Does this mean Chad is Looking for a new job??????? I hope so but since he just bought a house I guess we can't be that lucky. But I guess he could sell himself enough that another church would pay for his house in Florida and in Olive Branch.
I hope where ever he goes, he takes the rest of the thugs with him....I am sure the children's guy will follow, he always does, and the music guy needs to follow him too. It was one of Chad's "demands" when he came that he bring the children's minister. What about that is "God leading" anyone to a church? Just ONE of the red flags that apparently NOBODY saw or maybe just ignored.
Oh yes they just IGNORED all the red flags. I hope other churches look closer and by that I mean I hope that other churches don't call him and by him looking that TBC will "Man Up" and fire him. If he was called by God to be here then we would not be in such shape in only 1 year! He can say what he wants but the only people who talk in his favor do it from an anonymous stand point which leads me to think they are him or his wife or the Summers.
Yes people on the TBC site keep praising Chad not the only one keeping the church from falling down. That is Jesus. Stop following the man and look to the Lord. TBC was not in this shape 6 years ago. When Bro. Jim left he left with all the money in the black and now it is just sad. It took Chad moving money around and printing the statement before paying any bills or payroll just to give him the chance to boast about being in the "BLACK" . Yes we were in the black $2,000.00. That was all. After all the bills and payroll we were down in the "RED" agian.
Also Thanks to the BRAVE MEN who stood up for the fact that no money was being paid on the principal of the loan for the building. Now Chad has started a campain to pay off the debt. WOW! We have wanting this for the last 4years. Chad needs to stop all the spending and hiring more people to do no work!
I have said it for years that the ONLY difference between Actors, Professional Athletes, and many men like these and others within the Baptist Mafia, S B C, G B C - is that these men use GOD, the Bible, guilt and intimidation to obtain their wealth.
These Baptist and Evangelist now run the convention, revivals, and universities as if they are a Sports Franchise or under some kind of Team Ownership or sport's game.
They think they deserve all kinds of perks - income w benefits - for whatever financial rewards and numbers increase they bring to a local church that HIRES them.
And if you cross them....all their disciples and cult member followers attach and provoke you in ways only Satan himself can design, promote, implement and activate.
If you have not been on the inside like I was, you have not seen or heard anything!

I know for a fact many of these men now in the ministry, especially the Baptist ministry bunch, were former athletes in either the higher level schools with sports as the only way to make a name for themselves, stars of High School Sports teams, and / or Collegiate Football, Baseball. and or Basketball wannabe players.
They did not make it to that higher pay level, so what have they done? Turned to the next best thing with a crowd - Ministry!
Many have used the ministry to get themselves to the level that they could not achieve as a Sports Star or Icon, so now they use the Ministry, and in that ministry they can now feel "wanted" and "special" by using GOD, the Bible, guilt, and intimidation and to get their Earthly Rewards - just as they wanted when they played sports trying to get that attention, wealth, and "the lifestyle."
They scratch each others backs and continuously encourage the masses to " wrap and accept " themselves to whatever they and/or their buddies garbage spew out from their mouths while using the PULPITS of the church to lift themselves and their back scratching and Baptist Mafia buddies up.
This is not saying all MINISTERS do this as there are many many small church pastors who do deserve that "STANDING OVATION!"

Folks we better listen to Doug and the others who have lived through all of Chads past treatment of former "Friends" and "Members". Chad will do this and has here at Trinity. He has not changed. He has done it before and he WILL do it here.
The only reason he is begging for more money is because the right person in the church discovered that they have NOT paid anything but intrest on the building and had the church in breach of contract for the loan. He cares nothing for us just in his getting his own way. He will move on and his "friends" will locate him another victim and we will be here just wondering how this happened. We must wake up and act. Watch Him!
If he is so concerned about the church and it's finances, why has he not taken a cut in his salary? One of the former pastors actually did that, unknown to anyone, when the church was having some financial struggles. If Chad is dishonest in one area (and he is), he is certainly going to be dishonest with the church's money. I am just not sure what it is going to take to wake up the leaders of the church.
I am someone who was a member of Trinity since the church opened here in Southaven and he was so hateful to me when I ask him about one of his messages. I asked him about the message on the prodicals son and he went off. He and his friends(some of which were my friends before this happened) made it so that my family left. What he said was a LIE. I am better off for leaving. He is crazy.
I will Praise the day he leaves Trinity Baptist Church of Southaven.Then we may see a light at the end of the tunnel.May God be with us and save us from another tragedy.
