chad a everson on Reconciliation

The next time chad preaches to warn you about taking the Lord's Supper without first going and reconciling yourselves to those that have ought against you, watch him to see if he goes and tries to reconcile those Brothers and Sisters that have been harmed by his actions and his false teachings.

Just saying, practice what you preach.

Thank you and the next time he talks about gossip and Peace Makers lets remind him he started this war and he needs to be man enough to end it. He walked into Trinity and started to listen to people and went after those who he was told had caused trouble. He needs to start the healing and learn to say "I'm Sorry".
You have people in three states waiting for it.

I know several in Florida and Georgia who have been waiting on his
" apology " - LOL - and are just laughing at what he tells those in Mississippi - all those lies.

The man, nor his followers or MOUTHING GOD PHARISEES, lives what they preach - for sure!

Lead by example Chad be the first to make things right with the ones you have hurt then maybe like your hateful spirit it will spread and then we will all start healing. As you tell everyone it will only hurt your pride. Apologize first lead!

Its pretty apparent Chad has angered a lot of people. This blog would not exist if it wasn't so. It could be possible he doesn't belong in the ministry. If so, God would be blessing his ministry. Its pretty apparent he was not actually called by God to pastor a church, but apparently had the desire because of his father has been a preacher. He may need to consider another profession to obtain a salary, and teach Sunday School. He can still glorify God, and not be such a negative influence on so many people, just those who wanted to be in his Sunday School class. Nothing personal Chad, but a church shouldn't be in a nose dive like Trinity currently is if you were truly called to lead her. Praying for God's guidance for all.

Thank you 11:09 That is what I have been saying. Chad has been at three churches and if he was truly called by God those churches would have shown fruits of growth. They all three have just hit bottom. These are facts not gossip or lies made up to hurt Chad. There are a lot of people who are momma or daddy made preachers. Men called to be preachers cause that is what a parent expected. These men usually get out of the ministry and luckily before they destroy lives. Chad is just not that smart.

WAKE UP PLEASE!!!!

On March 10th, at 4:37 there was a post by someone who was defending the honor and attacking the people here who do not like Chad. This person asked?

Anonymous said...

Is God a fool? Is he not in control? You speak of letting God choose who the pastor at Trinity will be.. Are you saying he was out of control over who the pastor is now? Did God leave his throne? Did he take a vacation? Does man's inadequacy trump God's power? Does his weakness and even deceit rank higher than God's love for his bride?
Please explain...

March 10, 2011 4:37 PM

Now I hope this same person reads Chad's blog on the churches site and asked Chad the same question.

On the TBC site Chad started the blog by saying...."If this makes you mad .....I'll be O.K." This to say this is his preference and he could care less what anyone else thinks because he is right and everyone else that disagrees is wrong. He post that "Bike Week" is reporting that over 300 people were saved during this event. In Chad's opinion there is no way these people could have been really saved. He also says that in speaking with a man (possibly A.C. Curtis??) that had gone to India and said that he preached and over 100 people were saved. To this Chad claimed that this was not possible and that the people of India only added God to the list of the other 1000 false prophets they worship. So I guess this means that any mission trips unless under Chad's control that there is no way anyone could be saved.

Last week there was a revival meeting at Trinity and I guess that anyone if anyone was saved it was fine because they were saved in the correct way....Chad's way.

Folks this man is crazy. I do hope that the person who blasted the post on March 10th has the bravery to ask Chad the same, unless they like others who have been brave enough in the past know what will happen to them. ATTACK by CHAD!

That's very similar to the letter that Chad composed for everyone at Trinity to sign and send to two former pastors. He expected everyone at Trinity to apologize for not standing behind and supporting these two men of God. Basically he feels the entire congregation needs to be sovereign to the pastor, and stand behind them no matter what. He also feels he is incapable of wrong. I believe the proper term would be prima donna. Don't hold your breath waiting for an apology from him on anything. You will die blue.

Anonymous said...

I know Chad wanted us to sign a letter when we did nothing. Even Bro. J. said that he never received the letter. I sent him one on my own that I worded myself. I told him I did not understand the reasoning behind Chad's letter and if I had done anything I was sorry. I was told back that I had nothing to apologize for and that he did not need this from Trinity. Chad is just off his rocker. He needs to know that we know what he is and he will fall soon. Then Trinity can send another letter.

Its probably too late. It is only in God's hands now. The floodgates continue to pour as the members leave. The teacher of the largest Sunday School class is leaving and probably taking most of his class with him, like all the other godly teachers have done. Within six months it will be finished, unless what's left of the church begins selling off property, or cutting more positions. Where's Chad?? He's running around Washington at another Reformed 9 Marks Conference. Undoubtedly with your tithes, of course. Another vain, power hungry, self righteous trip. His revival did nothing for the church. No decisions. How much longer will those who are trying to still make it work allow him to continue to destroy the church??

Chad's blog is a monologue, not a blog. There aren't a handful of comments in the whole thing. Could it be that no one is interested enough to even attempt to comment, knowing that unless it were glowing praise it would never be published?

This latest arrogant, elitist, Calvinist Elect diatribe is amazing. If I hated being a Southern Baptist as much as he does, I'd take the word off MY marquee and call MY church something else and preach that stuff to those who wanted to hear it. To outsiders, it is evident he totally rules Trinity now, and could do that while the "followers" trembled in the corner helpless to stop him.

Then he wouldn't have to worry about those silly, foolish Southern Baptists out there trying to fulfill the Great Commission taking Jesus' Gospel to that bad old lost world and trying to plant the seeds that we are called to do.

