Leadership, in the Biblical sense, is about leading like Jesus did, right?
Jesus clearly stated that “the first shall be last,” and “the least among you shall be the greatest.”
When you call a pastor, be sure that his heart is not full of arrogance. Talk to those whom he has served with to ensure that the fruits of the Spirit have been displayed in his life. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are the fruits that should be very prevalent. If not, be careful, because he may not have a relationship with the Lord. There are few, truly, God called pastors today. The wolf can slip into your church just as easily from the pulpit as he can from the pew.
Jesus said to teach in truth and love. Truth is important, but if there is no love, the truth is not in him. Without truth, the law, there is lawlessness, but Jesus said love is the most important aspect of the Christian life. When love is revealed in one’s life, truth is second nature. It is not required to be forced on those that have the love of Christ flowing out of them. If a pastor shows love, then he can accomplish much, but if a spirit of arrogance and strife is all you see, then rebuke him. If he does not repent and change his ways, then show him the door.
How much longer, oh Lord, will you allow the wolf to ravage your flock? Trinity, you are in the prayers of many Brothers and Sister across this country. May God bless you beyond measure.

I so agree with this. I have gone to Chad for advice and all I got was I was lost. I did not even get the help I had sought. I explained I was a christian but he would not even listen to me. There is NO LOVE in him. Now he will not even talk to me as if I had a illness. He is the one sick. There is no love in him. How can someone have the same Jesus I have and no love? They can't.
And do not think he does not have a little black book he keeps on YOU when you talk to him.
It is something all those within the Baptist Mafia use against you later.
Nothing you say in that office is private. It is used as gossip within his circle of disciples and can and will be used against you later.

Yes, you warned us. Yes, we were wary. Yes, all the things we read about him were disturbing. Yes, many of us voted against him.
But, don't forget that our PSC questioned all the things that were blogged about and the silver tongued Mr. Everson convinced them that he was a VICTIM of a slander campaign that had nothing to do with him...just his family.
Then he did a number on our DEACONS, too. They thought he was the answer to having strong leadership that Trinity needed.
Neither they nor the congregation realized that we were being lied to in everything from the VICTIM thing to his Calvinism.
Let's face it, when good people want to trust and believe, they become sitting ducks.
Now, our problem is to see if there are enough people who love Trinity enough to resist this manipulative man. If not, he has another Byron & Starke and he'll stay here to rule and destroy until some other poor blind PSC comes along, offers him more bucks than Trinity is paying, and believes his 'victim' story.
We are nothing more than a stepping stone for him. He wants a big and rich church, and Trinity is becoming smaller and not so lucrative by the day.

I am tired of hearing Ha Ha Ha to us well I did not know about Chad until he was here and it was to late. Now we just have to figure out how to get him out and recover.
Yes we at Trinity voted Chad in. People from the Florida say they told us well I don't know who they told but it was not me or any of the people who would have checked him out and stopped him from coming. Now we have the main problem which is getting Chad out of Trinity and out of the ministry. That will not be easy. He wants to keep moving up the ladder and we are only a stepping stone. He lies and lies and has convinced people at Trinity and on Face Book that we are just out to get him. He is so deluded that I think he believes it himself. He has pulled so many cons that he believes his own lies. This is a very dangerous man. He even has the security staff at Trinity in place to protect him from crazies out to get him. This man has some real mental problems. This is not gossip Chad it is facts from the security staff.
Wonder who he will try to use to protect him when he faces GOD?
Him and his Dad Mike Everson and all their disciples will have a lot explaining to do when they face GOG at the judgment seat and you know what......
No security team will or can protect them, but they think they are immune