I wish I knew why our book keeper left. She loved her job and the church. I have not seen her back. She knows something and I wish the deacons would find out!

The bookkeeper knows something. If the bookkeeper has not been paid off or signed one of their gag order agreements, the bookkeeper has something she needs to report.
But she is really a Godly lady and I don't think she will talk to just anyone. But if the deacons asked her she might. If Chad made her sign something if there is something that needs to come out then she needs to talk to the RIGHT people. But I do understand her wanting to leave and not get involved. The Fear Factor!
I can't believe what I just read. Chad actually wants us to NOT take a vacation and give the money to the church. This would be great if NOT from a man who just took his wife on a cruise(or the Mayo clinic). He also wants us to NOT purchase a new home or car. He just bought a new house. Give a raise or bonus to the church well he got a raise and where is his donation? As a matter of fact he should have NOT given himself a raise with giving down and people leaving. He wants the members to think all is well but so many people are still leaving. Most of the people I have talked to like Brad W. and Jeff S. but do not like Chad or Jon. They have turned him off and they do not like the music at all. The best sugestion he gave was to get a second job and give all the money to the church. WHAT? Chad takes his time off from work and the members should not? There are people in the church who don't have a job and he wants people to get a second job????? There was a time that I would have done anything to help but until someone takes control of spending and keeps track of things we cannot trust giving like that. Chad CHOSE NOT to pay the not like it was susposed to be paid and that is the Finance Committees fault and now we have to fix it. Chad needs to take a pay cut and NO MORE EMPLOYEES!!
This is sad and Chad MUST lead by example and walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Chad you make more than most of the members at TBC and you take a pay cut and then we will see how much you love us. I am not talking about a little pay cut I mean a sacrifice. That is what you are asking of us.
LEAD BY EXAMPLE!! I think it odd that he took his wife on a wonderful cruise and vacation. His kids play sports. He goes out to dinner. Bought a new home in Olive Branch, painted and redecorated it. Gave himself a raise all while telling us we should NOT do any of this. Maybe I am the only person who sees anything wrong here but I do. There have been people telling the deacons for the past few years about the over spending. Even Chad has been told still he spent and spent. Now after someone spoke loud enough they decided to stop. Now we all have to give more to get us out of trouble. Maybe Obama needs to give us a bail out this has been the same kind of spending that comes from Washington. I hope this blogger is correct and he sees the pattern and Chad will soon be gone.

I have not been at Trinity for several months. Last week I had some friends come and visit me. These are people I have known for years. After I told them why I would not be back at Trinity they informed me that I need to take a look at my own heart and if I don't like Chad then I MUST BE LOST! This is crazy! No where in the Bible does it say that I must love CHAD or be lost. The people there are falling into this garbage and it is wrong. People need to pray if the Lord leads you to not have a vacation or sell something to give to the church then you should obey. If Chad tells you to then that is just a man with some cash to raise.My friends expressed a fear for my salvation and I explained that there was no need to because I settled it with Jesus not Chad. Wake Up! This is a CULT and not church. I am so glad I left and I will not go back even if he leaves because I can't trust the leadership that put him in power and allows it to over run the church. Read the Bible I don't think that anyone named Chad wrote any part of it nor was even mentioned in the Bible. Hmmmm I think I will Trust God!!
Chad made his "Yes" Man Greg S. fire another senior adult teacher. Pretty soon there will be no one left. He did it front of the class. We were all mad and hurt and don't know where to turn. It is like he just wants all of us to leave. I think he hates old people. There is no one here to help it is whatever he says right or wrong.
Until Johnny O and Bob Eison And the rest of the deacons take a stand then Trinity is Doomed. We let a monster in and only God can Saves us from Trinity being Destroyed.
My God! You people at Trinity amaze me. He is a pastor, just a man, not a god. You "hired" him...I don't care if you termed it a "call" and believed the Holy Spirit was leading...you still "hired" him. FIRE HIM! You can do it by one of two methods: (1) use the constitution and by-laws to call a business meeting and in that gathering, fire him. (2) Withhold your offerings for as long as it takes. When a man such as Chad isn't paid for a while, he'll start feeling pressure when "honey" can't go shopping, or to the spa, or take those trips she is so fond of. Miraculously, he will "feel the Lord calling" him to another church (Isn't it just wonderful, how the Lord works?). Indirectly, you will have fired him. He will just move on and destroy another unsuspecting congregation, but he will no longer be your problem. So, stop sitting on your hands, complaining, just fire him.