He's right about one thing, it is the Holy Spirit's conviction and drawing that makes the difference in the lives of the lost, but we are called to tell them about Jesus, then get out of the way and the Spirit will do His work! Even bad old bikers need to know that someone loves Jesus enough and loves them enough to risk coming into a partying, wild bunch of revelers and at least try to tell them there is a better way to live their lives. If that seed of realization was planted in the mind of just 1 person, who might seek Christ because of those people caring enough to try, it was worth it.

That's what missions are all about, Chad! You don't know because you hide behind Trinity's walls trying to convince people who have already made their decisions to accept Christ that if they don't do everything YOUR way, they are lost. You are becoming the poster child for legalisim and your Calvinist leanings are becoming all too evident!! Or was it Reformed?? Either way, it's obvious you are real bored with Southern Baptists and frankly, they are pretty bored with you, too.

One other point, Jesus didn't go out and preach to...let's see..wasn't it 5,000+ on one occasion and 4,000+ on another occasion...and refuse them salvation just because they didn't have PHD's in Theology or hadn't attended 12 weeks of a New Member's class before they were deemed "good enough"!

Others who really didn't measure up...let's see...the thief on the cross, the Ethiopian eunich, Lydia, three thousand on the day of Pentecost who were "pricked in their hearts" by just HEARING the Gospel, the jailor at Philippi...and on and on.

(Last post continued)

It seems the reason salvation seems so complicated to Chad is that he believes it's only available to a chosen few (The Elect) and that it's futile to reach out to all those wicked lost people out there. Forbid that he might get his holy hands dirty, or see or hear something that might offend his righteous eyes and ears.

Seems those are the same reasons he and Mrs. E tell you moms to quit work, homeschool the little ones, protect them from all that filth out there. Remember that God tells us to be "in" the world, but not "of" the world. How else will we ever be able to exercise our faith or be the "light" that He calls us to be unless we are out there?

Excuse the length of this, but I for one am just tired of this type of elitism and this arrogant, "my way is the only way" type of junk. I'm tired of hearing the sinner's prayer mocked, of hearing that great men of God who came before Chad and preached "Just As I Am" or "Come to Jesus" were so wrong. It's obvious that he has no regard for men like Billy Graham or Adrian Rogers, but I promise you, there are more souls in Heaven today because of the loving, God-honoring way those men presented the Gospel and pointed people toward Jesus than will ever be there by the legalistic, arrogant way Chad presents it.

Jesus never told anyone that salvation was complicated. It was as simple as believing on Him, repenting of their sins, turning from their sins and following him. If it's as complicated as Chad says, how did he accept Christ as a child?...or is that reserved for preachers' kids?

God's Holy Word is our guide and it gives us every step we need to grow in our faith throughout our lifetimes...sanctification. We are also warned to discern the motives of those who present the Word to us. Luke 9:23 tells us of Jesus: "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." and Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved". Easy?...no Clear?...yes.

Chad said if we got mad, he didn't care. Suits me...not mad, just appalled that he makes fun of people trying to reach lost people, whether it's in Daytona or India. Leave them alone and trust that God is leading them to go and do what He told them to do.

It may not be Chad's way, but it's not up to him to mock them.

"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." (Proverbs 16:18)

Just sick of this said...

Thank you 9:58

This has just gone beyond stupid. Chad and all his minions seem to think we are all wrong. I am a Christian. I was raised Southern Baptist and I hate to tell Chad Trinity is a Southern Baptist Church. He had a plan in place to change us from our oh so misguided ways. We have been foolishly following for all these years. I have one question for all you people just blindly sitting by allowing this all to happen.

Why is it that Everyone else is wrong and Chad is right? Can you answer this by the scripture? No you can't. You are just following a false teacher who lied his way into a well paid job with lots of benefits. One of those should be unemployment. He has run off members, spent God's money, treated our family and friends like dirt all while telling us that we have always been doing everything wrong.

Well if growing, reaching and loving is wrong I don't want to be right in Chad's eyes. When I stand before Christ I want to hear well done and not asked what was I thinking.

Pretty soon Chad will be telling us that "People think we are dancing with chickens over here" For those of us who left a local church and came here many years ago you know what I am saying. Everyone thought he was right to until we woke up and saw what was really happening. Bonnie R. who wanted to serve on the PSC she knows just what I mean, she left there too and now she brought this cancer into our church. I am just sitting back waiting and soon Chad will be gone and maybe we will be the next church on the corner that becomes a drug store. All thanks to leadership who will not lead.

How can Chad explain the reasoning behind going to out of town meeting when we have NO MONEY? When money is tight you cut expenses not spend more. There is no reason to be going to these Hyper Calvinism meetings when Chad has removed us from the Southern Baptist meetings. He took the tithe that we entrusted to the church and spent it on a wonderful trip.

We better start to vote on all money spent from now on. The finance committee needs to be fired too. They can't seem to say no to this fool.

What no outcries over his last blog? I have tried to mane comments on the churches blog and they are never posted. Positive or not never posted.

The new post Chad has made on the churches site is outrageous! There has to be someone who can stop him and block him from being able to post and show his stupidity. Just read his arrogance. He wants you and me to think that all who have claimed to be saved over the last few thousands of years are now lost to Hell's fire. He claims that unless saved Chad's way it did not work. For Heaven's Sake someone shut him up and block him. He is so rude and I can't imagine anyone wanting to be saved if they have to act like Chad does.

I want to know what age group this Sunday School teacher who is leaving is in. I know I have been visiting and have seen so many people in their 20's and 30's at other churches. I thought they were all behind Chad. See another lie.

I just read Chad's blog it did make me angry. I am gone and so is my money. I have had enough. I have tried to support him and be nice. I will add more than he has been to me and others. IO have continued to give but I can't any longer. I do understand that these trips are booked ahead of time. That plane tickets can't just be canceled and money refunded but the money has been low enough for over a year and we should have not allowed him to spend it. I did not go on vacation last year because of money like Chad told us. He took his family on trips and his wife on a cruise. He did this with God's money. It is time to pay his house note and utilities and give him a food card to Krogers. Let his wife go to work.

