The Bible is clear that God alone judges by seeing our hearts, so when we have to correct another, we must be very careful:
"Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted" (Galatians 6:1).
Personally, if you think you are Spiritual in the first place, then you may have a humility problem to begin with. So approach the person as someone who is just as dirty as they, but someone who is willing to work to a closer relationship with God, together.
The core problem that I have witnessed is that when a “pastor” teaches on how to deal with sin in other people’s life, no one will examine that teaching or that teacher in light of Holy Scripture even though they claim to be teaching Scripture.
Scripture itself exhorts us to do so when it says, "dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1).
This is to those of you who have listened to and followed the teachings of false prophets such as the eversons. If now all of a sudden you find a different interpretation by another teacher or pastor, then you must still measure that against God’s Word. Allow God to be your teacher. Stop following the beliefs of the Baptists or the Catholics or the Methodists. Get one on one with God. He is the Great Teacher and He wants a relationship, not a visit from you on Sundays.
You have seen a fellow servant of the Lord sign his writings with, following God, not man. You too should do so. Blogs, commentaries, and teachings from solid Christians can all be good resources that might give you that author’s perspective, but there is nothing better than time in God’s Word and prayer and meditation on who God is and what He wants for you in this life.
Keep marching on Brothers and Sisters, the skies will reveal Him coming in all His Glory one day. All of the evil in the world will be overcome. My God is faithful to complete the work He has started in us.

He is lucky his judgments and slander have not cost him anything yet.
It may take a Lawsuit to shut this loud mouth up.
What would be even better is Christ grip his heart and change this lost preacher man.
I am not sure where you are getting that "people hate to be here and are afraid." And if that is really true that people "hate" to be there, they have the choice to leave and find another place to worship. I am an adult and if I hate doing something I probably would stop. The truth seems to be that those people LOVE to keep coming so they can look and find something to be angry about so they can keep this blog alive. In other words, they would rather come to Trinity, stay mad, and then gripe and complain. Interesting. If that is not true, why do they keep coming to a place they "hate"...I am just saying. Also, if they are living in hate and fear yet claim to be spiritually correct,-both those characteristics are against the scripture. Adding to the hate and fear,complaining and gossip and now you have things totally opposite to what the word says is spiritual maturity. So they choose this way of living and point their finger at everyone else. Another action that the word has said not to do...well there you go.
I am not afraid anymore I left and I am so happy I did. There is joy in my life again. Jesus died for ALL and not just the elect. Wake up people and just leave that building to crumble and be happy.
That is one of the best comments I have seen on this field of negativity seeds. LEAVE! And if you are not going to leave, then do something productive besides posting junk on this blog.
You can call it negative all you want, but as long as he is the pastor, it might as well be dust. God is accepting no offering from him or Trinity as a church, remember, our prayers don't get beyond the ceiling in the baptist world if we are out of His will, right?
Those of you sitting around waiting on him to leave is ridiculous. He is not going anywhere with that slary and benefits package. He knows he can't get it again with his exposure.
If you really want to be the ones to hold it together after he leaves, then run his sorry tail off. Then you can be the men and women that God is calling you to be.

We need to get back to our first love and Chad needs to learn LOVE. He can't say he loves Christ but hates us. God would never call a pastor to abuse and attack HIS people. Chad is so out there frankly I don't know if he could ever find his way back to Christ. I feel that Jesus has left the church and until the membership turns back to Him He will not return.
Chad needs to spend his time in God's word and so does Michele and the rest of his followers. They spend a lot of the time they are paid for looking here. Why? Maybe it is because he gets off on all this. Chad enjoys all this drama and really enjoys knowing the people he is hurting and upsetting. Chad is a sick man and he serves the god of this world and not the true God. He can't love God and be so hate filled.
I have talked to many friends who are still at Trinity and all of them said that today was the best service they had been in in months.... Amazing I thought until I found out that Chad did not preach a guest speaker did. Now he was one of "Chad's Approved" speakers but he did have a great message. One thing I heard was that he cleared up something.... This person had been confused about much of what Chad had been saying and the speaker cleared it up "Satan is the author of confusion". He knew this but it took someone else to help him realize that Chad was causing the confusion and where it was coming from. Satan is using Chad and I don't know if he knows it or not or if he really cares.
He better start caring because the giving was down to about $25,000.00 last week and the church must have $57,000.00 just to make budget. I'll bet when he doesn't get paid it will clear up his vision. Good Luck Chad!
I have a confession to all of you who have posted here about the concerns at church. I was told about this site and I just blew it off. I felt that God must have brought Bro.Chad here or else he would not be here. I thought that if you weren't happy just leave. Well I am so sorry. I was very wrong. About two months ago I was told by a dear friend about this site and asked to read it. I argued with him and told him he had a heart problem and just needed to get right with God and talk with Bro. Chad. About a week after that I did look at this site. I could not believe what I was reading. I understood that many things came from members of his past churches and did not concern us but then all the others did. I could feel the broken hearts and also the anger from people who were so happy he was coming and now feel as the were stabbed in the back. I tried to shake it off and continue to attend Trinity I began to pray and then a small voice told me to start watching and listening to Bro. Chad. I did and I guess like so many others I had been tuning him out because I was just stunned at his mean spirited ways. It was like I was hearing him for the first time. I went home and cried and prayed for several days. Then I thought that maybe I was wrong and I should ask them about all of this. OH BOY! MISTAKE!
I went to Michelle who exploded on me. She told me I was lost for even looking at these sites. They were made up by people who were lost and who just live to hurt Chad's ministry because they know he is right. I was told to get my heart right. I tried to apologize for hurting her feelings by asking and she was so angry at me that she told me I should leave the church if I even looked and I have sinned against them and I needed to go before the church to make it right and leave. I was in shock. I knew in my heart that with her out burst and anger that most on this site was right. I have been in church most of my life and I have never had this happen before. I tried to tell her I was not lost and I was saved and she told me I was just full of sin and needed to be saved. I did not understand what salvation was and I had it all wrong. Like most of the membership of Trinity did. I asked her why they came here if they thought we were so bad she would not answer she just said I needed to leave.
That was almost a month ago. I went back to church one time since then and I was shunned by her. Chad would not even speak when I tried to shake his hand he turned his head and walked away. I have left now.
I just think that everyone should understand that just because he came and preached a good sermon and the PSC liked him does not mean he is from God. In the end days there will be many preaching in God's name who He does not know. Chad and Michelle are mean and please use caution when approaching them. I did not have a whiteness because I was just going to have a quite conversation with her as they have requested we do. I was so wrong.
Please forgive me? I hope that many people start to open their eyes and soon he will be gone.
To 7:14, I am not Michele. I know who she is and I have very few verbal exchanges with her. I don't know why when someone posts something that you don't like you try to nail someone like Michele or Chad or some one else as the person who wrote it. I am a member of Trinity. I have been a member for years. Yes, at some time along they way you may have invited me, but I joined because I felt God led me to do so. That does not mean I own Trinity and neither do you. I am a part of the body and desire to be productive as an active member. I tithe because I choose to obey God who owns all that I posses. I do not tithe to bless my church or hold my tithe to punish my church. I tithe because I love God and want to obey Him. All I want to know is if you choose to be a member of Trinity, what is your role....to curse and condemn the future of its existence or to encourage and build up the body? If there is no where in the word that says you should leave, is there ANYWHERE in the word that says you own the right to tear down and attack the church. If there is then you are doing a great job. If you are going to be a part, and want to stay, then quit tearing it down and posting how awful it is, and how people should run the pastor off,and don't tithe, and look for a reason to get a lawyer. Come, be a part and start to produce some fruit according to the scripture. The majority of what is posted on here is totally opposite. If that is all you can do, then yes, find some place where you can be a part and be productive for eternity.
I waited for Michelle and when I found her alone I asked her. (I just did not want others to hear me for her sake) She exploded at me. She told me I was lost for even looking at this site. She said it was people like me who were destroying Trinity and that I needed to leave. I explained that I was just coming to them like Bro. Chad had told us to do and she still told me I was lost. She said this site was started by men who hated Chad because he was right and they were lost and mad about it. I tried to apologize for hurting her and she told me that I had to tell Chad I was sorry and go before the church for my sins. It was up to the church to decide. I tried to explain I was only asking her and not posting or asking others but she insisted my heart was full of sin and I had to get saved and then I had to leave. Like most of the members of Trinity I just did not get what real salvation was. We have it so wrong. I was alone and had no wittiness to all this nonsense so I left. I went back to Trinity only one more time. Chad would not look at me or talk to me when I went up to shake his hand. He just glared at me and turned away.
I have since left Trinity and now understand that what the Bible says about the end days having so many who will be preaching in God's name and not even knowing God.
Just because someone has the right answers and they preach a good sermon. Just because the PSC likes them does not mean they are of GOD. Chad and Michelle are not. I totally feel we got it wrong with them. There is no way that someone can say they love God and look at me with such hate in her eyes. I did what Chad has told us to do "Don't gossip just ask them" Well I am here to tell you don't listen to that garbage he and she will turn on you like a snake and will strike out at you and just like me you will just stand there stunned and in shock . It sounded more like an angry parent on a ball field not a pastors wife.
I am so sorry to all of you who I have doubted over all of this and my heart breaks with you now. I understand your pain and will keep praying for Chad and Michelle so that my heart doesn't get hard like theirs.