I am so sorry that you members of Trinity Baptist Church are suffering at the hands of Chad, Jeff and Jarod. Please be aware of their controlling ways especially your monies. They are known to mismanage the treasury. Chad will make you feel like a criminal, when in fact it is he that needs to be rehabilitated. I also need to mention that Michelle has a bad side as well-beware. Here in Georgia, Day Spring was known as a cult under his leadership. Now with the name of Shady Grove Baptist, the church is growing and God is restoring the faith of the people. The sooner he is gone the better you will be.
Thank you 10:13 This has been so hard we have gone from a pastor we loved to a pastor who was reserved and would not assocoate with anyone to Chad. We had such high hopes based on what the PSC told us. No one even knew his name until the week he came . They claimed it was for his protection with his oter church job. We now know it was because of his fear we would google his name and see for ourselves. Chad most of the people who are sucking up to you now are the same ones who yelled not to hire you. The reason we had a written vote was because the deacons and staff did not want you to know they voted NO on you coming. And in your own office well Debbie M. was one of the most vocal and now she just loves you. Well I bet she doesn't. I think you will soon be gone and I know there will be a big change in how the next man is voted on.
Bellvue minister Steve Gaines preached on Calvinism last sunday. It will be replayed (Memphis channel) 13 at 8 am.
Things at Trinity were so much better Wednesday night. The sermon was a great message from God's word and we listened to it. Why? Because Chad was not there and someone else preached. Chad was at home taking care of Michele who was as we were told very sick. We were told they were going to run test. I hope that if she is sick that God will heal her. I hope though that this is not Chad's way of gaining our sympathy. I have talked to people at his last church and Chad told them when he knew he was about to be fired that Michele had cancer. Soon after they found out that she did not and never did. He lied to gain the pity vote that kept him there until he came to TBC. I bet she is sick over Chad having to move their family yet again. At some point she has to know it is her husband and not everyone else.
I am sorry but Chad shows NO LEADERSHIP! A Godly man would gain respect by showing respect. I do not want a "Country Club Church" as Chad has called us but I do want a church where we can feel God's Love and Spirit there. I have not felt the Lord's presence in a long time. The ones that do teach with a servants heart and with love and not sarcastic you fire. Remember the golden rule treat others the way you want to be treated. As I can see from here you are reaping the harvest of your fruits. You are getting what you want us to do by your actions.

It was so good to hear a good sermon Wednesday night. To bad that not many people heard it. The attendance is so low now it looked like a ghost church. People are tired of Chad's spies. No one will even tell who is on his "Peace Makers Team" It is so hush hush and I can't understand it. The only reason I can see is that Chad knows no one will talk to them out of fear so he won't catch any sinners. I asked the only person I knew was on it and he refused to tell who else was on it saying he just could not remember. This person was one of the people who did not like Jett"s secrets. People are leaving or just staying home. Boy Chad your ways are so great.
The Sunday School is getting so bad people do not realize that Chad's new way to control us is that we will all meet in the worship center. Chad will appoint a "Master Teacher" of his choosing. That person will teach only what Chad wants taught. Then the groups will split up into groups of men in one and women in the other. These groups will be lead by a man or woman of Chad's choice. (you know men and women can't be together it is a sin) He will then have total control of everything said and heard. I wonder if we will all get copies of the choice of color dress code and style of clothes we are to wear. Ladies maybe we should not cut our hair or wear makeup. WAKE UP!! THIS IS A CULT!!!!
Thanks to whoever posted about the sermon on Calvinism from Bellevue Bapt. I went on their site and looked at the sermon notes. I will watch Sunday. Steve Gaines was so right on several points. One of the main ones was that a pastor who is Calvinist should be open when he goes to interview at a church and not sneak in and try to change them. I am sure that there are churches out there who are Calvinist based but they are small. They don't have the membership or money that the non-Calvinist churches have. So to make the money that they want to make they have to lie their way in. This is why they also never stay long and destroy the churches they left. Had Chad told us on the front end what he had planned for us he would still be in Florida. I won't say he lied to us but he did leave out his intentions and mislead us. One thing Steve Gaines said that I loved was the J.C. stands for Jesus Christ and not John Calvin. Treat us as Jesus treats His people and not how John Calvin did. I do not serve John Calvin or Chad Everson you two did not save me Jesus did.
Please leave Barney Fife out of this there is a BIG difference Barney is funny and Chad just makes us sick.
Say whatever you want but Trinity is NOT going to where everyone will meet in the worship center for Sunday School. Everyone is keeping their SAME Sunday school teachers and will split back into the exact same groups once the master-teacher(s) are finished. The Master-Teachers are all currently Sunday school teachers... Not people of Chad's choosing and there will be no women and men split.

