chad a everson on Deception

An attempt was made this morning to post a comment asking for "a list of the names of the people on the various groups and committees that are considered to be relevant to matters being discussed on this blog, so that we can talk to those people with whom we feel comfortable about all the issues being brought up."

Nice try, but that will not get posted here. This is simply a last ditch effort for a pre-emptive strike on those that actually might make a stand against this evil.

Trinity, stand up and fight for the True and living God, do what you must to keep this from happening elsewhere, be bolder than the leadership was at the last two churches. Your efforts are working. It amazes me that it took 8 years in Byron, 4 years in Starke, but the destruction has taken less than 2 with you. His ego and arrogance is growing. Let the show begin.

A list was posted in the Trinity bulletin a couple of weeks ago (after the need was posted here) of the people on the "Peace Makers Committee" You can call the church and ask for the list of Deacons and members of personnel committee. Johnnie O'Daniel is the chairman of the deacons and he knows the problems even his daughter left and joined another church. Things are bad and getting worse. We MUST let the people in charge know how hurt we are and how we feel. If they chose to do nothing then we will know we have done all we can. Before you leave do all you can call, write, PRAY!

If men are so wicked with religion, what would they be if without it?

Beware who you talk to. I would also take someone with you as a whitness. That way if it comes back on you you will have proof of what you said and did. Also post if they scream at you or Chad does. People must see what he does and know what will happen if Chad just thinks you are not with him. Look at Mrs. Ann.

Don't Trust Chad or his minions. He is only here to hurt and devastate all who don't think as he does.

Anonymous said...

I keep hearing about more and more people leaving. If you are not going to stay and fight for the church in which you have invested many years worth of time and money, at least let us know when and why you are leaving like Ann and Clarence.

Anonymous said...

It is so hard to keep fighting a fight that Chad has all the deacons and staff so scared that they won't stand up to him. Bro. John Miller should stand up and stop waiting to retire. If Chad goes after him Chad understands that the church would turn against him. Bro John stand up for what you know is right.

I can't understand the spin on this blog. People of Trinity, and former people of Trinity, there is one solution to this whole problem. Either STAY and take it, or GO. Our happiness and well being on earth, shouldn't be determined by a man's teachings.

Trinity brought Chad to Southaven, knowing he and Michele were both hypercalvanists. The deacons knew, and Dr. Mahoney (a calvinist) knew. Calvinism is invading the SBC at an alarming rate. Southern is graduating masses every year. Chad will not compromise his position, and address it publicly.

The deacons and staff that chose to stay, knew what we were getting. So why does anyone expect them to do anything. They expect the "chosen lost" to leave, and the chosen FEW that remain will glorify the Lord in peace and tranquility. I just pray Chad can beg them for enough money, to keep the doors open.

If you believe that an infant can die in an accident, and be sent to hell, because of "limited atonement", you need to stay. If you believe that you were chosen by God for salvation by "irresistable grace", and your children may spend eternity in hell, because they may not have been, you need to stay. If you believe that those who have been divorced, conceived a child out of wedlock, or committted adultery are eternally damned because God would never have allowed that to happen to one of his "chosen". Stay.

If you believe Jesus was sent to earth to die, and take the sin of ALL who believe, you are in the wrong place. If you believe Jesus loved ALL, and offers salvation to ALL men and women who ask him to be their savior, you are in the wrong place. If you believe in free will, you are in the wrong place.

There should be no hate towards the current staff, for their beliefs. Noone should doubt their salvation, because their beliefs may be different than yours. We should love ALL, as Christ loved us. They say they have "sound doctrine". Good for them, but they will be standing in line with everyone else, on judgement day.

Life is to short to be stressing over the issues at Trinity. Find a Bible based Southern Baptist Church. Get involved in missions, or wherever you feel lead to serve our Lord. Put your tithe and physical effort into a church that loves the Lord, ALL men and women, and makes you feel good serving Him.

Trinity is becoming a "9 marks" church, and will be ruled with an iron fist. If you're not familiar with the term, Google it. "Master Teachers" are just the beginning, and all women will have their place. If you want to be subservient to a MAN and his chosen leaders, stay. If you want to find peace with God, relish in the grace He offers to all, and ENJOY serving a risen Saviour; take Chad's advice and go find it.

I pray that the hate and animosity stops, and that all eventually find love and happiness in whatever church body they choose. Peace and true love to all.

I agree with everything you posted, with one exception:

TRINITY...meaning the membership of Trinity....DID NOT KNOW!!

If, as you state, "Trinity brought Chad to Southaven, knowing he and Michele were both hypercalvanists", "The deacons knew, and Dr. Mahoney (a calvinist) knew" and "The deacons and staff that chose to stay, knew what we were getting", that makes me even more heartsick.

Why on earth would they put a man before us for a vote and leave out that vital bit of information?

Would that 85%, who voted for him, have done the same? They/we (in the case of our family, one voted yes, the other voted no), put all their concerns aside, trusted the PSC that they had thoroughly checked him out and resolved all the 'red flag' issues and determined that poor Chad was the victim of malicious attacks.