I feel that Chad is wrong for us not because I think I own it but because I have been in the word and know the Bible. I am not wanting to tear down the church but I have see Chad and Michele go after people and talk to fellow members like they are trash. I am the one who said Michelle to your post but the word "Interesting" is something she says. You have the right to love Chad and stay at Trinity I also have the right to NOT like him and stay as well. Chad came in here ans started pushing us around. He has no intention to pastor us he wanted to bully us. Sorry I am tired to hear for me to leave I am not and you can deal with that.
I am simply brokenhearted over this site. I don't see a need for it honestly. I know that about 95% of you have not spoken to Chad about your issues with him, and honestly, I think some of your stories are made up. I have gone to Michele before with concerns, and there was not shunning or "you must not be saved" talk. They are not that way! I think if you have really, honestly talked with them, you would know that too. I know you all think you are doing something in God's name for Trinity or whatever church you are a part of, but this negative, disruptive talk doesn't represent Christ well at all, really! I think the disheartening part is that some of you still sit in the pews and smile at other people as if everything is ok...until you get to your home & get on this blog. You say "your eyes were opened" after reading this, but I think your focus was just changed to trying to find anything negative. I'll be honest, after I first saw this site, I was very curious & skeptical towards our pastor. So I committed it to prayer (not looking at the blog, gossiping about it with my friends, or watching Chad for mistakes). After much prayer, the Lord has renewed my heart and the days at Trinity haven't been better! I've been there for many years and seen many pastors come & go. It truly was a revelutionary moment when I was convicted about my heart. I'm not there to serve a man. I'm there to serve & glorify God. This is not Chad or Michele, or any other staff member or deacon. This is not "Chad follower" or any of the such. I serve a risen Savior, and I'm proud to say I'm a part of the body of believers at Trinity. Amazing things are going on there with the people, and I pray that you are seeking HIS will above all else.
And as far as the service this week, it was incredible. Sunday morning & Sunday night. Sunday morning was exactly what Chad has been speaking about for the last few weeks. Regeneration. It was quite encouraging and refreshing. I pray that each of you that are negatively talking on here really take into consideration what your goal/purpose is. Is it to destroy Chad? Is it to destroy Trinity? Is it to destroy Christ? Is it to destroy you? You say it's to "save YOUR church," but I don't know how you think any of this negativity will help. Our doors are always open, and I pray in love that your heart will be convicted of this gossip & negativity, and it all will stop. I don't know if the Lord has called you to stay or go from Trinity, but I do know that as Christians there's no way he's called you to tear down a body of believers. Please take my words with love - no judgment was behind them.

Dear Heartbroken like you really are.... Until you have been attacked by Chad or Michele or both don't just say that all these stories are made up. Go and talk to the people attacked and bullied. If you talked to him and that is what he said is it possible that he lied. He has to others so what has made you so special that he choses to tell you the truth. I heard a wonderful message at an awesome BAPTIST CHURCH today. The pastor said that Integrity is something that we should all have. His points were simple we should ALL (including Pastors) have integrity. We should all walk the walk and not just talk the talk.
He also said that a Pastor who uses his church title or God to abuse others has NO INTEGRITY! No ONE should use God or Church or hurting and abusing others as a way to gain power and money. Chad you have NO INTEGRITY!
There are so many churches out there with pastors and leaders who LOVE their church membership. They are not there for just a paycheck. If you want to see where Chad is then cut his pay. You will see!
I am still at Trinity but don't like Chad or his hateful ways. Why can't someone help. The money is down to $20,000.+ per week. We can't pay the bills not to mention Chad's salary for long. Many are hoping Bro. Jim takes over LaBelle Haven because about 200 plus members would leave Trinity. The fact is only about 100 people really like Chad. I know I am an insider to the inner circle. I don't like him either but a few of my friends do. They don't know how I feel or they would turn on me. I know Chad and Michele instructed us to do this to another. We were told to not be unequally yoked with an person not "like-minded".
I know that Bro. Jim might not want to go there for fear of what it might do to TBC but in fact it will help her. It would also help the members who go with him. These are good Godly people who NEED Bro. Jim BAD. They have been hurt so bad by Chad. This might make Chad leave.
The comment at 11:03 was sad but true. I was in a ladies Bible Study with Michele leading it. She told us to not listen to anyone who said anything negative about her or Bro. Chad. She told us we should tell them their names so that they could go to them and correct any wrong information that they might have been told. She seemed very humble. That was what I thought but that heartfelt speech turned into rage when someone asked a simple question and she took it wrong and flew all over her. I felt so bad and my heart just broke as this young Christian woman was being attacked by Michele. That lady never came back and Michele after being told she was wrong never tried to make it right. To my knowledge that lady is not in church now.
I saw first hand that you never ask anything that she might take wrong she will go after you.
How much longer will the church be able to stay open with no money? Chad is the problem and not all the people leaveing. The people would not be leaving if Chad was not here. The church is not growing it is shrinking so Chad must be the reason. Someone in leadership mysh stand up for what is right. Chad can't fire and run off the entire church body.
I am sorry to 11:04 sometimes we have to stand up even to our friends about things right or wrong. If they hate you for it they are not real friends anyway. Chad is wrong and the staff and deacons and leaders must get their manhood up and fix this before to many others leave.