People better worry about the money too last month we were over 8,000.00 in the red and no telling how bad it will be now. Please, people of Trinity, if you take nothing else away from looking in on this blog to see if you can find out what's happening at Trinity, please let it be that it encourages you to check out Calvinism for yourself. It is at the root of why Chad behaves the way he does.
You don't have to take the word of anyone else....please read up on it for yourself and make sure you understand what Chad has in store for Trinity.
He follows their model to a tee on how to take over a traditional Baptist church and turn it into a Calvinist church. They don't want to start from the beginning and build churches of their own. They hijack ones that have good size memberships, are well funded, and have members who are more focused on Christ than on church politics, then they have a field day. They act quickly in getting their staff and deacons in line, then they've got you.
Now that he has the Deacons (watch for how quickly they will be called 'Elders') brainwashed that it's ungodly to disagree with him and the staff so in fear of their jobs that they won't open their mouths, you have no representation as a body.
If Trinity is to resist, it's going to take a group of strong people with the courage to stand up and say, "No, you are not taking our church from us and we are not listening to your false doctrine" and then be willing to back it up.
Advocating withholding tithe from the local church is a hard thing to do, but that seems to be the only strength the membership of Trinity has now. The Deacons won't do anything about him, the staff won't do anything about him, and most of the members are in fear of the "Peacemakers" or facing Chad's "discipline" and being outsted from their home church. So...when the church can't pay his exorbitant salary, maybe he will just go away. It is obvious that he knows exactly who gives, who doesn't (as shown in those cute little letters they sent out after the building pay off campaign), but who cares. This is a free country, your church affiliation is, at last count, still a matter of freedom of choice and your giving is between you and the Lord. The Lord told us to be good stewards of all His blessings to us. Is funding the efforts of "wolves in sheep's clothing" being a good steward?
Truth is not gossip...and the truth, even though Everson is not bold enough to tell you himself, is that he is Calvinist (decide for yourself if you believe that stuff or not), that he treats people calously, he's arrogant and bullheaded, won't listen to anyone, and is going to rule you with an iron fist and have his way or else. He spouts all this open door policy and he would eat your lunch if you ever tried to have a civil conversation with him that is not in full agreement with everything he wants. So much for the things we all hope for in a pastor....love, caring, respect, openness and to teach the true Gospel.
Educate yourselves...you are going to need it. The Calvinism sermon by Steve Gaines, Bellevue Baptist Church, is already up on their website, bellevue.org. On the main page, click on the graphic on the right side of the page (the one showing the typewriter with "For God so loved the world" above it). Gaines is a staunch anti-Calvinist and a Bible scholar. It will enlighten you, if you are seeking.
This issue is tearing the SBC apart and, as a Baptist, it will affect you whether you want it to or not.

I was the one who posted before and as a member of Trinity for the past 14 years this is heart wrenching. I have been researching Calvinism I see that Chad's ways are exactly as Steve Gaines said that John Calvin was. I think that pastors may look to model themselves like Billy Graham or Adrian Rogers but when it is down to basics they are the way God wants them to be and God uses their differences for His will. Chad preaches just like John Calvin and believes just as he does. Jesus came for ALL not SOME. Jesus loves ALL. Chad you need to search your heart I think you need my J.C. not yours.

Thanks for the recommendation of the Gaines sermon. It was a blessing. To hear someone give an honest assessment, backing it up with scripture, of something that is causing so much angst in the SBC is encouraging. (By the way, the first link to the Calvinism message is on the left side of the homepage, then the sermon and notes are on the next screen.)
He handled it in a godly manner, saying that Calvinists are not our enemies, rather brothers and sisters in Christ who hold beliefs that we do not.
If a pastor holds those beliefs, he should stand boldly and say so and not be deceptive about it. Anything that is worth believing is worth admitting. Calvinism puts forth a whole different interpretation of WHO GOD is!
A congregation should be worthy of being told the truth about its pastor's theology and that of its teachers and leaders.