If you have read www.thecultbuster.bl;ogspot.com like I have, you can see what his daddy did to Pray's Mill in Ga. and you know this is what he teaches his children.

Why would anyone want to sit under such legalism and follow this Pastor or any like him all over the Southeast?

If you want to see who some of their backscratchin buddies are and want to know who to avoid, look at the Baptist Beware list too.

His words are spewed gravel spit out from bumping gums that have NO meaning or ministerial purpose.

This is what "Pastor Lead" means now.

Leave before it takes effect of your mindset otherwise you will fall into the same trap as Pray's Mill and others have.

I am from another church in Southaven. I have a dear friend who has been just broken over all the problems at Trinity. I have spent much of the past week looking at The Trinity site as well as the site here. I will tell you from an outsider looking in you better run. Don't even look back. This man that you have hired can't be trusted. God has taken his hand off Trinity. I see her falling soon. As a fellow believer and a brother in Christ I will lift you all up in prayer. The few threads of hope are all that is holding TBC together now. Looking back at the dates of these post I just don't understand why the search committee would have even taken such a risk on this man. At my church that I am the pastor of we have just been blessed over the new members that we have had join. They have all been willing to serve and have not shown any signs of being such troublemakers. I have reason to say this man is Hyper Calvinist and you need to beware of his teachings. I will not post my name not because I am afraid of Mr. Everson but just to keep peace between churches. This has broken so many hearts and until he is gone I see no hope for Trinity. I pray she weathers this storm. This is the toughest battle she has ever faced and I pray she does not fall. Peace be with you all.

It is time to try and save some honor. We will be lucky to get any preacher next.

I think Chad is so power crazed that he just keeps ranting more and more. Each time more extreme. He is so sure now that NO ONE will stop him. He has bullied everyone into thinking if you say or do anything that contradicts what he has said then you are a trouble maker. Or maybe you are lost or both. We are a joke to most people in the area and many churches have us on their prayer list. Pastors around the county are praying for us. Something must happen soon. He walked away from his last churches. They like Trinity were so glad he came until the REAL CHAD came out. They lost membership and money and he soon left them crippled and broke. We are next unless Chad is sent packing soon. Just think maybe Trinity can make a big difference in the lives of others. If he is fired then he will not be able to lie his way into employment with another victim church.

Just like at Chad's father's old church Trinity will have to be sending out letters to apologize for allowing Chad to do the things he has done. That is what just happened at Prays Mills. Mike Everson bullied and abused people just as Chad is doing here and the current pastor along with the current deacons just publicly did this. Mike Everson took these people's names off the roll of the church (much like Chad wants to do here) He even went as far as to send letters to the churches these people tried to join giving his opinion of them. This church had to say it was sorry for allowing this man to bully and do something that was wrong.

We are next. The apple does not fall far from the tree. Open your eyes deacons. We are next and can stop him just do what is right.

Bro. Chad said he was going to put the information on line from the business meeting he had a couple of weeks ago. I have not seen it. Can someone tell me where it might be posted. I would like to see it for myself. There are many rumors and I want to know the facts.

Anonymous said...

Chad will never post anything except praises for his good works. Those are usually made up. I am also tired of seeing his post made by M.Everson is that Michele or Mike?? Well we are paying only Chad right????

Caleb said...

To the one who wanted details of the business meeting: I was told that they were cutting payroll less than 10,000 a month. I'm not sure of the exact figure. That would be about 100,000 off of a 1.3million or so payroll. This included cutting a couple of positions and an across the board cut. So basically everyone had their pay cut, because Chad and Michelle are running everyone off. Those left may lose 4-5% each. Chad is giving up chicken feed and all the other staff are having to suffer because of him. If he were a REAL man, he would take the whole responsibility on his shoulders. But wait, he is the almighty Chad. There's no way it could be his fault that half the congregation has left, and the tithes are half of what they once were, before he came.
As to the teacher who is leaving: If you go to Trinity or have been there in the recent past, you know who had the largest class. I don't want to mention any names. If he and his wife were behind Chad, he wouldn't have been at a real Southern Baptist church this past Sunday. Prayers out to everyone who continue to weather the storm. It may be time to throw someone overboard.

Thanks Caleb I think it is time God sends a BIG FISH to swallow and teach Chad and MICHELE a lesson. They both need to be brought down a notch. I am a member but left going on two years ago. I saw Chad change so much when Jeff came. It seems to have strength in numbers. I still love Trinity and have not moved my membership. I just hate all of this. I am praying hard for this teacher I am not sure who he is but don't want his name put here so that Chad can attack him. I am still praying and hope Chad is sent packing soon. He needs to be fired to help stop him from just going onto another prey. Thanks for the info. We have all learned through this mess. I guess they days of being able to trust a pastor who comes in is over. I hate the reality of the world entering into what used to a safe haven. Chad has just soiled us so much. The deacons are a joke and the personnel and finance committee need to be replaced unless they learn what we teach our kids. JUST SAY NO!

Praying for Justice.

As Chad so aptly commented in the bulletin Sunday, TBC has an excellent staff of ministers who are multi-talented, in that they can do their regular jobs and preach too. If our MEN could send Chad packing, I would love to hear Bubba and Brad preach more. They preach the whole Gospel with so much love!

Anonymous said...