1. Take responsibility and reject passivity:
We live in a “blame culture” rather than a “responsibility culture”. Too often we see men blame their dad for their failures. We see people shift responsibility for their sin on another person, or at least try to alleviate the conviction/guilt of their sin by convincing themselves and others, that it is someone else’s fault. May God give us men who will take responsibility for their family and lead them spiritually.
Now then this is coming from a Man who should blame his dad for his mean and failing ways. Chad is also blaming all the Godly people who see past his lies for his problems at Trinity when in fact it is his own sin. It amazes me how he needs to listen to his own words and follow his own advice.
• Do Your Work:
However, we have males in our culture that may work well at a job, but who refuse to take the leadership role and work spiritually as God has called us to do. We have men who will not aggressively look for a job, but send their wife to work every day, or who will walk away from a job for convenience sake because they know their wife is bring in income. There are grown men who, the highlight of their day is the score they got on their X-Box for Medal of Honor.
Please Chad you are as a man who gets a fat paycheck for doing nothing. That is just as much of a sin. You are stealing money from hard working people and are doing nothing to earn it.
Own Your Failures:
I never recall a marriage counseling session I have had where the couple has walked in on the first meeting and the husband has said, “We are in here today because I have failed to be the man God has called me to be.” The marriage is always failing because of the mistakes of someone else. We come up with reasons why we run late - be it traffic, kids or anything else for that matter, rather than admitting our mistakes.
How many people have you said "I'm sorry" to? This site is full of people you have wronged here at Trinity and from your past. Lead by example.
• Reject Laziness:
Does this really need to be expounded upon? We were created to work. We were created to do things for the glory of God! There are certainly times we don’t “feel” like doing something - but if all we ever do is what we “feel like,” we would get very little, if anything, accomplished. There is more to laziness than not going to your job - we can grow lazy spiritually, in our time with God, or in our leadership among our family.
We have a bunch of LAZY men who just don't want to stand up to Chad. They know what he is doing is wrong and will tell others but will not stand up for what is right. That too is a sin.
• Reject Whining:
God has not called us to whine, he has called us to do! He has given us the unique ability to be problem solvers. When we whine at our situation we are in fact, whining at God’s providence. There are always going to be things we do not necessarily “like,” but we do not pout and whine about our circumstances – we find a way to adapt, prevail and bring God glory in them!
This may be true but we also need to put that we should not make up stories about our families health and whine about people out to get you when you started it. Stop bulling and I will stop whinning.
• Embrace Commitment:
In our day the thought is that we should shun commitment. We are to pass the buck, so to speak. Instead of coming up with reasons why my family is not worshipping at home, I should see it as my obligation to remedy this. I don’t have to whine, I must embrace the fact that God has given me this responsibility, and that I get to do this!
The people are wanting to worship at church as well but with the way you treat us and scream all the time most leave without feeling they have even met with God. I am so glad I can go home and have time in worship I get more on my own.
Sacrifice:
In our flesh there is nothing good. We don’t want to sacrifice, we don’t want our “to do list” to be messed up. The entire Christian life is to be one of sacrifice: we have as our model, Jesus, who demonstrated this sacrifice all the way to the cross.
Chad the fact is many of us are sacrificing every day. We work hard to pay tithe and we get nothing in return. We have a man who is making $140,000.00 per year to do very little. You are running off so many people and enjoy hurting us.
It is time for the people of Trinity to stand up or leave. We must show Chad and the deacons that we are so tired of Chad and Michele and their cult like ways.
Chad I would like to see you live a life modeled after Christ. He paid the ultimate price for our sins and you use His name to hurt people. You should be ashamed.
Why do you keep expecting the deacons to do anything? Obviously, they are like minded with Chad or something would have been done a long time ago. I do not know what the by-laws state, but cannot a petition be circulated to hire a lawyer and oust Chad and all of his minions? I read that there was fear that Trinity would not be able to hire another preacher if Chad was fired. Now would be the time to start fresh. The salary could be lowered, Trinity could then meet their financial obligations, by hiring a less experienced pastor or one that just graduated from Seminary.
I have been reading some blogs from Trinity members about how great last nights message was. I thought it funny because I have not heard much of this before. Then I found out it was because Bubba was preaching. That explains it. The last time I saw this was a couple of weeks ago when revival was going on. Chad did not preach then either. This should tell you something.
I fell that if preachers were following God's calling then money should be the last reason to come. A true man of God would obey God's Will and not his own pocketbook. Now I am not saying pay them mom. wades but they should make about what most of the membership make and also work to earn it.

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder" I guess it is true. You love him now that he is gone and yet you were critical of him while he was at Trinity. How very fickle you, as well as most of the ones on here are. I am so glad God does not treat you or me the way you treat all the men who are called to be a pastor of Trinity. Oh Chad as you hide behind your keyboard I just want you to know that we sis Love Bro. Jim and still do. You have NO right to bad mouth him or us. He did Love God while he was here and still does. He also treated us like people and he showed us daily he loves us. He preached salvation as well as living a Godly life. He was NOT a cult leader and his wife was a wonderful pastors wife. She did not run around and spy on people and tell Bro. Jim who she felt was not like them and who needed to be fires. She was great. She would council with people. You and Michele have lied to people. The attendance is down to aprox. 400 people per week and money is down and now you are telling us to give more. We are in the RED again. WOW This site predicted that a year ago. Chad has run off the membership and now expects us to give more live on less so he does not have to miss out on the luxurious life he wants to live. Deacons you have been warned and you chose to sit back and do nothing and the people just keep leaving. I heard of 4 more families that I would have never thought would leave. They have young children and with the wonderful programs and activities we have they left. Why You know why because Chad you are Wrong for the church and you must leave. The church will be out of money soon and Chad will move on. Folks we better do something NOW!!
And by the way Chuck left LaBelle Haven about a month ago as GOD called him to a church in Texas. Chad lied and said Bro. Jim promised his he would never come back to preach and that was another lie. Wake Up Trinity it is almost too late.
It is not that Bro. Jim has been gone and we just miss him. I have been away from Chad for a year or more and I don't miss him at all.

I am in no way trying to belittle Bro. Jim! I do believe he loves the Lord. I believed he loved the Lord when he was at Trinity. My point was you say He loves the Lord at LaBelle and my question was- didn't he love the Lord when he was here? He did love the Lord here at Trinity, yet people tore him down and were happy when he left. Just like they tear down Chad now. The same people also tore down and were critical of Bro. David Jett when he was here. Now that Bro. Jim is gone, he seems wonderful. It seems that all the pastors of Trinity are really good, then they are out of God's will, they leave and they are really good again. By whose standards? The same people who are wishy washy when they don't get their way? If anyone preaches salvation it is Chad. If you were in service today, you surely cannot say salvation is not being preached. You cannot say there is not an invitation, yet that does not seem to matter because you continue to tear him down and say he should leave. Who are you to decide that? You say how much you love Trinity, yet you continue to speak words of cursing and condemnation instead of blessing. So, why are you still here? If you think Trinity is doomed and it is only a matter of time till she fails, why keep coming and tearing down. Why not go somewhere else when you feel confident in the leadership? Why keep staying unless you come to look for something to be negative about?
And just to clear up any misunderstanding about your first statement-this is not Chad hiding behind a keyboard. I am a faithful member of a church I love and support financially. I have been a member for years. I believe in her future and the work that God is doing here. Just because someone says something you don't like doesn't mean it is Chad or Michele. We are very capable of seeing the good things that are happening here! Today, once again, God was at Trinity and His word was proclaimed. I pray He will lead you in your walk with Him.
You people don't seem to get it, Chad has an "I" problem. He condemns others instead of building them up. He is selfish and arrogant. Nobody with that demeanor is called to be pastor, because if he were truly called by God, he would not act and treat people like he does.