Just checked the sight, on advice of a friend, and all I can say is WOW!! We were always told that this was a personal bash sight, written by a madman in his mother's basement. I see there are concerned members using it as a legitimate forum, though.
Chad's new sunday school agenda IS socialized religion. Obama would be proud. When I first heard about it, the first thing I thought about was healthcare reform. If you don't like it, he will gladly tell you to leave. You are not one of the "predetermined". "You are lost". The only "Master Teacher" is sitting on the right side of my Father now. Chad wants a small church body of dedicated followers, and could care less about anyone who has poured their life into Trinity. He will cut all ministries before decreasing his salary, and gladly allow anyone who doesn't agree with he and michelle's personal doctrine to leave. The former staff didn't, and they should be an example to all. Were they lost? Longtime, upstanding members don't, and they have had their church family kidnapped from them.
I'm not trying to stir up trouble, just stating facts.
A lot of these posts are TRASH, and those who are writing it should repent. I pray that the majority of church members will stand up, and make Trinity what it once was in our community.
There are as many churches on Goodman as restaurants, and I know they all preach the Word and have a love and compassion for fellow believers. Many of the loyal, hardworking Trinity members are visiting now, trying to see where God may be leading them, and hoping for a positive change at Trinity. I pray that God will soon answer their prayers.
Another piece of information on Calvinist- many Calvinist are now calling themselves "Reformed" or the "Reformed Church"- Calvinism has such a bad reputation that they want to sound better by changing the name.
Also, I don't even think John Calvin would agree with the Calvinist movement today. They are more "Calvinist" than HE WAS! They are taking to extreme a few of his beliefs.

Michele told me herself that this site was started by a lost demented person who was just out to destroy Chad for no reason. So I am a person who prays and researches things so I started to read things from what was done at Chad's other churches and guess what? It was like a road map to what was happening here. When I asked I encountered hate and anger for just asking which told me that the things must be more fact than fiction. I dug more. I was told I was lost and I was full of evil and I was responsible for all the problems at Trinity. Well in reading some of the blogs and talking to other church members I found that the choir officers were all Trinity's problems ,some of the senior adults were, some of the S.S. teachers were and so on. Why has Trinity functioned all these many years as a loving church that saw all the salivations and lives changed with all us evil people here? We have over the years seen God move and had so much joy here and now Chad is just taking it all away. The church attendance is so low. What we had last Sunday morning in church used to be what we had on a Wednesday night. Oh I can see where people may think Chad is the right man with the fruit he shows. Chad is NOT the man he sold himself to be and we screwed up bringing him here. But it is now the time to suck it up and do what MUST be done. Chad MUST GO! If a few of his followers get upset and leave then so be it, but I know most of them and they will follow the next man around just as well. They will recover. But if he does not leave soon I don't know if there will anything left to save.
Keep on posting Chad can't know who you are unless you tell him or post your name. Please people more and more people are looking. One year ago I started looking here and there were just under 11,000 hits on this site now there are over 50,000. These are people just like you. Chad reads it to and post here. He must see that it is not just a couple of people that are upset it is hundreds. We have lost more people in the past year that several years combined. Good Godly people. Some are at other churches and are now happy. Some are just sitting back waiting for things to change. Some may never come back to church. According to the way Chad believes these people were never supposed to be saved that is HOGWASH! Jesus died for ALL. Not only the ones Chad says are O.K. Believe it or not God does not have to have approval from Chad to accept you into Heaven. We are saved by God's Grace and thank goodness not Chad's.
Post here Chad needs to see how we feel. We can't talk to him about anything but we can type it here. But even if you choose not to every one please PRAY and PRAY HARD. God does not like His children abused as we are being and justice is HIS!
I can promise, the people that started this blog are not lost and are not demented. I can also tell you that the people they accuse of starting this blog have never been contacted by this coward or his blind followers. He just accuses. This man, his wife, and his followers all need to practice what they “preach.”