The Calvinism or Hypercalvinism issue was never mentioned. Heaven help us when brothers and sisters inside our churches feel they have to lie to us? Omission, when one knows that what they are omitting is a necessary fact, is a LIE.

Who can you trust on this earth if you cannot trust the Pastor (I use that word lightly, as it pertains to Chad) and the lay leaders in ones church?

The fact that Chad withheld that information from the congregation doesn't surprise me. He had the opportunity when he stepped into that pulpit to level with us, to stand up for his beliefs (if they are worth believing, they are worth proclaiming) and to give us the opportunity to choose him knowing it. Oh, I forgot, there is no such thing as "free will" in his world! There never will be a choice about anything at Trinity with him in the lead.

But if the PSC, deacons, staff or anyone in leadership at Trinity knew this and concealed it, I'm even more concerned about that. This is their family! How could they do that to us, knowing that when we found out, it was going to rip the church apart. Where was their love for Trinity?

There were many good men out there who could have filled out pulpit and Trinity could be thriving right now. Believe me, when the "Chosen Lost", who pay most of the bills for keeping the doors open at Trinity, decide for themselves that they have been duped, Chad may have himself a building, but he's going to have pile of debt to go along with it. Dig deep, you "Chosen Elect"...you are going to have to ante up big time. When you can't support it alone and can't come up with his six figure salary, he will move on and shake you off his feet like dust.

There are many of us waiting on the sidelines, trying not to be "troublemakers", but preparing to move on if the Deacons don't man up, right this wrong and do it quickly!

How Sad! How Very Sad!

The leadership and Search Committee was very aware of this Everson and all those disciples of his who are Calvinist.

I know for a fact there was several screaming about it to leaders and members in the short time you had to evaluate him.

Chad, like all other Calvinist, would probably deny that they believe in that junk anyway.

But you definitely had people there that contacted those in GA and Fla, who read websites, and who made phone calls to those who knew this man and his family well.

They just did not listen

Anonymous said...

Wake up people, when the search committee came before the church to vote on Chad, his salary was more than most member make, we wer asked to pay for his house in Florida at the price of $1800 per month for one year, in a market at the time was flat. I voted against bringing Chad to our church due to the amount of pay and perks the search committee had agreed on. Must be a lot of high dollar folks in Trinity that don't have a clue some people don't make a 6 figure income. I personally have left and moved my family to another church. This is not only Chad's fault, it is the search committee for not listening. The vote was so bogus, I still don't think you can count than may votes in 30 minutes.

Anonymous said...

This is just plain Dumb and Stupid! I am very active at Trinity or may I say WAS very active. I talked to A.B. and B.R. on the PSC and asked about Chad before he came and after the vote. They all said he was a very dynamic pastor who loved the people. He was passionate about the lost and healing the members. He loved the choir and he felt that missions should start in the church... spill out to the community....then the world. The two members that I spoke personally to did not know about the truth of who Chad is. They were told that none of what was said was true and that this blog was made up by men who just did not like him. They did not know he was a Calvinist. Even the head of the PSC has said they had no idea that was how he was and regrets it but knows they can do nothing about it.

I sat under Dr. Mahony for two turns of him filling in and he is not a Calvinist. He has trouble seeing that any staff can be wrong. He was also in a place that he could not hire and fire. I do know that Dr. Mahoney told the PSC to pass on Chad due to the fact that there were so many red flags. The PSC allowed Chad to smooze them and lie his way in. Chad is a LIAR. He knows how to con people to do what he wants.

I also do not believe that the SBC has gone Calvinist. There are to many awesome men of God leading large and small churches that have very few problems that are not Calvinist.

Anonymous said...

TO: Anon 10:33

I tend to believe your take on the PSC involvement and Dr. Mahony not being Calvinist.

I, too, sat under Dr. Mahony's teaching and there was never a hint of anything resembling Calvinist doctrine in his sermons. He seems to be an honorable, godly man and he did a lot of good for Trinity.

The PSC were a group of devoted, praying men and women, who love Trinity and wanted only the best for us. I cannot believe they would ever have deliberately brought Chad to us if they had known of his theology or his abrasive personality. They must be more heartbroken than any of us.

Chad can be so charming when he wants to be, and they were allowed to see only that side of him. After all, aren't we all on our best behavior when we are trying to get something we desperately want? He's human, but the young man has a lot to learn about being a pastor and being open. I truly believe, if he was called to be a minister, it was supposed to be as an evangelist.

IMO, a pastor should have a warm, loving heart toward his people; all his zeal should be toward bringing the true Word of God...sin, hell, conviction included..nothing that the Bible says should be left out...; but, do it with love, not animosity. The very same words that come out of Chad's mouth sounding like "chip on the shoulder", accusatory and mean spirited, could be said by the likes of Charles Stanley, David Jeremiah, or Adrian Rogers and would sound loving.