I am not sure some of you get it. The very things you continue to say about Chad Everson you do on this blog every time you write something.
Is salvation being preached? Yes it is. Does he preach the word? Yes he does. Until the Lord moves Bro. Chad he will be staying. It is not about people "getting it." With all the things that a group of you continue to post, we all get it-you don't like him, in fact, it almost appears that you hate him. So, for the most part when you write something, it is the same thing over and over.
But the truth remains, God is still blessing Trinity because He chooses to. You can make all the remarks you want about the giving and how if people quit giving, Chad will leave. God is way bigger than any of our giving or words on a screen. If you quit giving, that is between you and God. I would be careful playing give and take with Him.

That is really weird, I am there every service, AM and PM, and I have never heard him say that. I guess what I have heard has been challenging to really know what salvation is and isn't and according to the word, there are things we really need to be sure of if we claim to be a Christian. Also, that if we are truly born again there will be a change and that growth will continue as well as God's realness moment to moment in our life. If we are not experiencing that kind of life, then we should make sure we truly know Him. I have not heard him saying that we are all lost.

The attendance was so low yesterday. I just don't know how long this will hold up. I do wonder why we still have all the nursery people paid to be in charge who just sit in their offices an Sunday running up the clock. I think it is time to start cutting people and the ones left should have to work for their pay.
Take it from someone, who has already seen the light and left, the reason the attendance was so low at Trinity yesterday was that most of your members were visiting at other churches.
They were hearing sermons filled with love, worshipping the Lord that loves all those "whosoevers", and feeling the warmth of a true pastor who loves his members and wants them to stay and serve the Lord with him...not trying to convince them they are of no importance to him and they can leave if they don't like the way HE runs HIS church.
Chad is destroying Trinity right before your eyes and it really isn't all his fault. He's a loose cannon, who makes no bones about who and what he is. Good grief, he's done this identical thing in three churches and left a trail of destruction behind. He's hiding nothing! He's being allowed to do this!
It's amazing that a pastor can ignore the vote of a congregation and hand pick his buddies and 'yes-men' as Deacons, and an entire church stands by and helplessly wrings its hands.
You are seeing first hand how bullies work. It's everywhere now..in the schools, the government and now your church. Heaven help you and give you a backbone.
Sad thing is...when you visit other churches, inevitably someone will ask if you are moving into the area...you reply that you are visiting from another church... they ask what church...you say, "Trinity"...and an immediate look of sympathy and understanding comes across their faces...same reaction from members and pastors. THEY ALL KNOW THE TROUBLE AT TRINITY!
This is not going unnoticed in your community. Trinity's reputation is ruined. It's known over the entire area as being a troubled church and Chad was going to be the one to heal it. Whoops, didn't happen. He knew it was a weak church he could get total control of, and he's perfectly willing to destroy it to rebuild it HIS way.
He just has one small problem..
...that big old debt! If he can get you guys to pay it off, he'll have his ambition fulfilled. He'll have his own church he can rule with an iron fist, he'll pull you out of the SBC and his Reformed/Calvinist rule will be established.
On the other hand, if you don't pay off the debt and and the money continues to dwindle, your hand picked Deacon body is going to find Chad moving on to greener pastures when they can't come up enough money to pay his big salary and that of his overpaid buddies. Then they will be blamed by the remnant of your congregation who have stayed. Who will pay the monstrous debt then? All those, who loved the church and would have helped pay the debt, will be gone!
Does the staff, who are falling on the sword for him, not realize that he will throw them under the bus, one by one, to keep his big bucks? Would they be nodding yes and applauding everything he says if they knew they were the first to go?
Don't you guys see Chad masking his huge ego behind his Holier Than Thou, all-knowing, all-authority, "if you don't like it, leave", mean-spirited, hateful lectures (aka sermons)? Do you think he's going to be any kinder to you when he feels it's time to fire you?...and you've stood still and handed him the authority to do it to you.
Do you think the congregation could do one thing to help you? No way..their votes count for nothing. You have invited the fox into the pen with the sheep, guys!

To Annom. @ 11:45 This is correct. You wrote this so well. I sat down and looked at the past directory and it broke my heart at the people who have left. Some of them I would have never thought I would see leave. I have been visiting around and I have seen so many Trinity members at every church. Most of them don't want to leave but feel they have no choice. We are all just watching to see if the Deacons will stand up for what is right. It looks more dismal every day. I feel myself that now that Jimmy Hughes and Tim Wyatt are in charge Chad will be free to distroy all he wants. Thaey just don't care what happenes. I do hope that all these deacons better think agian if they decide to come to all the other churches in the area cause you have bad names too.
There have been 2 different Pastor Search Committees at Trinity in the past few months. Neither wanted him. That should be surprising to all who feel that he is so wonderful and finally putting Trinity on the right path being we have always "had it wrong". Over the past years we received so many awards for people joining and people saved now that Chad has fixed us we don't have a problem finding a place to store all those eagle awards. Maybe in the "WONDERFUL WORLD OF CALVINISM" they give out awards for how many you run off.
I would also like to say that Chad was voted in with 87% of the people wanting him. The staff and deacons were among the ones who voted NO. Now they are the only ones who like him for fear of their jobs.
On the Trinity site Chad is back to telling us NOT to gossip or slander. He said that that means if you tell something that is true and might hurt the person it is gossip or slander. Please Chad I feel that if you were a man above reproach then you would not have to fear what others were saying about you, it would all be good. I have never seen a site like this before except when Bellevue was going through their mess and then their pastor came out and apologized because he was in the wrong and God told him so. Chad would never seek God's advice because then he would see how wrong he has been at all his churches.

GONE!! Visited a wonderful church last week where I heard a wonderful message of salvation that people responded to. Several people were saved and 2 families joined. This is something we have not seen at Trinity in over a year. The people were so nice and were not walking around in fear. The pastor welcomed our family and we just loved it. It was not just a feel good message and he did not sugar coat the way to heaven and sin. It was not a feel good message but I sure did feel so good when I left. There is joy in being a Christian and I love Jesus and He loves even if Chad does not.
Bro. Jim was such a breath of fresh air yesterday. For those of you holding onto the hope Bro. Jim will ride in on a white horse and rescue Trinity from the "EVILSON'S" need to wise up he will not. He will not step in and help any church not willing to help themselves. Trinity is DOOMED and you can look in a mirror and thanks yourself for it. Heaven help us. Chad's above blog post dated Monday, Nov 15, has to be without a doubt the most arrogant rambling I've ever read. If you haven't read it yet, read it now. Apparently,