I know as a married person with children I would never make up such things as my loved one has cancer for fear it might come true. Chad must really fear his power more than he loves his wife.
I am very upset over just hearing about this conference he took the staff to. All this for them to learn how to hate like Chad does. We do not have the money for this nonsense. Chad tells us to not take vacations and not to buy a new house or car. Amazing he took his wife on a cruise and bought a new house even before selling his one in Florida that I hope we are not still paying for. Now taking trips with our money no it is God's money. Chad is now being forced to pay the interest on the church building he was not doing that until just the past few months. We need an audit done now. We are the stockholders and should be told what is being spent and for what. Chad needs his blank check stopped.

That is a great question. I think he did not realize we were Southern Bapt. when he came. He talks so bad about them. I know the PSC told him we were but he must not have listened. I am also amazed that today in the church bulletin the names of the Peace Makers team were listed. Funny how Chad says there is nothing to this site but he reads it and does what he can to fix it (if he wants to) real quick. He knows he is wrong.
Trinity WAS a Southern Baptist Church B.C. (before Chad). At this point, he has so many people blinded, scared and bullied until it will become whatever he wants it to be. It's disgusting.

I just do not know how long Trinity will be able to keep her doors open. The attendance was so low this past week and there were only about 30 in the choir. Oh my the best thing about it was with the temperatures so HOT outside it was very cold inside. You can also get a close parking spot. Thank you PSC most of you weren't even here. You can't even stomach him anymore. He is so busy getting rid of our Godly members and Sunday School teachers that Michele doesn't like but no one will return the favor and fire him. Thanks
I totally agree! But I think Chad will be happy when all that is left in the service is the maybe 150 people who might still like him. That is the deacons, staff, and his family. He wants to be the king of the church and could care less about his poor subjects as long as they pay his taxes. Where is Robin Hood when we need him.
Another observation about Sunday at Trinity:
I. The parking lots...full before BF time. After service...empties all over the place. Hmmmmm....why?
II. There was a conspicuously empty pew...left of center aisle, second row...a rarely ever vacant spot where a precious couple with the sweetest servant natures has been for years. Hearts ache for you!
III. Also sad...our vast choir loft with exactly 34 seats filled. Those people give much of their time and talent for the glory of God. So sad that so many, who poured so much into Trinity, are now gone.

Please I know that Michele was ill last week because the hospital would have not kept her.But what she has gets bad with stress. The stress that her husband is bringing on. He keeps on getting them all but run out of churches. He does not care that he has made many here sick as well for having to leave the church they love. I am sorry Michele that you are doing bad and I will lift you up but this will not make what Chad is doing right or alright with us. You have played this game before and just like the boy who cried wolf now we don't believe you. Can it be that all these churches are not wrong and it could be you? My prayer is that GOD do something immaculate and all inspiring to reveal and expose to the Eversons, those within the Baptist Mafia, and their evil Demon Disciples that their wicked ways are not of him.
It will take GOD's disciplining hand to bring them, and I mean all of them, back to him.