People started to leave Trinity a month after Chad came. One couple who the man was a deacon and the lady was a Sunday School teacher. They had 3 children who had never been at any church other than TBC and they took their family and left after the 1st month. Anyone with half a brain can see that things are bad. No one is happy. If you are still at TBC then you are so careful to not say or do anything that could even for the slightest bit look like you are 100% happy with Chad. Michelle slithers around like a viper just waiting to strike out at unsuspectimg victims. She is just as bad as he is if not worse. She goes out of her way to find people to either attack head on or worse to cry to her big bad husband to run them out of the church.

Go to any church anywhere in the Southaven area and you will see faces of former family members of Trinity. You will feel at home at any church because you will know so many there. Why because these people woke up and said " This is not the life that Christ died to give us." And they are correct. The only one here that is wrong is Chad and all the weak minded people who just sit back and laugh at his scarcism and believe that all the 500 plus people who are serving at other churches were just lost troublemakers who needed to leave. Thats right do the math we have lost over 500 people in the past 2 years. No all have joined but are visiting. Wake up Please and do something.

Ok, here is the some history on how you handle exposing someone like Chad Everson and his lovely followers and disciples.

It took a guy with a website who posted his name to what he posted on his website and posted what we now know to be solid truths about the Everson's.

It took a guy standing up to Chad Everson in a service at Madison Street Baptist Church and questioning him about issues within the Church - Notice I said He stood up in a SERVICE AND HAD THE BACKBONE TO CONFRONT THE GUY face to face. Chad Run out the door and hid behind his discipled deacons.

At Dayspring Baptist in Byron GA he was questioned by many about financial and other issues - and Chad packed his bags.

Unless someone faces this guy and as long as Trinity members allow him to bully like his dad ( see CULTBUSTER website?) - he will continue to collect Trinity members money and pay him and his buddies well. And besides, Michele expect only the best as a Pastor's wife.

It is a job and career to Everson, not a ministry - otherwise he would be much different and people would be willing to see beyond his "bullying and abusive" tactics.

I seriously believe GOD has put his ministry - just like what happened to his Grandfathers - is "on a shelf " until he repents and starts to clear up matters from his past.

Now the question is, why is the man so prideful that he can not and will not repent and clear up ALL those issues?

Is it because there are to many?

Questions:

When did Trinity officially become a 9 Marks church, subscribing to the 9 Marks Mission Statement?

Did you know?

Did you approve Elder Rule?

Check it out for yourself.

1. Go to churchsearch2.9marks.org
2. Click on "Click Here to Continue"
3. Enter zip code 38671 on the right side of that page.

There we are! Congratulations!

I had two Great-Uncles and family members who were Southern Baptist Pastors. I saw my uncles as they wept when they talked about Jesus. They prayed and taught until death. They believed as the Bible said that you only have to ask and Jesus will save you. Yes there is more to Christian life than just saying a prayer and I believe that most all pastors believe that as well. Even at Trinity we always counseled people that came down for salvation or to just move their letter. If I took what Chad said in his post then everyone who has ever thought they were saved by the Holy Spirit convicting them and them praying a prayer (which is having a conversation with God) is now doomed to Hell. They did not know that there were other things that must be done first.
I have no problem to say that that is a lie from Hell. I have been in church all my life and I know that there is more than a prayer and meaningless words to get you saved but when the Holy Spirit leads all we have to do is ASK. Jesus said it. Why is it that everyone in the world and in Heaven and in the Bible are wrong but CHAD?? Chad is crazy. I think he will be the one on the day of judgment begging for mercy. He is so off I don't think a road map or compass or finest GPS will get his on the right path. How is it that all of these grown seasoned preachers can't get it right but Chad knew at a young child that he was saved.

Chad is what we were warned about in the Bible. In the last days there will be so many false prophets and the worst one may be in our church.

This is WRONG in every since of the word. He lied and said he would never do anything like that and HE LIED. HE IS A LIAR! He must be fired. OKAY Mr. Everson it is on now. I will blast you every chance I can and will get the word out. It's On NOW!

WOW! Trinity as a 9 Marks church is huge. This is a major turn in theology for a church that use to be a strong conservative SBC church. 9 Marks is in many ways like its own denomination. Make no mistake about it, this is a reformed/calvanist association. The bottom line is if you are currently a member of Trinity you have to decide. Do you hold to reformed theology or not. This should determine if you stay or go. My prayers are with you.

Anonymous said...

9 marks is NOT like a denomination...
The pastor that started it pastors a SOUTHERN BAPTIST CHURCH.
Get your facts straight before you grab at straws.

Dont load your gun with marshmallows!

To: 9:52

How many Southern Baptist Churches do you know who have ELDER RULE and call themselves REFORMED?

The 9 Marks folks may come out of Southern Baptist churches but they are determined to change the entire structure.

Bottom line for the pastors..be honest about the direction you are taking a church and make sure the congregation wants that. Tell the TRUTH! and if they don't want it...go start your own church!

Anonymous said...

Thank you 10:44

I promise you this if Chad had been honest then the PSC would have hung up on him. The people would have never voted him in and he would not have destroyed Trinity. He LIED and he knows it. He came here thinking he would change us and now he is trying to sell property without a vote to make up some money. (The ball fields are on the market) We DEMAND a vote. How much money does he send to the 9 marks movement and how much did we send to the cooperative program? Tell us the TRUTH!!

Anonymous said...

Load a gun with marshmallows?????
Only a soft marshmallow changes a church without telling people of it because they know what will happen. Chad is a MARSHMALLOW!

Anonymous said...

I asked a deacon several months ago about this and he told me that we were Southern Baptist and that we were not going any other direction. I truly believe he was being honest and did not know the real motive of the liar in charge. No one knows this but they will now.