Who do you think you are? It's clear that you think Trinity "isn't what it was" thanks to your coming here. Trinity was a great, growing, BIBLICAL church before you got here. It had a love for the community and a love for each other. It was known as a place of safety and refuge. You did get one thing right: "we aren't what we used to be."
Most of the staff members who have moved on from Trinity ARE still in the ministery. I found out from one of the men who used to be a leader in Trinity that Chad just had the church refinanced because it was going into forclosure. They claimed a few months ago that for the first time the church was in the "GREEN" well that was a lie sorta. They were only in the green because they had not paid the payroll before that report was run and now we know the note on the building was not paid. It had not been paid for months. Chad's salary WAS paid. His house note WAS paid. I bet we are STILL paying for the house in Florida as well. One of the men on the finance committee refused to sign for the refinance because the church was in so much trouble and he did not want his name on it.
Chad keeps on hiring and paying people who we do NOT need on payroll. Trinity is in real trouble and they are lying about it. Chad wants everyone to thing all is well. He is even telling people NOT to do Santa Clause any more and give it to the church.
The Deacons better wake up and people better come to their senses real fast or this will the last year Trinity will be open. The sad thing is that Chad will blaime it on all the people who have left when in fact it is ALL his fault. It is also ALL THE DEACON'S FAULT.
People have been begging for over a year and Chad has beat everyone up and told them they are LOST if they don't agree with him. He has even told that if they disagree with what he demands of them that they are the troublemakers in the church. It is not being a troublemaker when you make trouble for the person who is in the WRONG.
We voted Chad in the forst of December and I think we need to recall him this December. Labelle Haven is looking for a church down here andf Bro. Jim is preaching there. I think it would be a perfect to bring the other church related to Trinity and the greatest preacher we have had back together for a fresh start.

Dear 9:29 you don't know what was done behind closed doors. These things are being kept because if you knew you would be up in arms over it. Chad is robbing Trinity blind and will leave her broken, battered, and in poverty. I don't know how this person found out about what they posted but it is true I was included in on a few of the meetings where Chad was trying to get something passed quickly before anyone found out. Jim was called to be the pastor. He was a wonderful pastor and in my opinion he was the best pastor she ever had. LaBelle Haven was a branch from LaBelle Baptist that helped form the now TBC. Now Bro. Jim is preaching there. He is only the interim pastor and I know many hope he stays. Most of us did not want him to leave and the few left that did well they now regret it. Bro. Jim will bring the church to DeSoto Co, and she will grow. He has always been able to grow a church. He is the polar opposite of Chad who destroys churches. Thanksgiving service was really good with Bubba preaching. Chad gave us something to be thankful for he was GONE. I am only there because I hate to leave TBC all alone to Chad. Heaven Help us.
Trinity is not STILL paying for the house in Florida. Chad sold it. Do your homework, it's all in online public records. What's interesting is that he sold it for just $200,000. According to the mortgages filed he originaly owed over $330,000 on the first mortgage taken out in 2005 and $140,000 on a second mortgage taken out in 2007. There's no way he paid down well over half of these mortgages in under 5 years just by making just the minimum payments. Where did the money come from? Trinity needs an audit more now than ever.

I can't see any mortgage company taking that type of loss unless it was in foreclosure. Personally I could care less if he sold it or not or if he took a loss. I only know that if he took any money from Trinity to pay it down then that equals "Jail Time". He never told us what the extra mission money was for maybe he asked for it for his mission " get of of debt in Florida". He is a liar and he spent much money in Florida and will here if he is not watched. The sad part is there are people who are not buying Christmas for their families and taking away Santa from their Children based on what Chad, Michele, and Jeff have instructed while giving them the money for the "Church". I find it odd that included in Chad's Blog on the TBC site he has had guest bloggers. Today's was written by Greg Stringfield. In this he just praises our staff. What is odd about it is that Greg is one of the ones who bad mouths the preacher. He is the one who told us not to vote for him but now that he is here and threatening his job Chad is wonderful. Please? He is also the one who filed charges against a senior citizen for threatening his life. This entire staff MUST GO and take the deacons with them.

Just ran into a young couple who invited me to a church they were visiting. I was shocked because I did not know they had left. From what Chad says all the young couples love him. Well that is another lie. They have left too and taken their children and tithe with them. Chad is wrong for Trinity and he were not then ALL the HUNDREDS of members who have left would still be here. I know that you always have a few members leave but not over half the membership. Chad has come in brought his friends and puppets in with large salaries and in 2 years run off people who have been here most of their lives.

Dear Mark A. since I feel this must be you. I understand and agree that the choir is doing the best it can with a pastor who is so busy trying to make everyone like him and his family. The music man is a person with NO experience in leading a choir. He fears his job so much that he just does what Chad tells him no matter how bad it sounds.
It does not take a disgruntle ex-choir person who only wants self worship to not be happy. Just because people show concern over the way the church is headed that does not make them "Self Worshipers" Did you ever think that maybe they are people who God has opened their eyes to what is happening?
I was someone who thought Chad was right and we should not ever disagree with the pastor but after praying for others who I thought were being so "sinful" in their attitude about Chad the Lord showed me that Chad was wrong and my eyes started to open to just how wrong he is. Mr. Avant you have been at Trinity longer than I have been. You have seen God move in the peoples lives. From what we were 15 years ago to now please you can't say that it is better. I used to see God moving all the time and feel His presence but now I don't. I know you will say it is because my heart is wrong but it is not. I am so praying for Trinity and just hope that the Lord steps in soon because the men of the church are to scared of Chad to do anything.
All that to say that the music was good Sunday night and the choir did a wonderful job. I just hate that so few people were there to see it. I have never see such a low turnout in all the musicals we have had. It is not the peoples fault.

Has Chad not been the one to introduce and use that word to all the people here. I do feel it was better than the American Idol wanna be show we had a few years ago. Any group that would give unbridled control to a stranger with no accountability to anyone is not only incompetent, but has broken their covenant with the congregation to represent it.
In all their pride over their "title" and their cowardess in not wanting to rock the boat, they have handed a church to a dictator, who doesn't care if he destroys it in order to rebuild it his way.
These same men will find themselves kicked to the curb if they ever stand up to him in any way or whenever Chad's use for them is over, whichever comes first.

He is making $140,000.00 to abuse people. WOW maybe he would do better but would have to join WWF to be able to abuse people for pay.

What has really upset me is the advice that Chad and Michelle are giving to young impressible weak minded adults who are quitting their jobs and homeschooling their children. We have two such couples who were finally starting to do good for their family and now the wife has quit and they can't hardly afford to pay their bills. One family has 6 children and she does not need to homeschool these kids. Not only is he putting the church into foreclosure but also the membership. Will all this lose income that also equals loss tithe.

These are very Godly who pour their hearts and lives out everyday for not much money to children. You do all you can to show them the love of Jesus. The people who are foolish enough to quit their jobs today when they can't afford it are crazy. You have to use your brains. My wife stayed home and we were blessed to be able to do it. It was hard and it took sacrifices but she would have gone back to work if she needed to. It is very easy for a man who brings in six figures to have his wife stay home. I bet she will have to return to work soon if the church keeps bringing in $22,000.00 per week in tithes. We will not be able to keep paying him.