Maybe this prayer is happening right before our eyes...
It does sometime take GODS disciplining hand to wake up those who have drifted.......
I pray for all eyes to open. Ours and theirs as well. At sometime Chad must see that is so off base. We at Trinity must see that we need to trust God and also not trust what one person says we must check out a man and not allow in another wolf. I am not saying I want Chad to stay but I hate it for the next church to have to pay three house notes. Chad don't finish unpacking your house we ALL want you gone and I speak for several hundred people.
It's amazing how many long-time Baptists don't even know what Calvinism is. Deacons, please....do two things for the sake of Trinity:
1. First, educate yourselves on Calvinism, if you are not already thoroughly versed in what that theology teaches.
2. If Chad denies that he is Calvinist, look at all the evidence right before your eyes that he is. Has he admitted it to the Deacon body or to the staff? If so, why is the membership not important enough to share in that knowledge?
If we all leave, who will fund the church?
Is it fair for him to walk in, preach to us that we are lost if we don't give sacrificially, then tell us it's "none of our business" who and what he is and that we are just to do as we are told??
Evidence that he is:
His recommended reading list - Every author is Calvinist.
His Blog: Look at the people he says inspire him. Look at the reading materials he recommends. Look at the blogs he recommends you read. Look at the sermons he encourages you to read. Then look at the theology connected with every one of them.
Where he goes: T4G...if he was not Calvinist, why on earth would he want himself and most of the staff to go to this thing...spend money Trinity can't afford...and sit through a conference under the teaching of the top Calvinists in the nation? www.t4g.org will give you an eyeful and and earful, if you are interested.
If you don't have a computer, ask someone who does to print off some things for you. See with your own eyes...you don't have to believe gossip or rumor. It's all in plain sight and verifiable.
Check out the theology of his father. Check out the theology of his brother. Each of these things should have been checked BEFORE we hired him, but it's not too late. Have you never heard the expression, "where there's smoke, there's fire"? Words mean things.
Detractors who invest the time and effort that this blog administrator does, aren't "deranged madmen out to destroy families". They are probably desperate to prevent others from going through the same mistreatment and disrespect that they've endured. They've been hurt badly by someone! Wouldn't you want someone to yell "fire", if you were on fire?
The most disturbing part of all of this is that our pastor will not be honest and stand before this church and proclaim his beliefs. What is he ashamed of? There are many godly people who have been detoured into that false belief, but at least most of them have the courage to defend it. Why is he waiting to tell us...?...perhaps when he has so much control that we will be powerless to do one thing about it??
There are two questions that need to be answered and they are very simple.
1. Does Trinity want to be a Calvinist congregation?
2. Does Trinity want a pastor who omits the single most important fact about his ministry...what he believes?
Dr. Everson, trust is vital to any relationship. Will we ever be able to trust you on any issue if our relationship with you began like this? Do you even care?
The Trinity members who are not disturbed about this must be choosing to bury their heads. Ignorance may be bliss, but it's an expensive habit. Truth sometimes hurts, but before a problem can be solved, it must be faced and it's time to face this or Trinity is going to be destroyed from the inside and you are paying the destroyer to do it!

Is anyone as tired of the obsession with "preference" as I am?
It is even creeping into the public prayers said to open and close our services.
IMO, when one person must forego his "preference", doesn't that mean that someone else is free to exercise his own "preference"?
In that scenario, there is a winner and a loser. Does that fit in church?
Wouldn't compromise so that everyone could have just a little of what they "prefer" be a better idea?
It feels like it's just another way of saying, "sit down, shut up, pay up, do it our way or leave"...and oh yes, "then come back an apologize to us that you left".

Oh My Chad. Last year when you and your wife were blasting me in e-mails I still have. You were so full of a hateful spirit then and it has not changed.I told you I would not keep telling people about this site and I did what I said and people are finding it anyway. You are sending people looking for themselves out of being desperate to understand you reasons for putting all of us through all of your rants. No One here did anything to you we welcomed you and your family with opened arms and this is how you repay us. You scream and blame us for things you were told. That's not a direct quote...just a compilation of comments that people have said they were told by Everson when he was explaining the existence of this and other blogs that criticized him.
The words "deranged" and "madman" have been said by others, but I have not personally heard Chad use those words.
I did hear him say that there was a guy (there was a descriptive word used about the guy...can't remember exactly the word, so won't guess at it) at his dad's former church in Georgia, who has made it his goal to destroy Chad and his family.
In any case, Chad did convince key people that it was all an attack thing and he was the victim. You know for yourself, he can be convincing and he apparently did well defending himself.