It's all in the attitude. He treats us like he doesn't like us specifically and all Baptists collectively. Maybe it's our traditional belief that is angering him so much.

Whatever the mistakes were in the past, the leadership of Trinity still has an opportunity to correct it all by facing it and solving it. If they would just have the courage to insist that Chad face the church, tell us his position on Calvinism, then let us have a recall vote to see if Trinity wants that, it would solve the entire situation.

If the majority wanted Calvinism taught to their children and themselves, then so be it. The ones who don't could make an informed decision to leave and all could move forward.

It's just very demeaning to be treated like a bunch of immature children who can't handle the truth. Leaders, we are not dumb, we are adults and we can handle the truth. Give it to us and let us move on if we have to, but don't keep hiding behind the veil of secrecy. By acting so hush-hush and secretive, you are the ones creating the gossip and rumor, which are nothing more than fear and uncertainty coming from a congregation that you all promised to defend and protect when you assumed those positions of responsibility.

You have a covenant with us. Honor it!

Dr Who said...

I thought the Deacons were elected by the church to REPRESENT the CHURCH, Not a Cult leader.

Sounds like Trinity will be stuck with him unless you do something to get rid of him. He said on his last blog

"I am really excited to see what God is going to do in the life of our church in the coming years."

Now that is scary!

Anonymous said...

We must have a RE-VOTE. If it was God's will for Chad to be here then he will still be voted in if not then we can give him the boot. Tell him to leave like he has told so many of us. We also want a STAND UP VOTE! I want to see how his face looks when he sees 85% say NO!

Dr Who said...

People need a silent or paper vote with "normal" non leadership members counting the votes.

Otherwise, they would do like his dad did with the Deacon elections
- where they picked who HE wanted whether they got the votes or not - and fix the results anyway.

Those within the Baptist Mafia stop at nothing when it comes to continuing the CULT growth.

Anonymous said...

I think that if Chad was not afraid he would be honest and want a new vote to end all of this. Well Chad What do you think?

Anonymous said...

Chad is a liar, but we are all human and have a sinful nature. Public repentance, in the pulpit, is the only thing that should be able to save his fate now. With trust being a major component in ministry, it still may be too late.

I have personally caught him in two lies, and that is just me. I love him as a brother in Christ, but he should not be allowed to preach at Trinity any longer.

I have had discussions with people involved with the SBC, and they have said a council can be called to investigate his deception, if the leadership body of the church calls for it. Trinity is also an autonomous church, and enough leaders have to request it, for it to take place. Our leaders will not do that; because they wanted, and probably still want Chad here. It has been said, by leaders, "he would revive the church, or break it". Basically they were relying on CHANGE (Obama-style) to bring the church back. It is failing, gentleman. People are still leaving in droves, and that $2.5 million debt will soon get it.

His Calvinism has been addressed by other Southern Baptist pastors and staff in our area. It has been unanimous that he is Calvinist, and one even said he is extreme hypercalvinist. That is why missions has NEVER been close to the top of his priority list. He only wants to stand in the pulpit, scream, let God bring the lost to him, and deposit his unearned paycheck.

Only recently has missions even been brought up, and it is being overseen by the children's minister. He has even said that WE will only participate or partner in missions with groups that "share OUR same doctrine" (Calvinism). It is one of their last ditch efforts to try to persuade the people to give even more, to keep their ministry going. The two most active missions leaders have recently left the church, anyway. Who is going to step up, and take their place?

As previously posted, if we want to save our church, and get back all those who are wandering around visiting other churches. We have to have some type of recall vote. Bring in the SBC to oversee it. No hard feelings Chad, but you have deceived and hurt too many since you have been here. Either be a man and resign, or give the church body an opportunity to choose. If it is God's will that you stay, you will be re-elected. If it isn't, accept it, and move on.

Praying daily that God's will be done.

Faithful Member Oh yea Chad I am still here! said...

I totally agree with the last post. I feel that one thing is in question though I feel that a lot if the staff would be in favor of Chad leaving. The problem is that they have had their jobs threatened so that they fear him. THAT is ALL the PSC and personnel committee's fault. NO ONE at TBC knew that they gave away our right to vote to hire staff members. There are men we voted to hire and Chad should not be allowed to fire them without our vote. Those men should understand they would be held as hero's to us if they did what was right and stood up to Chad. They know what he is doing is wrong. I will agree if Chad still feels he was called here from God he should not be afraid of a new vote. If he wins again with 87% of the vote(counted by non deacons or staff members with poll watchers) I will leave and never look or post here again.
He was not brought here to make or break out church he was brought here to pastor our church and he has not done his job. He needs to be gone or he will do the later and BREAK the CHURCH.

I just read the churches blog. Chad is praising the women's ministry. Well that is no surprise the ones in charge are his wife and the ones she has brainwashed. It makes me sick and I would love to right the wrong of Chad coming by voting no now.

Anonymous said...