Bro. Jim is going to be at LaBelle Haven for a while just come here. It is not old Trinity but it is a great place to be. Just shake off Chad's dust from your feet and come where you can be loved on and made to feel a wonderful part of a loving church. A church where the gospel is preached and people are saved. It is more than a church it is a FAMILY. A place where we can agree to disagree and if you have a different "preference" you are not lost.
A couple of months ago a group of men came in and they looked to be a pulpit committee. Someone said that they went up to them and found out they were from a church interested in Chad. That Sunday Chad had preached calmer and nicer than he had in a year. This person told me that they told this committee not to even look at Chad and directed them to this site. I am glad they spoke up and saved that church but I hate he did not leave. Until he has no money and is the only person left on staff he will not leave. The money is so low but Chad will get paid if no one else does. Please pray hard and for a miracle to happen. Chad needs to be out of the ministry for good and him and Michelle need to leave. Maybe them and Jeff, Jon, Brad can all leave and start another cult some where else like a deserted island.
Chad is up to his old Blogs again. In the last two he is posting the reason he preaches and act like he does. He is using the idea that Jesus talked and acted the same way so that justifies Chad to do the same. Yes there were times that Jesus stood up and took a stand and there are times we must too, but I do not believe that Jesus won the converts that followed him everywhere by screaming and yelling at them. No Where in the Bible does it say that. I believe that Jesus showed them love and mercy and told them about the father in a way that they wanted to follow and serve. Thanks I have never heard such a thing as the "Gospel is Unattractive" It is the way Chad presents it with the "Your Lost!" "Be Submissive or your LOST" Cram everything down your throat attitude. Chad makes people afraid that if the even think one thing that Chad deems a sin then you are going to hell. Chad is the one who needs to learn what salvation is. It is a gift that God gave us in the form of a baby. His own son and it is a gift that is as easy to receive as a simple prayer. You do NOT have to do it Chad's way. Chad has screwed up the thinking of many people and will stand before judgment one day and it will not be fun. Chad has made people doubt their salvation and even turn away from God.
I will also say that I have been a Southern Baptist all my life and Chad is in no way what we believe. He has raped the entire church. Shame on you!
Now Chad has brought this up and it just shocks me that Chad is bashing a means that people use the talent and abilities for God. These people use singing, acting and even their muscles. I was at Trinity when the Power Team came and we had over 400 salvations. There were people coming down the isles and being baptised. There are a few young men who surendered into the ministery and have one today. Chad you are so quick to bash them but they atleast show fruits of their labors. We have not seen any fruits of this so called ministery of yours. Stop putting down what others do and try to improve yours. Most losers look for fault in sussessful others. That is what Chad is a LOSER.
Below is what I believe is the truth about Trinity. Trinity has always had "issues" and it is well known for this. In fact the reputation of the church has made it difficult in the past to attract certain pators who would have been a great fit there. So when you flashback a couple of years ago when the search committe was looking to replace David Jett quality options were pretty limited. Trinity was in a very fragile state at the time and the last thing it needed was for the church to call a "controversial" pastor which of course is exactly what happened. I don't pretend to know Chad Everson that well but I do know enough about his history to know that he left both of his previous churches on bad terms and there were controversies surrounding his ministry. This is NOT what Trinity needed. The only hope was that Chad had learned from his past leadership mistakes but there has been no evidence of that. Yes, many changes were needed at Trinity and to be honest the membership was full of "trouble makers." The Biblical way to handle this would have been to go to these people individually and then bring them before the church but that was never done. Instead, the pastor tried to either ignore these people or indirectly push them out. In no case did he ever try to handle these situations up front. The bottom line is he has very poor leadership skills. His personality is that of a "school yard bully" who tries to manipulate and push people but never doing the work himself. As a preacher the pastor comes across as "arrogant" and "judgmental" which completely turns people off who understand the the real gospel speaks of humility and self-examination. From a ministry stand point the pastor is neither evangelistic or mission oriented. This very well could because of his Calvanistic beliefs (just ask him, but this is what he believes). It could be, and I don't know this for a fact, that he is a "closet" hyper-calvinist. This would explain his lack of interest in witnessing and missions. The "cultish" fellowship that Michelle is teaching is as scary as anything Chad does. Her teaching/influencing/pressuring her class to quit their jobs and homeschool is not based on Scripture but on her opinion. In fact the last thing we need is for Christians to abandon our schools. We need the gospel there more than ever and it is my opinion that what she is teaching actually contradicts the Bible on this aspect. With this being said, I still pray for Chad and his family as well as Trinity. Nothing is going to change there without the divine intervention of God who either convicts Chad to repentence and brokeness or moves him away from the church. Either way I pray that this happens quickly.

I remember the power team and as much as it was not what I liked I could not refuse that God moved and hundreds of people were saved. I think Chad does not want us to look at successful ministries because it just makes him look like a loser. Any one who uses their talents for God's Glory and people are saved is doing good. Chad just has no fruits and wants to make other peoples look sour as well.

The only hope for 2011 is for Chad to leave. He is so arrogant to think he will stay on for years I predict he will be gone by this time next year. I only hope that Trinity is still there and not gone under.

God called all of us to be at Trinity at one time. Most of us have served very faithfully through the years. He hasn't forgotten us nor has he Left us . I am just a lay person with no church affiliation. After reading the posts and comments regarding Trinity Baptist Church in Southaven, MS, and their minister, Chad Everson, I would not even set foot in that church, let alone give them one penny of my money! At the rate members leaving that church, I expect to see a "Foreclosure" notice on their front lawn any day now!
Chad will be LONG gone before he allows anything bad to happen under his watch, especially a foreclosure.

Of course, it was swept under the rug and the one "disciplined" was the secretary who pointed the finger at him. That's just one example of the Eversons' total depravity (to use a good Calvinist expression). The thin veneer of righteousness will not cover hypocrisy, greed and arrogance forever.
Trinity is paying Chad and Jarrod for our literature. Chad is making more money off of us. If he was like other pastors they write materials and then copy it for the church free. Chad keeps stealing more and more from us. He first stole our hopes for Trinity then our joy money is the least of it.

Chad may have tried to "steal our joy", but our joy is in the Lord and neither Chad, nor anyone, can steal that.
What he did was plant seeds of doubt in our minds about the whole experience of being part of a church family. It makes you wonder just how much a "family" we are when an outsider can come in and so quickly destroy our family. It feels like a home invasion!
One thing I am sure of is that he truly believes what he is doing is the right thing to do. He was raised to think that the PASTOR is all powerful, that the church is there to adore him and that anything a member thinks is wrong...doctrinally, procedurally or otherwise...is like high treason and that member must be lost or he wouldn't dare question the ALMIGHTY PASTOR.
God's Word is first his weapon of control, then maybe his message. It's blasphemous how preachers today mold the Bible to brow beat congregations. They will pay for that one day!
It's good to have Trinity in the rear view mirror, but the scars still hurt. Most of all, it shakes your confidence in MAN, not GOD, and makes you much too wary of new involvements. Trust in spiritual leaders and in submitting to authority are the deepest wounds, and it will take a long time for that to heal. God knows our hurt and He will help us.

You are so right I have always felt like Trinity was a family. It uses to say on everything " Trinity more than a church it's a family". That was true but I have never treated any of my family the way I was treated after saying that I did not like the way Chad was preaching. I was attacked by people who were my friends. I was told that I needed to get my heart right or leave. That came from Michele. I hated being there so much and after 10 years I left. I was so sad to leave but it was the best thing I could have done. The church I attend now is a loving church where Jesus is preached and shown. That is the difference Chad can scream it but can't show it. You have to have the love of Jesus to show it. Chad is known by his fruits and they are all sour and rotten.
What is making us really sick is when the church is hurting so bad for money Chad takes his wife on yet another cruise. Money is so low and we could end up locking the doors and Chad keeps yelling for us to give more. He tells us to not spend and to sacrifice. Give more and it all the fault of the troublemakers who left. All those lost people who got mad and left can blame their selves for Trinity's money problems. It could never be Chad's fault and I am sure he never saw the fast exodus people made from Trinity. Many were told to leave.
We can worry about all this because Chad and Michele are relaxed from another cruise. Well it is time to cut back on Chad's spending. He also needs to refund the money we have paid him to write the new Sunday School material. It does not even make sense and needs to be used for firewood. We must start this year right and get rid of the problem at Trinity and that is Chad , Michele, and their clones.
I did not take my family on a vacation this past year and I did continue to give. I could understand if Chad worked to need a vacation. This next year my family will enjoy a trip and Chad just lost my money. I will tithe where it will be used wisley.