To: 9:52

Actually, 9 Marks is "like" a denomination. They are an association of churches that hold to a distinctive theology regarding salvation (reformed) and church government (elder rule). Notice I said "like" a denomination not that they are a denomination, at least not yet but the day very well could be coming. Mark Dever is the "pastor" you referred to and his church is NOT your typical SBC church. In fact, I am not sure they are even still affiliated with the SBC. At best they are only loosely associated with it, just as Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven has become. The theology of 9 Marks is more closely associated with the Presbyterian church than the SBC. A church that shares the theology of a Presbyterian and a Baptist church are pretty much called "Reformed" today and this is what Trinity is becoming or has become. Btw, I got a kick out of the marshmallow comment. Thanks for the laugh!

Paul Revere said...

9Marks is NOT widely accepted because they are so hardline and legalistic. If you check the member churches, you will find very few normal Bible believing Baptist churches that have signed up for this new and almost denominational like group.

Those that subscribe to this group and join should be known as Extremist( kinda like the mindset we have of the Muslims groups) and avoided.

Legalism and Reformed theology is their claim to fame. Members must agree to certain beliefs and submit to certain rules and pay certain fees to be a member.

They will deny they are Hyper Calvinist, but their hard line writings and teachings speak for themselves.

They have used the Southern Baptist Convention and several seminaries to silently recruit young and new pastors, who do not know any better, to expand their CULT.

Beware!
Just google Mark Dever

Anonymous said...

It seems the reason all pastors, who are so enamoured with the 9 Marks method, push Matthew 18 more than they do the Gospel, is because they know when people realize they are being led into this kind of legalism and dictatorship, they will resist.

They want to know they already have the congregation forewarned about how they will be handled when they wake up and try to stop it.

All the leadership has to do then is label and penalize anyone who dares ask a question (aka, troublemaker), anyone who expects any transparency (aka, not submissive to authority), or anyone who dares to mention their concerns to any member of their church family (aka, gossiper)...then the ultimate label, "lost person". You all of a sudden lose your salvation just because you are offended that you have been lied to. How convenient.

Matthew 18 was meant to be the Christian way for brothers/sisters in Christ to biblically resolve diffences between themselves. It was not meant to be a weapon to be used by unscrupulous pastors to beat their unsuspecting members over the head and as an excuse to get rid of anyone who might expose their sin.

A church is a fellowship, not a master/slave relationship. The only master we have is the Lord Jesus and He is the only one to whom we are supposed to be a slave...lovingly and willingly!

Most church members are adults and can deal with the truth. It's insulting when they are treated like naive children who can't handle being told the facts. If you lie to them, you have to expect that they are going to eventually find out and be very unhappy!

Pastors, you bring it on yourselves. If Chad thinks this 9Marks stuff is so wonderful, why didn't he tell the congregation all about it and let them share in all the wonderful things they do? Why sneak around behind our backs and push it on us?

Any one of us can answer that question!

I am so sick of hearing "This is a NEW WAY to do church" Please times change but Jesus remains the same. Chad's lied to us and his sick perversion of the word , that he will answer for.

I posted on here about six months ago that Chad would be changing Trinity to a 9 marks church..Its all legalism, and actually cultish. Chad feels justified in doing anything, if he can use his interpretation of scripture as a crutch. Using scripture for personal gain is a sin, Chad. Keep supporting him with your hard earned money. Sell your things to get HIS church out of debt. Keep sending him to Washington DC to rub shoulders with the 9marks people, because he must have passed his initial interview. Your money should be going to ministries, not his PERSONAL agenda, and his large house note. He stands in the pulpit and screams the same legalism every Sunday, and thinks he's entertaining you with his sarcasm. What else does he do, but read more calvinist books and spend your money on what HE wants. Keep it coming, or Michelle may have to get a job like all of the other mothers in the church.

Hey, Women's Ministry participants:

Let us know on here when you get the word that Susan Hunt's book,

"SPIRITUAL MOTHERING: THE TITUS 2 MODEL FOR WOMEN MENTORING WOMEN"

is promoted to you either as recommended reading or maybe even your source material.

It's the latest, greatest thing being promoted by 9Marks (Ever heard of the T4G Conference or that hush-hush word, Calvinism??)

To see for yourself, Google "9Marks" or "T4G 2010" and open your eyes.

The transitioning that Trinity is undergoing is following their model. Prove it to yourself.

Check out their "Answers For Pastors" section and read a while. It's enlightening.

Careful Chad, even though you deny it, your Calvinism is showing.

Nice touch having Steve Green in to promote your agenda. You know....,"predestination" slipped right in there. Some probably didn't even realize it. You know, if it's repeated to a congregation often enough, pretty soon they aren't even going to notice...will seem normal, won't it?

Was Brainwashing 101 where that little trick was taught?

Only thing...sure seemed odd not having an invitation to accept Christ at the end...was that a faux pas or intentional?

Ooops, forgot...The Elect don't need to be invited, do they?

Please God, protect us from false doctrine!

I was shocked. I called a deacon to discuss this new information about Trinity and was told that he did not doubt it. He explained that being a deacon at Trinity was totally for looks. They really never meet and the staff is making all decisions. He also told me that when his turn was up he would be leaving, if he makes it that long. I went on the 9 marks site and to be listed there someone had to of paid a fee and they expect a monthly dues paid. So Chad can sleep well at night knowing he has fired 2 older cleaning ladies and cut small amounts of money from his and buddies paychecks. He keeps begging for more money and then behind our backs he pays some wack job group with it. He has made the staff the church elders who do what he says or they will be fired. It is time we fight for Trinity. We are just being wimps and sitting by with our heads in the sand and letting him do whatever he wants. If he started to sell booze and porn in the foyer would we sit by and allow it just because Chad must be sent by God so it must be right. NO we would not. This is a sin so is what Chad is doing now.