I know how harsh Jim's comments were but they are true. HOLD THE TITHE UNTIL HE LEAVES. He will! He has his protection squad and they will stop any business meeting so stop the money. It has worked before and will agian.
I also do not understand why he has decided to take people off the roll. If we voted them in like his job we should have to vote them out. Going into classrooms and starting trouble by firing teachers is wrong. He finds people he does not like and finds any loop hole to get rid of them. He really is Chad Evilson and I don't know why our deacons don't stop this maddness.
Please pay him more sell your homes and cars. Stop vacations and give away your jewlery and on the way out have a cup of Kool-Aid all is well just like sticking your heads in the sand. I do blame the pastor search committee. They were told and people tried to talk to them and they refused to listen. Guess What yal were lied to and now this is all your fault.
I Vote YES to fire him. It is legal and I think we will be in the right in God's eyes too.
Forget It! People wise up the deacons and leaders will NEVER stand up to Chad. Chad and his wife Michele run everything and they will do what they want when they want and NO ONE will do anything to stop them. It is sad the person who had the e-mails tried to tell them and they did nothing. The receipt person stood up and no one did anything. The people from his last churches (that THEY left in shambles) tried to tell us and no one cared. It is over! Let Chad and the Queen Michele figure out how to fix what they broke. Trinity was hurt when they came and all they have done was pour salt in the wounds and hurt us more.
Nothing has changed since Chad came unless you want to say all the people who have left the church. People he has advised that they were lost by HIS standards. Even one family who he told the woman to divorce her husband because he did not come to church with her. He stll have too many people on staff. We have 3 people who sit in an office on Sunday's and Wednesday's on the clock in their "OFFICE". On the clock doing nothing but gossiping about everyone even Michelle Everson and Carol Anne Summers.I hope the Evilson Patrol doesn't get them. It is just a sad place to be now. I miss all my ex Trinity members. I guess I will leave myself soon.
Why is it that we used to have free concerts for the members and to bring in others. Now we have concerts and the church charges $15.00 per person. Yes this is a small amount to pay in today's concert prices, but I would like to know what the proceeds will go for. We can't do free concerts anymore but can sure hire more staff members. Maybe people need to stay home that concert is a luxery so we are not susposed to spend money on such things. Trinity needs to save BIG BUCKS FIRE CHAD AND JEFF!!!! Send them packing and put their pay towards the debt they helped create.

That should be the motto of all of us Trinity Members who are not happy with Chad and his "GOON SQUAD". Things will not change and it is not up to us to do so. Lets see what has been proven so far:
1. He has ruined 2 churches. 2. He lied about his education. 3. He has run off several hundred church members. 4. Hired a music min. with NO experience and paid him well. 5. Has had many meetings with choir officers and others with threats and has run most of them off. 6. Lied about his dealings with a now convicted sex offender. 7. Fired more Sunday School teachers than we have ever lost in TBC history.
We have lost more members in the past year with very little gain. The churches he came from were in shambles when he left and he has no minsteries that ever showed fruit. You will see him and his evil wife and friends the Summers will do the same to us but not me anymore. Me and my money will go elsewhere. So do what is right LEAVE and allow the rest to fall and know they were wrong.

I have not left as much as Chad told me I had to. Yes I had all the e-mails that he and Michele told me that I had to go before the church for dicipline because I told people that this web site was out here to read. They tried everything to bully me into showing who I was so that I could be made an example. He told me that he would have me exposed and it would only cost $99.00. He lied. I sent out the e-mails at my cost. I mailed them to most of the new and active deacons. I even sent them to the personel committee. I have even more hateful e-mails sent to me. The men that should have stood up and told Bro. Chad that we have never had a pastor treat members this way and that he should not either well NOTHING they just allowed him to continue to bully. Mrs. Becky is a prime example of what they have done. Chad has called her in so many times to make her do what HE DEMANDS that she should have her own parking spot. He has still not had any luck. He wants the older people to leave the church see they know the Bible and know right from wrong. They see through him and the younger people just trust what he says and do not know what the Bible says. The elders are a threat to his empire. I just heard another REAL PASTOR say this past week when someone preaches with an agenda that is something other than God's words they are false prophets. See Chad preaches with his own agenda. He wants more MONEY he is no different that the PTO club. Stop talking about him and his workers.....ect. He tells us that we have to be saved by Chads way not God's way. I also heard very sound advice "If you can't trust your leadership you should leave." There are Great Bible believing churches in Southaven and we all need to attend them. Leave Chad and his menions to their own demise. We are only hurting ourselves and our families by staying and also it looks to him and others that we all LOVE him. Show him the truth go to your Sunday School class (unless he fires your teacher too) THEN GO TO ANOTHER CHURCH AND WORSHIP FOR REAL!!