Maybe if we all signed a petition then the deacons would have to do something. They can't run us all off. I have thought about calling the paper. It helped Bellevue and Germantown Bapt when the news got involved. Maybe then the staff and deacons would see that the members have had enough. We are not lost or troublemakers and we are sick and tired of being yelled at. No one wants to be hurt and I don't want to see Chad and Michele hurt either but they could care less about us and it is time he left. We are paying him 3 figures to hate us. I don't make near what he does and I have done more than Chad has ever done out of love for Trinity. I always remember the golden rule when dealing with others and that includes Chad. I do unto others as I want them to do to me. Chad has treated me the way he wants me to treat him so Bye Bye Chad.

Hey, Women's Ministry participants:

Let us know on here when you get the word that Susan Hunt's book,

"SPIRITUAL MOTHERING: THE TITUS 2 MODEL FOR WOMEN MENTORING WOMEN"

is promoted to you either as recommended reading or maybe even your source material.

It's the latest, greatest thing being promoted by 9Marks (Ever heard of the T4G Conference or that hush-hush word, Calvinism??)

To see for yourself, Google "9Marks" or "T4G 2010" and open your eyes.

The transitioning that Trinity is undergoing is following their model. Prove it to yourself.

Check out their "Answers For Pastors" section and read a while. It's enlightening.

Careful Chad, even though you deny it, your Calvinism is showing.

Nice touch having Steve Green in to promote your agenda. You know....,"predestination" slipped right in there. Some probably didn't even realize it. You know, if it's repeated to a congregation often enough, pretty soon they aren't even going to notice...will seem normal, won't it?

Was Brainwashing 101 where that little trick was taught?

Only thing...sure seemed odd not having an invitation to accept Christ at the end...was that a faux pas or intentional?

Ooops, forgot...The Elect don't need to be invited, do they?

Please God, protect us from false doctrine!

Chad Jesus came to offer salvation to all. Not everyone who hears will accept but it is up to that person to choose not yours or mine. We can't make Heaven our own personal country club for only "Chad" types of people. If God only wanted certain people saved he would have not have sent HIS son to die brutally on a cross. Please Chad God LOVES all not just some.

I went to a sister BAPTIST church in Southaven today and heard something that Chad needed to hear. If we say we LOVE GOD and not like or hate others then we DO NOT LOVE GOD. If we have God's love in us it will show in how we treat others. Chad don't tell me you love Trinity or her members as you scream and yell at us and show how much you don't like us.

I love the LOVE I felt this morning and I think it may be easier to move on than I thought. It was wonderful to feel like I was welcomed and I loved hearing a message on how to help win others by how I show them God's LOVE. Hmmmm something to think about Chad!

Anonymous said...

That is true Chad will only stay as long as he can get paid. We were told in the Bible to be good stewards of God's money. Giving it to Chad is disobeying that command. I am so tired of all the people getting paid and paid well and we have nothing but empty pews, empty choir loft, empty baby beds, empty Sunday School rooms, empty parking lots, and an empty headed man screaming at us and getting paid very well to do it. We only had 34,000.00 given last week which is still a lot but it takes almost 60,000.00 per week to make budget. I do hope he is being a good steward with the money given. I think we should have an audit done. I want a re-vote and I vote No on Chad. He lied to get hired and has done more harm than good here. It is time for a come to Jesus meeting and we must tell the deacons to do what is right for the church and send Chad packing.

Dr Who said...

$34,000 in one week? O M G he has a gold mine.

And YOU think he is going anywhere? NO way!!

This CULT is ready for take off in Southaven MS

He will cut out all kinds of missions, programs, and church functions to maintain paying those salaries and benefits for him, his family, buddies.

600 families giving the way he has them thinking is plenty.

It needs to be cut to $3400.00, now that will get his attention!

Anonymous said...

A meeting is definitely in order. He has already cut all ministries, and is still considering an assistant pastor. He doesn't do anything, but stand in the pulpit and scream his gospel. 34,000 a week will barely cover church payroll, since it is half of the budget. ???????

I guess he'll have to eliminate some more compensated positions. Those who have been divorced should be praying. Have they found enough nursery and AWANA volunteers ?

Just the interest on the debt is about 15,000 a month, and he wishes he had 600 families. He barely has 600 people left. Half of those probably aren't tithing, because they don't support what Chad is doing, but don't want to leave THEIR church. School is back in, summer is over, and people aren't vacationing any longer. Where are all those people, Chad? They are visiting churches all over the county waiting on you and Michele to leave.

Chad needs to take his ministry and start is own church, with "his" gospel. Call it the Church of Chad, or whatever. That would require some effort though, and I can't see that happening.

Praying for peace and mercy to all those God-fearing, loving people still at Trinity.

Anonymous said...

most of us are right in thinking Chad needs to Go. He isn't aman of God. He has no understanding of Love , if he did then he could show it instead of the way he acts to everyone. It would be better for Trinity to close and Chad's "ministry" to be over with where no one else would ever hire Him then to allow this man to move on to destroy another Church of God

Anonymous said...

A-Men Stop his money and give it to another church doing God's work or save it up until Chad leaves. He makes too much money and does too little for it.