Repost as posted under "chad a everson on deception, August 9, 2010".

Does anyone else remember Chad preaching that "The Lamb's book of life was written before the earth was created" a couple of weeks ago?

I can't understand the spin on this blog. People of Trinity, and former people of Trinity, there is one solution to this whole problem. Either STAY and take it, or GO. Our happiness and well being on earth, shouldn't be determined by a man's teachings.

Trinity brought Chad to Southaven, knowing he and Michele were both hypercalvanists. The deacons knew, and Dr. Mahoney (a calvinist) knew. Calvinism is invading the SBC at an alarming rate. Southern is graduating masses every year. Chad will not compromise his position, and address it publicly.

The deacons and staff that chose to stay, knew what we were getting. So why does anyone expect them to do anything. They expect the "chosen lost" to leave, and the chosen FEW that remain will glorify the Lord in peace and tranquility. I just pray Chad can beg them for enough money, to keep the doors open.

If you believe that an infant can die in an accident, and be sent to hell, because of "limited atonement", you need to stay. If you believe that you were chosen by God for salvation by "irresistable grace", and your children may spend eternity in hell, because they may not have been, you need to stay. If you believe that those who have been divorced, conceived a child out of wedlock, or committted adultery are eternally damned because God would never have allowed that to happen to one of his "chosen". Stay.

If you believe Jesus was sent to earth to die, and take the sin of ALL who believe, you are in the wrong place. If you believe Jesus loved ALL, and offers salvation to ALL men and women who ask him to be their savior, you are in the wrong place. If you believe in free will, you are in the wrong place.

There should be no hate towards the current staff, for their beliefs. Noone should doubt their salvation, because their beliefs may be different than yours. We should love ALL, as Christ loved us. They say they have "sound doctrine". Good for them, but they will be standing in line with everyone else, on judgement day.

Life is to short to be stressing over the issues at Trinity. Find a Bible based Southern Baptist Church. Get involved in missions, or wherever you feel lead to serve our Lord. Put your tithe and physical effort into a church that loves the Lord, ALL men and women, and makes you feel good serving Him.

Trinity is becoming a "9 marks" church, and will be ruled with an iron fist. If you're not familiar with the term, Google it. "Master Teachers" are just the beginning, and all women will have their place. If you want to be subservient to a MAN and his chosen leaders, stay. If you want to find peace with God, relish in the grace He offers to all, and ENJOY serving a risen Saviour; take Chad's advice and go find it.

I pray that the hate and animosity stops, and that all eventually find love and happiness in whatever church body they choose. Peace and true love to all.

"If he started to sell booze and porn in the foyer would we sit by and allow it just because Chad must be sent by God so it must be right. NO we would not."

Sorry to tell you this but that has already happened.

Remember, his brother Jarrod Everson - son of Mike Everson who was the Sr Pastor at the time - was caught viewing PORNOGRAPHY at Pray's Mill Baptist Church in Georgia ( another recently found 9Marks church member now Pastored by Josh Buice) and Jarrod has been writing the Sunday School curriculum for others within this backscratchers group for years.

And the Baptist have retirement plans that invest in Alcohol based and PORN industry companies in the stock market and elsewhere for years.

They just don't want anyone to know.

Since when were deacons supposed to "make all the decisions"? You need to open your Bible... The position of deacon is not to rule, but to serve. Whoever you spoke to needs to check his heart in the reason he became a deacon... Irrelevant of who the pastor is & what church he's at!

Anonymous said...

I hate to break your little heart but the people of Trinity did not know Chad was hyper Calvinist or he would have not been voted in. We did not know and most of did not know about this site until he was already here.

Anon 4:33 PM, the Bible says Pastors are supposed to be servant leaders too and not Dictators like the one Trinity has. Are you going to tell chad to check his heart too.

Anon 4:38 PM, I hate to break your little heart, but several of your leaders on the PSC and several of your deacons had the knowledge they needed, but refused to act and let this wolf into your flock.

At any rate, they have all they need now, what are they and you waiting on. Do what needs to be done, protect the sheep because the man you people are so sure that God called to do so, is not doing it.

Peter said...

to anon 4:38

The 15% that voted against him knew something..the entire staff that left right away knew something...the deacons that left right away knew something...If you purchase a car to carry your family around safely, do you not do research before you buy?? If you vote to bring in a spiritual leader for your family, would you not do the same??
Its everyone's fault that he is at Trinity, and everyone still there will be held accountable for allowing him to run Trinity into the ground.

Being a autocrat leader. Which he was modeled from childhood. He was dominated by daddy.( kids who are bullied, will probably bully)It is not rocket science. So he watched and learned that getting in people faces and tearing down people is the way to make myself look better and makes me feel superior to others. Do any of you guys feel that in your pew. See at first these type leaders are seen as visionaries and confident. BUTTTTTTTT, don't question them. They do not understand BOUNDARIES(which is a great book {GET IT}, All who struggle with the feelings of, is it my place to speak up). Follow Christ, dont follow man. We make mistakes. learn from this and grow. We reap what we sow. 2 Other churches understand what this mans leadership has done. You guys are going through the pain now.
This man has a shelf life, just like fruit.(they get rotten and stinky if you dont toss them out) This is the thing about autocratic leaders. They are like bulls in a china shop, they will leave but there will be a lot of destruction that has to be cleaned up.
People who follow this man either feel they are on inside circle, or the elect thing makes them feel in a SUPERIOR group( both fill needs of feeling important) which everybody wants to feel at a certain level. We have been raised to put a preacher on a higher level than us mere subjects, but they are just men who suffer with sin. So never, never let them intimidate you. DO NOT FEAR MAN. Make Chad Explain, answer. Film it, tape it. So what if he thinks your a trouble maker. Never back down from this bully. Thats how he has learned it works for him. Quit enableing his poor behavior.
BOTTOM LINE, ADULTS SHOULD NOT TRY TO DOMINATE OVER OTHER ADULTS.IF THEY TRY, A BELL SHOULD GO OFF IN YOUR HEAD. I KNOW IF I AM CONFIDENT IN A POSITION I DONT HAVE TO SHOUT YOU DOWN OR TRY TO INTIMIDATE YOU OR USE SARCASM TO PUT YOU DOWN, TO GET YOU TO SEE MY WAY. SPEAK UP, HE IS MAN JUST LIKE YOU.DONT LET THIS MAN THINK HE HAS AUTHORITY OVER YOUR LIFE JUST B/C HE CALLS HIMSELF A PASTOR. YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD, NOT HIM.

