parents have taken their children with them.
This man also said he has been counting and that attendance is down to about 350-400 and this includes nursery and childrens church. It just keeps getting worse and worse!!

I am not a usual commenter on this blog, but I too can confirm that attendance is 300-400 including kids and nursery workers. There are less than 200 adults & youth in worship on any given Sunday now.

My personal opinion is that Trinity ran smoothly while Chad and Michelle were out for 3 weeks, so why do we even need them? Bubba, Brad, Jon and John are all better preachers and could easily fulfill the role that Chad is filling now (ie head preacher and dictator). And without Chad's monster salary and benefits package, current tithers could probably meet the weekly budget needs, not including all the folks who would come back and start tithing when Chad is gone!

Personnel and finance teams: please consider doing away with the largest weekly line item - Chad! No severance, no waiting period - tough economic times call for tough decisions. Man up!

"..., not including all the folks who would come back and start tithing when Chad is gone!"

********

Let me first say, your post was sincere and concern showed in every word you said.

I just have an observation about your hope that folks would come back if Chad left....

I really wish that were true. However, that is the saddest part of the destructive things Chad has been allowed to do to Trinity. Most of those people would not could back for two major reasons:

1. They believed they were part of a "family", but the leaders of the Trinity "family" let them down miserably. From existing staff to deacons...they all knuckled under to Chad, did not protect the family and betrayed trust and friendships. Those same leaders would still be in charge and the fear would be that the next charlatan could manhandle them in the same way...no backbones in the bunch.

2. Most of the people have moved on. Trinity is a painful memory in the past. They have been welcomed into other Christ-focused churches where there in peace, trust, love and respect. Why would they leave that to step back into more potential chaos?

Chad has effectively destroyed Trinity or, at best, handed it a really long and difficult recovery period. The folks in Byron, GA and Starke, FL can attest to his expertise in that area! The famous doctorate should be "DCD" (Doctor of Church Destruction.

Those churches have survived, but it hasn't been easy to recover. You need to rid yourselves of this destroyer while Trinity still has a chance to recover. He won't leave as long as there is enough money to pay his salary. Then he will "be called" somewhere else...how convenient!

Since when did the sole purposes of a church become struggling to pay megabucks to a pastor and staff and keeping the utilities on? Isn't it supposed to be a place of worship, equipping and taking the Gospel to the world? Trinity has become all about CHAD! How sad!

Chad's goal was to make Trinity a Calvinist Mega Church. That is the problem Everything is Chad or Michele's goal and never God's will. If it were God's will then things would not be what they are. All his fruits and especially Michele's fruits are sour and bitter. To quote a 60's song. Two bad apples will spoil the whole bunch. They have spoiled and soured all of us.

it's always funny to me that everyone gets hung up on Chad being a "calvinist". that's really not the issue and never has been. The Baptist Faith & Message is "calvinist" by most folks' interpretation. It's about Calvinism. Chad's single most problem is that he lacks the LOVE of Christ. His life doesn't reflect LOVE for people. He's so obsessed with his "doctrine" that's he's missed the basics.

Amen, 11:58

You hit the nail on the head. Anyone who knows Chad is conflicted about their reaction to him.

If what he "says" came from a person with a loving heart, it would not seem so harsh. It's what he "does" that is the problem.

It's like he preaches with an angry attitude. He seems to want to force his listeners to doubt everything they have ever believed so that he can force them to believe as he does. (Same method is used by wife, M.)

It's odd that he thinks it has taken him, possibly Daddy and Jarrod, to finally figure the truth of the Bible out after all those stalwarts of the faith before him (Graham, Rogers, and others he has made fun of from the pulpit) just flat didn't get it.

The problem is arrogance, self-importance, pride and lack of the love that a God-called pastor usually has for his congregation.

Wrong man in wrong profession!

I hear the resume's are flying around the Southeast by some man named Waaters and his bunch.

I am sure he will go somewhere his daddy put in the good word, especially in S. GA where daddy Evilson spouts his gargage.

and we all know about those Everson's.

If not just google them

That is so true A friend told me herself that she can't stand Chad when he preaches but loves him at the ball field. I just can't figure this out why go to a church where you hate his style of preaching. She said she was ready to leave until she got to know Chad personally. She said that she has gotten very close with Chad and so she overlooks his preaching because she knows it is not the "Real Chad". Hummmmmmm She just kept on talking about the real Chad, shouldn't he be the same? He yells and bullies and hates in the pulpit and loves in the ball park?? He is just NUTS!

While working VBS at another local church this week it has been amazing that so many families are visiting other churches. One mother told me that she is hoping that her children make friends here this week because last Sunday was their last week at Trinity. I ask her about the numbers that have been reported and she said that there are about 300 people in service on Sunday A.M. and very few children. She had a problem with Pam in the nursery and neither Jeff S. or Chad would even talk to her and did not care. She said that there are many people who are still there because they feel "No one will run them off from their church!". Then you have some that would jump from the steeple if Chad said he would catch them. They would drink the Kool-Aid.

Since he is so nice at the ball field, maybe he would do a better job as a coach, since he has done a lousy job as a "pastor". The bad part is, the so called deacons have allowed him to destroy God's House.

A coach is great but the kids would never know how they did . All he can say is "Your Lost". They may never know if they won a game. I hope they leave soon. I hope he takes Jeff S., Brad W., and PLEASE TAKE JON!!

On the Trinity Blog Chad is posting (a couple of weeks ago) he is telling us how to learn "Biblical" money practices. He wants us to do right so we can give him more. Please wake up Chad we are not stupid!! We will get rid of you soon.

A very wise and Godly man preached a sermon today in a worship center that was almost full. 5 people came down and joined the church, 4 of which came from Trinity. As h spoke I was reminded of the contrast between what is going on there and what is happening at Trinity. As he spoke he said that " It is God's will for all of His churches to grow. Well Trinity I guess you are not in God's will. You are down to a few hundred on Sunday A.M. that is so sad. This church is growing. God's hands are all over it. See Chad even LIED about the pastor of this growing church. Chad claimed that the pastor wrote him and told him he was moving back to the area but would not even consider preaching. He did not write Chad.

This Godly man would have been happy to move back here in retirement and love on his Grand kids and not worry. He would have but Praise the Lord he did not. He had to step up and help hurting people and he said YES to the Lord's Will. That is the difference Bro. J is under the umbrella of God's will and Chad is not. One church grows and one is slowly fading away. One is looking to relocate and enlarge as one is losing their building. Why because one church has Godly leadership and one has WIMPS in charge.

Remember all of this could have been so different. Trinity leadership you chose this, Hope your happy now.

He is one to talk about Biblical money practices. How about just start with honest ones?

Byron, short sales, who knew??

I do, and so does he and his wife.

to 11:21

or just preaching for a love offering because he is called to do so by God, and not a salary that delivers no fruit.