Anonymous said...

I think a come to Jesus meeting is what we need. I think we should have a meeting and demand the deacons do the right thing. I also think that answers should be answered honestly on the authority given to Chad to hire and fire who and when he wants for any reason. I also want answers about the numbers going down and the employees going up. It is time to down size and we can start with the nursery, office help who sit around and gossip and do very little. I also want an independent research done on all the things he lied about at his other churches. I would like to see him come forward with his goals for the next few years and his type of preaching. I think we should vote on going Calvinist. Jett was going to vote on us going contemporary. If I had my choice give me Jett.

Something MUST happen soon and this madness stopped.

Anonymous said...

This is the last time I'm checking on this blog. Bless all of your hearts! Trinity got exactly what they deserved. You ran Bro. Jim off because you all listened to and spread gossip like wildfire. Bro. David did not want to vote on going contemporary, he wanted the church to make one of its' morning services contemporary. Many of you, including scared choir members would not stand for it. You made secret phone calls and tried to discourage and run the staff off. You couldn't stand that you might not get to "run" the church like "you" wanted to. It has NEVER been your church. It is supposed to be God's church. Last time I checked, God didn't need any help. I do not think Chad is there to build the church. I think he is there as a consequence for the past sins and attitudes of the big white church on the corner. After being members for nearly 15 years, my family left when you ran off Bro. David. We could no longer handle the gossip groups in the foyer every single Sunday morning. Everybody's gone now, except you who thought you could have church just like YOU wanted and those who support Chad. I suggest you start a church in one of your living rooms. You can then have church just like you want. Let God take the old Trinity down and then rebuild it from the ground up to His Glory.

To the person who said Bless your hearts, David Jett was wanting us to become a purpose driven Church and go completely comtemporary. This is fact. That is the reason some of the people left. He Tried to divide the Church. He did cause a rift, but Chad has opened it up like a caynon. People got scared about us going on that long without a pastor when Chad was interviewed. The only thing The Vangaurd of Trinity is guilty of is not doing a better job of checking Chad out. David Jett was either going to have it his way or he was going to leave. So he did. Know the real facts before ya come on here or it is Just Gossip. I have been a member here since 1978. I was there behind the sceens when the meeting took place about what we should do about the situation with Jett. The vision that Has always been Trinity's vision was praising God, reaching people for God, Praising God through Music, Serving the community, having outreach to everyone from Singles to the nursery, to the youth,to the Senior adults. I believe the song goes People need the Lord. Not the "elect" but everyone. I have seen this old Girl go through a lot and she still isn't gone yet, key word yet. Chad is out for power and control. He is a HyperCalvinist. His fruits are not the same as the fruits of the spirit. He has never shown the people of Trinity love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. He has no love in him nor a love for the people he is suppost to be ministering to. Chad isn't a man of God. Still praising Him in this Storm, Fromoer staff member

Chad real smart about calling the Deacons and telling them that the meeting tomorrow night was going to be a Chad bashing. Only thing we were gonna discuss was the direction the church was heading. This Storm is getting bigger and it isn't going to go away. True trinity members who are children of God stand fast and hold Strong. Jesus has heard us in this storm and he is still with us. Johnny canceled the meeting for tomorrow night

Anonymous said...

****Okay Trinity family it breaks my heart to tell you this but the meeting for Tuesday night at Trinity has been canceled.****

For those who knew and for the ones who did not here is the scoop. Several people contacted Johnnie O'Daniel about having a meeting at the church with the deacons. Johnnie being the chairman of the deacons said yes he would get a key and him and some deacons would meet. They were told that several members were very concerned about the direction the church is headed and concerned over all that is going on and people leaving. Well there were going to be many people who love Trinity and want to do something to save her before it is to late. As a matter of fact over 150+ members were planning to attend.

Today Johnnie called one of the members and told them that the meeting must be canceled. He said that an UNKNOWN MAN called several deacons and told them not to go. It was going to just be a Chad bashing meeting and must be stopped. The people told Johnnie that phone calls had been made and there were going to be many coming. Johnnie said " I'm sorry but I can't get involved and you can't have the meeting." The head of the deacons CAN'T GET INVOLVED????? This was a Chad thing. I am sure that the UNKNOWN MAN was Chad or one of his copy cats.

Then Johnnie told the people that if this was just about the Calvinism that that was not true. He again told them HE COULD NOT GET INVOLVED.

This was a meeting to address the concerns that many have had since Chad came. He has frightened the deacons and staff and now he will come after all who oppose him. Another meeting WILL take place it will be off Trinity property and Chad can't stop us. This is what he really is a church bully and he has scared many BIG men in our church but remember David was just a small shepherd boy when he brought down the giant. Please keep in touch and patient friends all is not lost. When the new meeting place is located you will be informed.

I just read Chad's blog on TBC site. He is talking about speaking the truth in love. It shocked me that he was talking about truth and also love. Two things he knows nothing about. In the post he quoted a man Dietrich Bonehoeffer. Well so much has been said about some of Chad's Calvinist friends that I thought I would check out this man. I Googled him and found out all about him.