Bob and Johnny have no pull anymore they are Older and Chad thinks they have no wisdom and like all the other seniors can't make a wise decision. I would like to know how he plans to decide who has not been at church and who needs to be removed from the rolls. I saw someone the other day that I have seen at church in months. She said they have been there just not in Sunday School. So how would they choose by her tithe well she could put cash in the plate. Maybe we should have to check in like they do in the nursery. We could check fingerprints or scan eyes I don't know how to stay on the roll if Chad "Prefernce" is for you to be removed. Sad, This Is America.
I just read on the Trinity website that 64 families gave $500,000.00. Well in Sunday School we were told that about $250,000.00 in money and items were given and that depended on price upon sale. A short time later in Church (about 30min.) the price doubled to $500,000.00. He can say all her wants this past Sunday people left after Sunday School and only about 300 people turned in their cards. He is a LIAR and we can not trust him. He claims that church is better than it has been on 5 years. Well I don't think so! I do not believe him. He will distroy us.
I talked to a young lady two weeks ago who was so depressed. She had talked to Bro. Chad about salvation and then he had her confrence with Michele. This lady knew she was a Christian but after talking with them does not know what to believe anymore. She told me about how came to the Lord many years ago. She had a daily quiet time and prayer life but from what these two people told her she now is depressed and confused. She questions God. This is wrong God tells us how to come to him. It is a simple prayer and a changed heart. Not Chads way. You do not have to attend his 4 weeks of classes to become a Christian. We have to come to Christ with a "Childlike" Faith. Now answer this question....... Who is the arthor or CONFUSSION? I would hate to be Chad on judgement day when he answers for all of this and he will. Michele will answer as well they are both partners in crime.
I heard that the money is down and so are Chad's spirits. He is upset that people are not listening and giving. Well Chad you didn't listen to any of the members and did not care about the people who had been at Trinity some, all of their lives. You felt it good to bully us and run us off. You cannot blaim anyone but yourself. You did this. I know I am "Faithful Member" I talked to both you and your wife. I asked over and over for you to stop yelling and bulling and to love us and all both of you did was spew hate back to me. Well look in the mirror and yell at yourself now. It is YOUR FAULT!!!!!!! Stand firm Trinity Members a pastor loves his members and does what is right. It is time for Chad to learn how to treat the people who voted for him and looked forward to his comming only to be slapped down. Chad you need to pray and change your heart before it is too late. It is not there are good people who still want this to be right but it is up to you now!
*****BEWARE TRINITY FAMILY***** Chad is getting reday to hire his new Asst. Pastor. He will do this no matter what anyone says. He was given the right to hire and fire at his descrssion. He can do this and has said that he only brings for a vote because it is the "Baptist" way. He will do this and all while he is begging for more money to pay the bills that can't be paid now. Stand Firm and a REAL man of God will not come if he does not receive most of the votes but that does not apply anymore at Trinity. Remember Chad did. He do not need more staff members we need several less.
I was glad to see many people at church yesterday but sad too. This was one of the lowest attendances I can remember. We had some first time people visit but Chad in his rudeness probally made it their last visit. He made it a very unhappy Easter. Jesus Rose from the grave and we should have heard all about the GOOD NEWS of JESUS. All the people got was YELLED AT! Chad you are a JOKE!
I don't know if all this blogging is right but after reading all this and knowing how I feel about Bro. Chad I feel better I thought it was just me. I was afraid that maybe I was the one who had a heart problem. Now I know it is not me. I just heard about this yesterday at church and have spent many hours just heartbroken over TBC. All I know is I have been in the Baptist church all my life. I have seen preachers come and go and I have never seen one with this much baggage from other churches that he has been at. I don't know how to get him out but I am really surprised with Jim B. and John C. and Lee P. and all the other successful businessmen that are deacons would sit by and do nothing. I am at such a loss at the number of people who have posted and still he is here.
I thought that just like spring starts new I would too. I went to Longview yesterday and I loved it. I had forgotten how wonderful church was. I will be back there. It felt funny walking in but everyone was friendly not like Trinity where people are so scared that they will not even say hello. I started feeling like I was an outsider in a cult and the pressure was so hard I just had to run away.
I am sorry but I don't think the deacons or pastor search committee had the right to give so much power to anyone. We all need to be accountable to someone. He better not try to hire more people we have several people on staff now who we need to say bye to. All the staff we have seem to be scared to talk one way or another.