Matt Waddell the head of the PSC told us that he was never told about this site. Chad gave him the names of several members of Maddison Street and from the church in GA. The people that he spoke with just praised Chad. Chad also told us that he personally told the PSC about this site. (If people don't think he did or Chad says differently I have the e-mails from him that says so). When I asked Matt W. about him knowing about this he said that Chad NEVER told him anything. He also said that Chad said the person on this site was just mad at his dad and him and none of this was true. The PSC did have issues about Chad but he smoozed them into thinking they were just misunderstanding him.

The 15% were right! We were wrong. We were told that the staff including John M.,Greg S., Bubba, only did not want him because Chad would make them work or be fired. I was told this by one of the staff members who left. He was not lying to me. He knew this man was bad and he left almost as soon as Chad came. Funny Chad blamed the choir for running him off when it was Chad that did.

To be honest Chad did his homework better than we did he chose a church that was so divided and hurt that he could use that against us. It has backfired he thought we would just keep giving and just take his bulling. He is learning many have left and he will soon too. There will be no money to pay him. All those bad people that were lost in Chad's eyes were also the ones that GAVE.

I guess nothing should even surprise me with Chad's post on the churches site. But to have him lie is even right before people and they still never see it. This Monday he posted that over the last two weeks of his post about being correct in his preaching he said that he had more comments than ever before. He even went on and said that ALL had names on them and ALL were positive. Well then I looked back at the post and they all said 0 comments. Hummmm then he begins to show negative post and he answers them. I do not think for one minute that anyone but him and Michele wrote these comments. They were so foolish. He used stupid examples as he did the week before in an attempt to show how people are lead to the Lord in Baptist churches. NOT! He used negative post that he said he did not get. I then looked at today's post and he had one comment praising what he just said and it was signed ANONYMOUS! WOW Chad said no one did that. Hummm. He lies so much and it is all starting to just get stupid. He even tried to put Adrian Rodgers in the same category as himself. Better think again Chad, you are not worthy to even dust his grave. He also posted that he had so many post on his Facebook and guess what I am friends with Chad on FB and he had a few but they are his regulars. Most of his hits on the churches site are from the ones who have left who just want to see if the people have woke up yet. Most of the members still attending don't even look at the churches site.

I posted a comment last week that I did not agree with him and that he was down sizing the ability of the Holy Spirit. I also said that if he believed that only a select were going to heaven then there would have been no reason for Christ to die. I did not get a response. I did not leave my name either so yes to last post Chad lied.

I asked a friend of mine who is still at Trinity about the web-site. She told me that she had never looked at it. To be honest most don't she said. She is also a friend of Chad and Michelle's on Facebook and so together we both looked back over the past two weeks and there were just a couple of comments made and they were from the same people who always post and there were about 6. There is another lie. She was reading all this blog when I left her last night. She probably had nightmares.

I went back and looked at Chad's post on bike week. He had a picture of a Harley Davidson and a caption that said "Come and enter for a chance to win this brand new Harley. All you need to do is give us 3 minutes of your time."

Chad that could have meant to show them their bikes, or to open an account or anything. It did not say that they could save you in three minutes. You are inferring and telling us what you want it to say.

I can not believe that people are falling for such nonsense. It does not take a rocket scientist to see this stuff is just his opinion. I am sure that some preachers have done just what Chad has said, but most all give an invitation and council each person.

As a child I walked an isle. I filled out a card and was baptized. No one questioned my decision or even asked me if I understood what I did. That happened over 40 years ago. When I was a young adult I was convicted by a sermon preached by a wonderful Man of God. He told me that God loved me and everyone so much that He sent Jesus to die for my sins. I was a Sunday School teacher, I sang in the choir, led children choir, I did everything and there was no way I could walk down and tell the staff that I was lost. I knew all the answers on how to be saved and I could do it and no one ever know, but God said no. So after a couple of weeks I walked down the isle and told the preacher I was lost and was counseled and PRAYED A PRAYER and I was saved. Most ALL churches do not just fill out a card anymore. You are talked with in a LOVING way and shown the gospel. All this to say Chad your a nut case. You can't understand that all we have to do is ask aka. PRAY. I have worshiped, worked, done anything needed of me and I did it willingly because of the LOVE I have inside from Jesus. Jesus died for ALL not just a chosen few. If everyone was predestined then WHY would Christ have had to die? Chad you are so WRONG and if you knew the love I have because of Jesus then you too would love others as well. I have enjoyed my time at Trinity and have loved the people so much. But with a sad heart and a broken heart I will be leaving with my family. Chad has gone and changed us without even asking. If he had we would have voted NO and he knows it, that is why he did it the underhanded way he did. I have tried to stay and understand your ways but I just can't take it anymore. My Christian walk and that of my families are far too important than that. Good bye Trinity and I hope your eyes are opened soon, this is really sad and I am not alone, many others will soon leave and so will be the end of Trinity.