He has even put this new "Staff Member" in as a new deacon and no one even knows who he is and why he is on staff. This madness needs to stop and I don't know what to do to make it happen. The older and wiser men are or have left the church and are blessing other ones now. We are just doomed. Chad is a joke that is not very funny.
I can't understand for the life of me how these men who have run God's church for so long are now just sitting back on their thumbs and doing nothing. Several deacons have said that they would support getting rid of him but they fear they will not get a good pastor because of the name. Well you can't get members or keep the ones you have now. Chad is EVIL and you have got to stand up and do something NOW!

Deacons were what we Southern Baptists called them BC (before Chad) and his 'Reformed' theology that Trinity has swallowed hook, line & sinker.

We have not voted on Elders but that will not matter to Chad. He seems to be allowed to do anything he wants to whomever he wants. I now know what the people of Cuba feel like.
We don't have a clue how this man got on staff or what he does. All we know is that he is here and was put on the deacon board. He has not been voted. But you are right voting is a "Southern Baptist" thing as well and Chad is not Southern Baptist. Another LIE to get hired because he knew we would not look at someone who was not. Chad lied and lied and still does. I want a re-vote and he needs to go.
So, like if no one knows what the man does and no one seems to know who he is, is this for sure true or perhaps a rumor. If it is true, what is the mans name. Someone would know what he does. Right?
Does Chad have a signed contract with the church, for a specific period of time? If he does, either "suck it up" and support him, or leave. If he does not, call a business meeting and fire him, then immediately change the locks on the church doors. It ain't rocket science folks; all it requires is a little bit of courage and a resolve to stick together. Perhaps that's the real issue: Trinity is so fractured that it can't even manage to become a Baptist church again.
I guess I have asked due to a post on the 5th by 10:25 about the new staff member who is a deacon and no one has given any more information. Would someone please give the details about a new staff member who is a deacon. I have not heard that we had a new staff member and who is this person? Would whoever wrote that could you please give the information?
I have seen this man I am not sure of his name but I did over hear him at dinner one Wednesday night telling people he was the new staff member. We are older people and I guess we were labeled as troublemakers and he did not talk to us. We did not vote on him.
Chad has hired people and fired people. The PSC and personnel committee gave him the right. It will not change. Just suck it up!
Ok, I keep coming to this blog, but the staff member thing really seems to be a rumor if someone over heard someone say something, but no one seems to know who this person is or what they do. So, I am gonna call Monday morning and find out if there is a new staff member that is also a deacon. I will post what I find out. There is no way a new staff member can be there and no one knows what he does and no knows his name and he is a deacon. If it is true, I will let you know, if it is not true, I will let you know. If it is not true them someone is posting non truths which makes me wonder if other things are true. So, I will call and find out.
Chad has done so much over the past two years that if this is true(and I have been told this is) it would not surprise me. Why would it anyone?
He has lied to and about the membership of Trinity. He has attacked Deacons, teachers, leaders, singers even the people on the search committee who brought his evil to us. He told us that he was "Southern Baptist" that was only true as far as that was what the church he left was. He had NO intention on keeping us Southern Baptist. Even worse by the way he has misused the Bible he has so many confused and you have remember who is the author of confusion. SATAN IS!!
Chad is a BULLY and a LIAR and needs Jesus. There is no way he can say he has the love of Jesus in his heart and yet acts and bullies the way he is.
Think about it, if you or I acted the way he does any other pastor we have ever known at Trinity or anywhere would have put a stop to us. Then why is it alright for him to use his "position" to abuse others? Chad is not what when expected when he was voted in and as in any other election he needs to be recalled.
I agree with the last post and Chad is the most evil person I think I could have ever met. To use the Bible and service to the Lord just to hurt others. He will stand in judgment one day.
I talked to a staff member today and there is no new staff member. There is an empty office that a man uses once in a while when he is working on a non profit organization that helps kids. This man is a new deacon. As far as some unknown new staff member it is not true. So who ever posted that and who ever joined in saying they had heard someone saying he was must have misunderstood or posted something that was simply false. I am glad I went and asked and I am glad I can clear up any misunderstanding so it is not treated as a fact when it must have been a rumor. Probably would be a good thing to make sure what you post is really true before people join in and add fire to falsehood.

I understand what you were told but when I called Tuesday(could not get an answer Monday due to weather) I was told "We can not answer that question, they would have to take a message and Bro. Chad would call me back personally." I was just asking and so I did not leave my number knowing that I would be the person who got the brunt of Chad's rants and anger. I will say that I have talked with a lady who works in the kitchen who were shocked when this man just walked into the kitchen and announced to them that he was the newest staff member. The lady who told me this (NO I will not give her name) when I asked her again said that she needed her job and has decided not to talk but she also said that she was correct in what she said before. Chad needs to come clean before the church.
Well I asked a deacon and he said "NO COMMENT" I did not push it with him so if it is the man I think hasn't he preached some on Wednesday night? I don't understand and haven't we had rules that a deacon must be a member of the church for longer than a month or two? We don't even know who this man is or anything about him. There is no reason to cover anything up just tell us. I don't understand why we have not been told I mean Chad has gotten everything else he has wanted why would this be any different?
I think all this is a goo indication of the way most of us trust Chad. He has shown himself un-trustworthy and we can't believe him. As far as the rest of the staff well the same there. He has people so coward down and beaten up that they fear their jobs. And deacons please? that is a joke as well. Jimmy Hughes is back and Tim Wyatt in leadership so we will never know.
I recently overheard Tim tell someone that the deacons are 100% behind Chad. Who else could hold him responsible? The stewardship committee? No, Chad tells them what to do. The personnel committee? Nope, same thing. Don't we have a charter or bylaws or something that tells us who can hold the pastor accountable for his (in)actions?
We did have a set of by-laws but as I found out when I talked to a few members of the Madison Street after Chad left the discovered Chad had changed the by-laws there to suit his desires. He had the people who he appointed that signed off and approved what he did. The same is happening here. People thought that things were a secret society when Bro. David was here well at least they were not borderline illegal. Someone better check the books cause there is a reason NBleft as the long time bookkeeper. Things stink in that office and the smell leads right to Chads office.
My family left about 2 months into Bro. Chad coming. After talking with him and being told that things only run his way or not at all (Chad said that) we knew where things were headed. I am just going to say that we were correct in leaving. Things will not change and it is better to be happy and becoming a growing Christian at another church than to be wimps and broken in spirit at Trinity. Trinity is a big building with no purpose. If I were you I would RUN as FAST as you can to a Jesus run church and not a Chad run church. There is a big difference.
How can he change the by-laws and did he really change them in Florida?

When Chad came we were so excited to be having this wonderful man of God coming. One who would lead by example and one who would fix all the problems in our Church. All we got was a slap in the face. We had deacons and staff telling us that he was wrong and that we were going to regret calling him and they were right. Now they say the opposite only because he has told them he will fire them. I just don't see this changing or getting better.