Our church will stand up and save itself from being destroyed

No Chad will never learn you would think after all he has put his family through he would learn but here he goes again. Most women would have divorced their husband after all this. I guess she just likes all the drama too.
The decision to leave Trinity was one of the hardest Clarence and I have had to make in all our 16 years of marriage. I am posting one comment on this blog and that is all so that no one can say something that may have been mis-reported about why we are leaving.
When Bro. Chad came to Trinity Clarence and I felt we should trust our Search Committee on their decision. They were all people that we had known for many years, loved and trusted. We had some reservations about their choice but decided to vote yes based on their recommendation.
Over the past few months there have been some things that Bro. Chad has said and taught that I have not agreed with. We have been concerned about the direction he was going and certainly concerned about how many of our Church Family have left. We have stayed through all the bad times and I thought would be there until we went to Heaven.
We were asked to teach a Singles Class shortly after we got married in Feb., 1994 and have been there until now. It has been a ministry to us more than a Sunday School Class. We have both been divorced and came to Trinity where we found loving people that had experienced the same tragedy that helped us heal and we wanted to do the same for others. Clarence and I have poured our lives into the Singles Ministry for many years. I know that it has been said that Bro. Chad fired me from my Class but that is not true. I had several people that did the right thing and called me. Bubba called me the Thursday before the Teacher's Meeting and told me that all the men would be taken out of my class because I could not teach them. I told him that I had 3 couples in my class that were dating and would not want to be separated. He finally agreed for me to continue to have the women and Clarence to take the men. The problem with that is that it is very difficult for Clarence to do all the walking up and down the halls that would be involved with the new way of conducting Sunday School. I have never considered that to be MY Class - it has always been OUR Class. Clarence may not stand up and do all the teaching, but he is involved in the process and discussion in our class. The men in our class look up to him and look to him for spiritual guidance. Bubba told me that they needed to be under a Godly man and I don't believe there is one any where any more Godly than my Husband. That is why I married him and he has never disappointed me. It did hurt my feelings deeply when Bubba said that to me and I will not deny that. Clarence has been just as much their teacher as I have through the years. He spends hours every day praying for each of them individually, emailing them and planning for all of our many fellowship activities. I went home that afternoon and told Clarence what Bubba had told me. We talked, cried, prayed and talked some more and decided the time had come to leave. I have also had some differences of opinion with Michele regarding the Women's Ministry Team. We do not agree with many things and rather than become a trouble maker it would be better to find another place to serve our Lord. I called Jerebeth that afternoon and resigned my position on the women's ministry team and we told our class on Sunday.
My Dad taught doctine classes at Bellevue for many years and taught it in our home. I believe we should all know what we believe and be able to prove it with scripture so we will know when we are being taught things that are not true. That is the prayer for my class and the scripture that I read to them. That is my prayer for Trinity Baptist Church.
Where ever the Lord leads we will follow.

Thank you Ann I want to thank you for all that you have meant to all the people at Trinity. Just another example of a Godly couple who have poured their lives into Trinity to just be allowed to leave. No one wants to be biblical and go to them and try to be a "Peace Maker". Chad practice what you preach. As far as the woman's ministry that has been said since the first day Michele came in. She took over the holiday dinner and everything from that point on. Only the people she wanted could work. This MUST stop. Chad is not being Biblical. What does the Bible say about leaving your offering on the alter and making a mends with those you have hurt or have problems with, well doesn't it Chad? You scream at us all the time and then REFUSE to comply with the commands God gives. He wrote all those verses for the Everson's too.
I am so hurt for the way our class was just ripped apart. The Lunceford's are the most dedicated and Godly people I know. They have helped me far more than Bro. Chad ever would. I will be at Longview Heights Bapt. this Sunday. They have a ministry for singles and they have a pastor who loves the members and is there to preach about salvation as well as helping us Christian's to grow. You scream every Sunday about people being lost and then could care less what you do to us. I will go and I am so sorry that you think I should apologize for what? you ruining us No you need to apologize to us and all the people from your past you have spiritually murdered. Oh I know you don't care if I leave but I will take my $600.00+ tithe with me. I know that will get your attention it is the only thing you care about. Deacons you better step up it is your duty to protect the church and you are failing BAD.