1. He questioned the virgin birth and in reality denied it.

2. He denied the deity of Christ.

3. He denied the sinlessness of Christ's human nature and further questioned the sinlessness of His earthly behavior.

4. He believed that Christianity is not exclusive...i.e. that Christ is NOT the only way to God.

5.He believed the book of Genesis was scientifically naive and full of myths.

6. He placed little or no value on the Old Testament...The faith of the Old Testament is not a religion of salvation.

This was the worse one...

7. He had no faith in the physical resurrection of Jesus. He believed it was all a MYTH of Christianity.

Don't take my word Google him and see. It was under his general teachings.

All this to point out that why would the so called pastor of ours put a quote on the web site from a man who is so Unchristian. There are so many Godly men who have millions of quotes out there and Chad chose this mans. Please Chad you did not want Phillips Craig and Dean singing at TBC because they weren't "Our Type of People" but you quote a man who did not believe in Christ.

Maybe this many sound petty but many members have been attacked for much less from Chad and Michele and this bothers me. See Chad now everything you say and do and write is under the microscope. You did this to yourself.

Watching You said...

Stand firm, people of God. Do what God is leading you to do. The Lord says, “Fear Not.” The battle is His, but you were called to put on armor for a reason. Armor up, the fight is the fiercest just before the end.

Many across this country are praying for you. Do not keep quiet as Christians around the world need to know when wolves in sheep’s clothing are attacking the church.

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.

Yes Chad called off the meeting. He is mad because it will be his way and his church. We are out for a fight. And for the record David wanted the 10:45 service to be cont. and if we wanted a traditional service we had to go at 8:00. I loved Bro Jim and I enjoyed David Jett. The choir was not afraid of Jett nor did they want to run the church. I wish they were back. I wish Rod was back and I want Chad, Jeff , Jon, and Clay GONE! This is God's church and not mine I have never claimed it as mine but Chad thinks it is all his and it is NOT!!

Face it Chad. Your Gravy Train will SOON derail. You can only call off so many meetings. You'll have to pay the bills soon, because the congregation won't be there to pay them for you.

I'd hate for Michele to be a working mom, like so many of the other loving, godly mothers in your congregation. Your boys may have to attend the pagan, lost lead Desoto County Schools.

It won't be long.

Chad missed another fine quote from his bud, Dietrich Bonehoeffer:

"The first service that one owes to others in the fellowship consists of listening to them. Just as love of God begins with listening to His Word, so the beginning of love for our brothers and sisters is learning to listen to them."
From: Life Together

Hmmmmm....think on that one.

Clay Cox is a huge disciple of the Everson's from Warner Robins Ga so BEWARE of this man wolf too.

Those within the Baptist Mafia and their disciples are everywhere. The list is long.

Wonder if the Ga Baptist Convention and Robert White will do like they have done with the King Deceiver Mike Everson and hide this Everson and his disciples out too in the swamps of South GA soon.

Sorry Bunch folks, these men are a sorry bunch!

Yes it was Chad who called and TOLD the deacons not to have this meeting. He even left a message with one deacon with the mans mother. Chad knows he is wrong because he would have tried to bring the church back together when he first got here instead of ripping it open more and pouring salt into the wound. Chad lied to get hired and he is lying now. by doing this he has just shown all of us what he is and how things will continue as long as Chad stays. Thanks so much PSC for bringing this down on us. I knew we were in for trouble when one of the deacon's wives wanted to be on the committee and with very few vote she was placed on it. Things MUST change.

The saddest thing about this entire situation is that men like Chad are making a mockery of "called by God".

Always in churches, when one pastor leaves and another is called, there is an element of sadness. When a pastor leaves, it is either that the church is losing someone it has loved or freeing itself of one who has hurt them.

They are so hopeful that God has answered prayer and is sending them "His man", who will love them and help them heal.

It is a cruel blow when you realize money was the reason the new pastor came, that he used deception about his beliefs to be selected, and that "called by God" was nowhere near the process.

God's Word warns us that there will be people like that.

Trinity, He's testing us. Our discernment must grow from this experience.

In defense of the PSC. There's no reason to believe that those people, who gave so much of themselves in that work, would have deliberately done this to us. They were deceived just like we were.

We're in this together. Let's let them know they have our full support if they want to right the wrong that was done to ALL of us.

That is true I was one who loved Bro. Jim and hated to see him go. I have said it before that his down fall was hiring Mike H. and him trying to run the church like he did Bell South. Now we are stuck with Angie who has been the down fall of the Nursery. David Jett was a wonderful preacher but was not a pastor. He just did not know how to deal with the people. He could run the money end but the problems and people he could not. He also allowed two of his employees to split the church in half. Senior adults and younger members. This did not work. Chad came in knowing the hurts and said he loved all. He adored the senior adults and all the other hot air that has been posted. Yes Chad we welcomed you and could not wait for us to be a complete church again. What you did was a sin and you will answer for it one day.