There are two comments on Chad's newest post. They are both not signed and both very positive. If they were really from "REAL PEOPLE" then why would they NOT sign their names. The people who post such wonderful comments must know they will only get the highest praises from Chad and only make him happy. This leads me to think that maybe Chad posted them to show that people really love what nonsense he says or they were for someone who really loves Chad but does not want others to know that they are mindless as well. I think they were probably posted from Chad. If is funny that only after someone posted here that no one ever commented on Chad's blog that anonymous comments started to appear. WOW this means Chad does read these comments. It is just a shame he thinks he is so smart that he has nothing to learn from his mistakes.

BIG NEW SUNDAY NIGHT SERVICE!!!!
Chad says it is about all the new things planned for Trinity in the near future. He said it will be an information meeting but NO questions will be allowed from the floor. If you have a question they must be submitted in writing Sunday A.M. with "First and Last" name. They must have a biblical nature with the scripture verse to go with it. They will only answer the ones they feel are necessary and that have to do with the changes. Only positive I am sure.

There is NO way he wants a repeat of what the courageous Madison Street member with a backbone did.

I hear there may be another "uprising" to demand answers.

Remember, he loves those "standing ovations" so he can know how much support he thinks he has.

The only thing is, at Madison Street that support was non existent as reality settled.

I do feel that Chad thinks that he is a God or mabey he thanks that he is God.
How can a man that is called to a church and does not tell the truth about what he is going to do ever think that the Lord is not going to punish hin for this.
I pray for Trinity every night.
Does he think that the way he has done this that God is pleased with him?
I feel that his dad is but he does not have to answer to his dad at the end of his life,he has to answer to God int person of Jesus who died for him also.
The people that was used by him to run people off and upset others will have to answer for this too( j.h.) and others.

This is a No Win meeting . If we go and can't speak then Chad just thinks we are fine with it. If we don't go then everyone there will be his drones and he still thinks everyone is happy. See no win. Chad just only plays by the rules that make him look right. If you turn in a question that he does not like he just does not answer it. He just says he never saw it. Just like letters to see if we want our names removed from the roll he just does it and FYI he has been doing it since he got here. These names are never on the business meeting they are just removed. Chad is just a sick man with deranged visions of grandeur.

TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH IS NO LONGER A CHURCH!

It has become an 'ORGANIZATION'.

It is run by a TYRANT DICTATOR surrounded by weak, YES MEN.

That Sunday Night Meeting is Chad showing his muscle...

YOU BE HERE ON TIME!
YOU SIT!
YOU SHUT UP!
YOU LISTEN!
I'M IN CHARGE!
YOU KNOW MY RULES!
WRITE QUESTIONS, BUT DO IT MY WAY!
I'LL ANSWER WHAT I WANT TO!
I'LL TELL YOU MY PLANS FOR YOU!
IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, LEAVE!!

Sound familiar?...anything like his brags about how he handles his children??

Is this man the example of manhood and leadership that you want for your children?

THERE IS NO LOVE THERE!

BEING SOUTHERN BAPTIST IS OK!

YOU DON'T NEED 9 MARKS!

RUN! FLEE! Go serve GOD in a real church, with a real pastor where there is love, unity and you are respected as a Child of God and a member of the body of Christ.

God warned us of false teachers and wolves in sheep's clothing. This wolf isn't even bothering to pretend to be a sheep!

The Trinity we knew no longer exists and never will again. Each day is too precious to spend in that cesspool of drama and angst.

FLEE...AND GOD GO WITH YOU!

I pray for Trinity. As a former member it is so very sad to see the way that it has become and what the people of the church have been silent about and let take over their church. NEVER have I seen a church completely run by the Pastor. Isn’t that why we elect Deacons, so that this type of thing will not happen? Christ should be the head of the church. It makes me think quite a bit about Peter when he denied Christ three times. Oh church, how long will you stand by and watch as your Pastor leads you to deny what a true church should be? Please stand up for what is right. Do not sit under false teachings because of fear and rejection. You know what is right, and God would expect you to stand up for it! Stand firm on the Rock! Let your voice be heard…and let the dictators answer to God himself…

Deacons have been put in place by Chad and they make no decisions. The staff members have been made "Elders" and they will rule...we have been told. The Deacons are in name only and are just a front. To get the whole truth ask some of the in-active Deacons. Most of the active Deacons will not open their mouth. Two or three might but for the most part they don't have a clue as to what a "LIAR" Chad really is.

In other words TRINITY BAPTIST CHURCH HAS BEEN "HIGH JACKED" by Chad and last year when some asked for a meeting to ask the "DIRECION" he was taking Trinity we were told we could call a meeting and 3 Deacons were to meet with us WHEN MR.CHAD found out how the meeting had "SNOW"balled he had the Chairman of Deacons call and said to cancel the meeting that no one would be there to answer our concernments and we could not use the Church. Chad was not invited but he was aware we had asked for the meeting from dAY 'ONE"...

So most of us have left and are serving other Godly Churches with loving Pastors...
I am sorry for yor Pain and all the answers you don't have....

On the 9 marks site and other "googled" sited the 9 marks is a fast growing denomination or CULT. They prey on failing churches and churches that are having problems like Trinity was when Chad came (but no where as it is now) Chad came in and just like he had planned he went after the strong members. He ran them off and now has the members who either don't care or are brainwashed.

The 9 Marks movement will move in and start funneling in money and help out with all the bills. Chad came in like a Trojan Horse and just attacked from within and now with the strong gone Chad won!

MAny of the strong still at Trinity are hoping she falls before Chad wins. Stand up and say NO. Chad does not own us and he does not own Trinity. He is just a liar and he has a lying and evil wife. They both need to fall on their faces and repent they will answer to God and it will NOT be pretty.