I went again to hear Bro. Jim at LaBelle Haven yesterday. It was so refreshing. He said something that sums up what Trinity and other churches and even people fall into. We presume that if something looks good it must be God's will. Sometimes we assume it so much we don't even pray or look into it deeper. NOT EVERYTHING THAT LOOKS GOOD IS GOD'S WILL! We were so much looking for everything that Chad claimed he was. He sold himself so well and we bought it hook line and sinker.Even in our life we have to learn to pray and seek God's will. When things look too good to be true sometimes they are.When it is from God it will be right. There have been problems from day one. Even before when the PSC had red flags about him and Chad had to smooze them over.
There are very Godly men out there that will look at Trinity as a church who got the wrong man in and saw it and tookcare of it. Tnhere are very Godly Pastors that would be lead by the spirit to come in and with God's guidance will lead TBC back into His will.
I so enjoyed Bro. Jim's message and I got more out of it than I have from Chad's rants. Wake up Trinity it is almost too late.
Oh yes I can hear Chad preach and never hear much of it. I could hear anyone else say the same thing and I will listen. Chad is just nuts and needs to rethink his skills or lack of skills. If he were God called he would have fruits that show it. Chad has none.

Rod Salmon had appx. 75 to 80 people every Sunday in the choir. Now there are around 35 to 39 singers.
Church attendance is down appx. 50%.
Offering is down 50% plus.
So, deacons, how long are you going to support the sinking ship??
At the rate of this decline, there will be a For Sale sign in the church yard.

1. if you can hire or take care of your staff in a way so their security is taken care of, you will get support from them. They want to take care of their families. Example> government or union workers want to grow b/c it will give them security. they could care less in the end about results and the damage it could bring to the country or company. If it collapses so what, they just care about the right now. Sin nature, pastors are not above it. Dictators and some pastors are alike. Kill decent. come down hard on it. then your like that abused dog who is afraid. You only touch that hot stove once, b/c of that pain. If he can humiliate you and make that your the one in the wrong. 2. In real life, churches are like businesses. If people are not coming in, it must do something about it. Vote with your feet. Believe me their are plenty of good churches, you do not have to be in despair. God has given us brains to think with. Some pastors just can not handle the (regular) christians having a diff opinion. Chad was raised up in the entitled mentality of what a Pope(sorry pastor) is, and it has shown throughout his (ministry)?
3. He will not leave on his on for the good of church. He likes the security and the lifestyle that it brings. He will only leave if fired, or a better opportunity for him . It is not about God or you. Just my opinion.
It is so true. We need to take back God's church and then have LaBelle Haven who used to be a part of the Trinity Trio and have Bro. Jim rebuild the church. He can because he is a Godly man who runs the church the way God says and guess what Chad??????? You might think it is wrong but it WORKS!
WOW 10 people joined LaBelle Haven today. They all came from Trinity. Chad your empire is crumbling. These are the people who refused to leave and wanted to remain to pick up the pieces. Now there will be no one left.
Please consider this...
All of us are totally against what is happening at Trinity...Chad's dictatorial leadership, Calvinist/Reformed theology, treatment of people,..all of it....but is it necessary to continually bring Bro. Jim and LaBelle into this?
It just doesn't seem quite fair to Bro. Jim to give a weekly update on how well things are going at LaBelle. His ministry stands on its own...has nothing to do with Chad...and anyone going from Trinity to LaBelle is probably doing it for several valid reasons...to get back to a loving pastor, a theologically sound message, a fellowship free from the exhausting drama and to the pure unhindered worship of Almighty God!
The faithful at LaBelle and the new members of that congregation need to be left alone to grow together and put Trinity in the rear view mirror. Bitterness and revenge have no place in Christians' lives. This is all about God, worship of Him, and getting back to the total joy of serving Him and loving His people.
Let's be careful to not create new problems in our zeal for getting away from the old.
Remember, those still at Trinity are apparently loving it and glad to stay and go with Chad's flow...or they would have stopped him a long time ago...still could, but don't want to. Let them have it and stay until their eyes are opened.
Just my opinion...from one who is glad to have Trinity behind me.
I do agree Bro. Jim has nothing to do with this. I am glad he is back to minister to all the hurt saints who were abused by Chad and left. The ones who are in power now and by that I mean Tim W. and Jimmy H. will allow Chad to continue as long as they keep their place in authority. This is sad the ones keeping him in power are doing it for their glory and nothing at Trinity is happening for God's.
Great advice for everyone. However, there are several churches in DeSoto County that can tell you how those who leave Trinity mad can wreck havoc when they come. Everyone leave your baggage and make a fresh start somewhere else. It's never as good as it once was, but God can sure provide a great tomorrow for those who are willing!
Who are some of the families that joined LaBelle? We are thinking about visiting there. I can't wait to be reunited with our dear friends who have left Trinity.
Tell me this. What does Chad say about the attendance drop? Does he have such ego that he thinks it's others unfaithfulness, its not him? Is he such a narcisist that he does not have a accurate way of looking at his leadership weaknesses and maybe humble himself to reflect and learn from his past. I do enjoy my talks with Jeff S and Carol S. I think their motives for what they do for the church are pure and love for the Lord,not power . I think he has just caught following Chad around b/c it has been easier. I am praying about talking to him about my problems with Chad. I just do not want to stir up anything. I am praying that my motives are pure and not anything that would be unpleasing to the Lord.
Don't fool yourself about those two, they have been with chad for a long time and have been part of many of the same hateful things.

I do agree if he had the faith of a mustard seed he might be a great man of God. He will never enjoy t full ministry until he breaks ties with Chad.
How can Chad have a Love the Church month when it is him who has a issue with loving the church. We know how to love and Chad does not. Now with that said since it is the people who make up the church that means that Chad just does not love people.
Chad does not love the church or any of us. He only loves our money. I don't know how the church can hang on anymore. I know he was trying to sell the ball fields to raise money. I am sure he is ready for his anniversary check to highlight another year he has remained in power.
It can't be all our fault. The church is in worse shape than before he came. There are people who I would have thought would have left and now they are gone. Chad has attacked the man in charge of him being hired. Money is down. No one is coming down. Some who are hot here anymore have just simply stopped attending church. They are not lost just sick of all this mess.

I do feel that God is leading so many to leave to protect them from him lowering the boom on TBC. It is wrong for Chad to keep hurting the church but even worse are the people who know better and have done nothing. Leaving for Good.
How many people are attending Sunday School and then leaving to attend church services someplace else. If you are too ashamed of Chad's message to invite friends and family to hear Chad, perhaps you should be looking elsewhere. You should look forward to hearing your pastor each week, not filled with dread.
There are still many who come to Sunday School and then leave. Some go elsewhere to church and some just go eat and home. I think it would only take watching the parking lot each Sunday to see. I will not invite anyone to Trinity right now. There was a day that we wanted to invite and build Trinity up but what for now? Only to have our friends and family ask us if we really believe that way. To have our friends think we are just as crazy because we are still there. Please? Trinity is just a lost cause and I love my Sunday School class that I teach but I will not stay and listen to Chad. I will not post my name because I would be fired tomorrow. Then my entire class would leave with me. We are all only there because of our fellowship nothing else. And for the record I do go to another church every Sunday and onlt come on Sunday night if I have a teachers meeting, and then leave. Chad just makes me sick and there is such a heaviness I just can't be in the service with him preaching. I do attend when he is gone.