Deacons you better get involved. This is just crazy. Chad can't fire you and better not fire any other staff member for standing up for the truth and what is right. I think Chad knows the the party is coming to an end.

I am having a very hard time understanding why our deacons are allowing Chad to order them NOT to be concerned about the church. Members are leaving and money is down. Chad has lied and they know it. I am very upset to hear that Johnny O'Daniel said He could not get involved. That is the problem they need to get involved. They don't care and are just afraid of that small little man. Man Up and do the job you were voted to do and help the members overcome this bully.

Guess they - (the deacons)- are going to let CHAD destroy Trinity like his dad did while at Prays Mill and allow the membership to go from 700+ at Prays Mill down to the 95 who recently attended.

They really know how to build churches - the "other ones" in an adjacent area!

Wake up dear people. The deacons are BEHIND Chad. They are not going to do ANYTHING. The only way you are going to get any action is to stop going to THEIR church. Send your tithe to St Jude, or some other organization that does God's work. There's no reason to worry over this entire situation. Worry is sin. The prince of darkness is wreaking havoc on Trinity now, with the dissention and division.

If you want your church back, find a nice church of loving people, and praise God with them for a while. Send your tithe to wherever you feel the Lord leads you to. I'm sure they will put it to better use than Chad.

The deacons are expecting to have a congregation of 300 or so. Oblige them. If those 300 can't pay the bills, they'll have to sell the church, move to a smaller building, and live happily ever after paying Chad's giant salary.

If you want to go to church with your lip poked out and sulk because nothing is being done, do it. It will distract from your walk with God, and the whole reason we worship a living Savior. If you want to feel the love and fellowship of fellow believers, try another church this Sunday. Maybe the leaders will wake up, when they actually see what a congregation of 300 really looks like.

Praying for God's guidance, and peace in this storm, to all of God's children.

Hey Chad the little cracking noise you think you keep hearing is your little "Ministry" coming apart. Chad be ready God's wrath is approaching

A deacon's wife told me yesterday that Chad has informed then that he is their BOSS and they must stand with him. Chad has also called a mandatory deacons meeting for tonight after church. He will tell them all not to talk to anyone about any problems and to give him the names for him to talk to or what he really means to deal with the troublemakers. I expect to see a BIG show Sunday with Chad making the deacons stand up behind him. He is demanding they do this and has threatened them. Well we MUST not buy this. The deacons just like when Jett did this will be forced to stand up out of fear that they will destroy the church. He will make them think it is their fault when we all know that CHAD is the one doing this.

Tell the deacons we are behind them not allowing Chad to rule us. A pastor shepherds his people not rules them with an iron hand.

Deacons JUST SAY NO TO CHAD!!!!!!!

Trinity family we need to understand the reason for this blog site. It was because he walked into a church in Florida under the same welcoming as we gave him and in 4 short years he had ruined it. They found out that he had done the same to a church in Ga. and they wanted to warn any other churches before he could ruin them. The PSC did not listen and we did not listen to the staff and deacons who told us not to vote on him and now after a year and a half he has almost done the same here. It will happen to us and he is going to go for elders soon. Ones that he only chooses and we do not vote on that he can fire and be their boss. This must stop now!

It is the Everson way.

1.Find out who opposes them

2.Demand loyalty

3.Threaten to leave if opposition is there, but really will not if pushed

4. Demand 6 month severance and other ridiculous benefits to go

5. Send out resumes secretly - (Danny Watters at the GBC is such the good friend)

6. Keep that little black book close by to update.

7. Make the Deacons show the church they "approve" of his CULT tactics ( remember the statement by Mike Everson to Doug that he did like Indians used to do with their chief and made them fight for the the chief, (MIKE) circles his Deacons to fight for him, so he does not have to do the battles with the opposition)

8.Use small children programs to awe the church and soften opposition

9. Uses Sr Adults and the "almost home to see the Lord" threats, preaching and teaching to scare them into his way of thinking. He has them thinking "don't oppose a man of GOD" when in reality he IS NO MAN Of GOD

10. Has the "DOG and PONY Show" on stage starring "tears, applause and all" to get that raise and approval feeling throughout the church to show the CHURCH -
"see we are Oooo K"

Trinity family, Chad is in his 'circle the wagons' mode.

Deacons, please see that this man is being the worst kind of bully. He's loud, arrogant, brash and pushy, but underneath all that bravado, he must be very insecure. Maturity may change that, but Trinity doesn't have the time for him to grow up.

If he was a real Pastor, he would never have to threaten anyone. All these loyalty oaths and shows of support are methods used by a man who knows he does not deserve and has not merited your support by his actions and his heart.

A real Pastor would have your respect and cooperation because of his godliness, because of the love he had shown his congregation and the respect and appreciation he had shown you for serving alongside him, not by dictating to you. This is not the Army and he is not your drill sargeant.

He's making a mockery of the Biblical service of a Deacon. He's attempting to make you nothing more than puppets to do his dirty work, to be his tattletales and enforcers.