Thank you so much for posting the truth about how you and dear Clarence were treated and why you feel you have to find another church home. You have eliminated a lot of wondering, conjecture and you have left no room for the spin we would have gotten from the 'big guys' (aka Chad and Puppets) on what happened.
That empty pew you two precious people faithfully filled for so long, was sadly empty Sunday. Many of us noticed and hurt for you. When pillars of the church are mistreated this way, the rest of us are given a preview of what will happen to us if we get an inch off the line that Chad had drawn for us to walk.
As much as we will miss you, we totally understand why you cannot continue under the tyranny that exists at Trinity.
Many of us will be joining you soon, if the Deacons (can't say "our deacons any longer...they are Chad's now) do not take a stand very quickly, stop this madness and let Trinity decide if it wants to be led by a dictatorial, belligerent, Calvinist pastor. Why they remain loyal to a destroyer like Everson and turn their backs on their church family...their friends...is a total mystery. It's like they are hypnotized by this man.
Your dedicated, sacrificial,loving service to the Lord and the many people whose lives you have touched, has not gone unnoticed. You are loved, appreciated and will be missed so much.

Everson, if the treatment given those people by you and your spineless minions is your way of 'purifying' Trinity, you had better strap on the boots, buddy, because you have a few more of the faithful to go.
Perhaps in the past, you've been able to wipe out all the mean old "troublemakers" (aka...those who didn't drink the Kool Aid) by coming up with some biblical reason to kick them to the curb, but it may not be that easy this time.
The baggage you took to Trinity is getting heavier. One of these days, you may have to look in your mirror and realize the problem with all those "troublemakers" is YOU.
Your actions are creating a lot more garbage for the next PSC to find if they have good sense and know the word, "Google". Maybe that next one will pay attention to the red flags and check you out.

5. I am the worst of sinners. I lie to protect myself, my position, and my salary. Its all about ME. My wife is in it with me, and also has no remorse for what she does to others to protect us. He may be able to say he is sorry to his boys but NO ONE ELSE. He could care less all the people he has hurt and all he wants to do is stomp on us every chance he can. Poor Michele may be hurting but she can at least take pills to stop her pain. The ones you are destroying have to learn to accept that their friends and family just sat back and allowed it to happen. There are no pills they can take. I don't know how y'all sleep at night. If I were that evil I would be afraid to close my eyes for fear of what God may do.

Just read the Chad Blog and what I can't understand is that Michele was over some part of the Children's ministry and poor Chad had to cover it while she was so sick. We have Jeff and a boatload of workers being PAID and Michele should not be in charge of it.Chad brought Jeff with him to run the children and for what money spent and not much to show for it.What is wrong with this picture? Chad and Michele have taken over all parts of TBC. Women's , Children's, Youth, now Singles maybe soon he will run the whole service an finish the choir off and run it too. This is just to much I don't see how we will go on much longer.

I wish I had known that Chad skipped out on church Wednesday night I would have gone. Most preachers won't tell when they are going to be out because people would stay home. That would not be the case at Trinity. If we knew then we would all go. When Chad is gone the church would fill up. That should tell you something Chad.... Only a few, a very few like you and want you there.

Sorry but I will keep Brad but have you looked at the choir? Jon only has about 30 - 35 members left. Sorry he must go or do the job he was hired to do and I don't see it happening because he does not know how.
Don't blame Jon- he's not the one running off choir members- that would be CHAD
Then the staff that is having problems doing their jobs because of Chad's orders MUST go to the personnel committee and deacon's and tell them what has been written here for going on TWO years. Then maybe they would listen. The choir is down to almost a praise team.....Then Chad would be so unhappy because HE told the church when HE came that HE LOVED the choir. LIAR! Sorry I see Jon as another drown doing Chad's bidding.
After reading Chad's blog last week I just want to leave Chad with one thought. I am so glad that the people of Trinity have given you the love and caring that we have waited for you to show to us. We have loved and done everything to help your family happy and all you do is spit on us. I am so glad the wonderful people were taught by such Godly people before you came. You are reaping the fruits of real leadership from real Godly men and women. Even the ones you have run off. You are so sad and you won't be happy until you make all of us sad. I have to disagree with your comment that Jon is not running off choir members. I was a choir officer who was accused of the same things that Chad accused the officers of by Jon. After that happened and I was tired of hearing Chad berate every religion that believes in Jesus Christ, including the Baptist, from the pulpit, I had enough. Chad is a Pharisee who beats you with the law but never learned the Love that Jesus provided through the new covenant.