Please, please don't let him do this! Defend Trinity!

The majority of the church is behind you and if you do what he wants...isolating yourselves from us, the people you are supposed to be shepherding and caring for...he will have succeeded in the most evil of ways. By being a BULLY.

He's just one man! We are hundreds! This is not Biblical! Where does the scripture say "don't talk to your church members about anything"????

So much for Peacemaking. Chad is the chief Troublemaker. It's odd that he is the one pushing peacemaking all the time. Instead of bringing us peace and loving leadership, his agenda to own and rule church has brought more trouble than we've ever known. Maybe he came here because of our vulnerability? It's easier to manipulate a group at their weakest point.

Please do not let us down by handing him the church that has been built with our love, labor, faith and tithes. All those who sacrificed so that Trinity could exist are waiting for you to defend them and us. Do not forget their sacrifice.

I hope Chad threatens to leave. We will be happy to pay him what he gave J.Bell when he fired him and have a farewell fellowship in his honor and say bye.

OK Chad you can't fire me and you are not the BOSS of Trinity GOD IS!

Bring It On!

Deacons, if you and the PSC do not stand up this time, it will be the opposite of what Chad is telling you. You will be destroying Trinity by not standing up.

There are hundreds out here poised and waiting to see what you, OUR
Deacons, our shepherds, will do. You are our last line of defense. If you and the PSC do not defend us from this man, it will be like turning a wolf loose on the flock.

I promise you, the flock will scatter...most of us already have churches selected...and you will be left with a pile of debt, a raving Calvinist pastor, and one who will be further emboldened to rule with an iron fist.

He will be so proud that he's gotten rid of all the troublemakers and you that are left will have seen your future if you ever ask a question.

The meeting that we were not allowed to have with you was very simple. We only wanted to ask our Deacons these questions:

1. Do you understand Calvinism as a doctrine?

2. Are you were aware that Chad is Calvinist?

3. Has he been asked and has he denied it?

4. If he has denied it, have you looked at all the Calvinism evidence in plain sight?

5. Will Trinity be transitioned to a Calvinist church?

Those are simple questions with simple answers...yes or no...and no Chad bashing intended. He is free to believe as his heart leads him, but he is not free to lie to an entire church family about something as basic as his theology.

This congregation, which is the source for every dollar that operates this church and all the volunteer effort it takes to make it work, deserves to know.

We need that information...simple truth...and we could then make an informed decision with one of three choices:

1. Will Chad be asked to leave and find himself a Calvinist congregation?

2. Can we remain and sit under Calvinist teaching and allow him to run every aspect of the church including the financial areas?

3. Do we leave our beloved church that we helped build, with the Lord's blessings, and move on?

So simple..but it has dwindled into an ugly all out battle over a yes or no answer that should have been known before he ever stepped into our pulpit.

Calvinism is at the root of all this. They believe in all this ultimate authority for the Pastor and when he gets his handpicked Elders in place you Deacons will no longer exist. He will have no respect for you because he will know you were weak and let him use you. That's how bullies think.

Trinity will never be anything but trouble after that. Dictatorships get old fast and sooner or later some man is going to stand up to him and it will all begin again.

Look at his trail of garbage...Byron, GA and Starke, FL are still trying to pick up the pieces and heal the wounds he left on them.

3 churches--3 states--3 with massive problems--3 in total turmoil--3 with focus diverted from the Lord--3 drowning in the drama that surrounds one man--SAME PASTOR--the common denominator!

That many people cannot be that wrong!

Trinity, we need to be praying for our Deacons today like never before. They need to know we care for what they are going through, that we are behind them and that we beg them to stand up for Trinity and protect it.

We also need to pray that God will soften Chad's heart and show him a better way to minister with a pastor's heart.

We voted for him, we welcomed him and his family, we tried to love him even though he didn't return it, we trusted him but he has hidden so much from us...even his true beliefs...and he has used manipulation and secrecy for his own goals.

He didn't need to control us...if only he had loved us as a pastor is supposed to and put aside his agenda of transitioning us to Calvinism, this could have been his first real church.

We have paid him well..more salary than 39 of the governors in the U.S....and still, he dislikes us and shows us his contempt by telling our Deacons not to talk to us.

In addition to being Deacons, some of these men are our personal friends. Is that love to ask friends to distance themselves from each other? He is a destroyer.

It's so sad....and Chad, Trinity is being destroyed..by you. This time, there is no gossip or rumor mongering. The Trinity family is trying to defend itself, just as you would defend your own family. You may not view us as part of your family, but we are one.

Trinity has been hurt too much and it will not survive the split this will cause. You have no idea the hurt you are causing. May God have mercy on you for this.

This writer has said everything in my heart. I am finished. I, and many others just like me will be waiting.

I did not realize how bad things were until I went to another church this past Sunday. I saw so many people I knew that I felt at home. I heard a message that spoke to my heart to help me grow as a Christian. I remember when we were like that at Trinity and long to feel God's presence there again. I don't think we will until Chad leaves.