If someone would have told me 15 years ago when I joined Trinity that things would be so bad I would have laughed. We have had so much happen in the last 6 years but it has never been this bad. There is a spirit here it is not a good spirit either. We all need to fall on our faces and beg God to help. I remember when we had so many youth that they had to use the gym because there was no other room big enough. There was about 500 adults in Wednesday night service and 700 on Sunday night. We had 4 times the children in school aged and Mrs. Joy did an AWSOME job with several VOLENTEERS! We had babies and preschoolers busting out the rooms with none empty Two Sunday Schools and Renee and Angie S. did it all with VOLENTEERS. We have about a third of the children and preschoolers with about 8+ people on payroll. VBS was done by the directors and not with people paid to organize it (poorly). The choir was GREAT! Yes we have had issues there through the years but none like now. We had HUGE musicals where many people were saved and thousands came to watch. The senior adults were leaders. God tells us to learn from them not push them out and abuse them. I don't know about the people who have only been at TBC for the past few years but TBC's best days were behind us and if we don't stand up soon that will be all she wrote for us. According to a deacon I talked to Chad is worried and down because things are not going his way. Maybe it is because we want GOD'S way NOT Chad's way. Those of us who know the Bible know that things are wrong and we know what Chad preaches is wrong in application. He is betting on the weak minded ones to carry him. The ones who don't question him but just comply. I Will Not! STAND UP! Before it is too late.
Everytime I read this blog I am reminded of the horrible days I've lived through with Chad as my pastor, the people he persecuted, the fellowship he lied to and divided. The pain and confusion were almost unbearable. However, I am so happy to share that there is life after Chad. God can heal the hurts and restore the joy. People don't wait, it's just not worth it. You won't change Chad. Do what is necessary to find a loving, supportive church family. Then get on with the work God has planned for you to do.
And to think that the Pastor Search Committee and Deacons knew all about him and did nothing to stop him from coming here. They bought his LIES and were fooled into allowing us to go through more than what we had already gone through. I just can't believe that they just sat back and did not even call one of the people from his other church. They could have e-mailed the owner of this blog site and just ASK. No they just took the word of a LIAR. It was their job to check I blame them.
Over the past couple of months people have been holding tithe from Trinity giving it to other Godly causes,Well it has been brought to my attention that another former Staff member from Trinity is Going on a mission Trip to Africa. This man Is A Godfearing Pastor and is a man after Christ Heart. Brother Chuck Kitchens has not only Talked the talk, but he has also walked the walked. Him and His Family are going to Africa on a mission Trip and can use your Prayers and could also use a little Financial Help with the cost. At least Then We would Know Where it was going and what it was Going for. Contact Labelle Haven baptist Church if interested. Now as far as Chad's Debt Retirement, It seems as people are starting to be singled out for Not giving . His next step is more that likely going to remove peoples membership from Trinity for not supporting it. I think it would be wise for us to give to it. You would be showing your support toward Trinity not toward Chad. So a Dollar a year for the Next 3 years for the Retirement of this Debt. It is a thought. Chad is throwing out memberships for the reasons he deems right. People who he claims have completed the new members class have been written off. Some of these people were told by Brian W. that they were fine and some have even taught Sunday School. Now they were alright to teach when needed but if they have said anything aginist Chad or his menions then out they go. If they have not in Chad's eyes given all they should have out they go. What ever happened to your tithe is between you and God and he will be the one who blesses you not Chad. Folks he is NOT God. He seems to think he is and so many are just following him. There are even people who want to make sure that is O.K. with Chad before they take medicine. This is a CULT not Southern Baptist. He is Crazy and if he wants to remove me from the rolls then he better check out the by-laws I was voted in and should remain until I move my letter. I agree with Former Staff Member whoever they are we should send our money to a Godly person for missions to lead people to Christ and Not Chad. There are so many churches that could use the money and will use it to further God's kingdon and not " Chadville". I will not give him even one dollar just like I don't send it to Joel either.
Boy I bet that the people at Chad's other churches think we are a bunch of weak minded HICKS. All I know is I have heard the "confused" used by so many at church these days. Well Who Is The Author Of Confusion???? Satan, so enough said. We think that it was God's will for him to be here because a group of people said so and we got to hear him 1 Sunday and decide. Well He did not preach on that Sunday like he does now if he did this would not be happening because he would not be here. Satan can blind eyes and help put who he wants in so that the church will fall. I think he did. There are NO fruits from his ministry and so far it has been full of LIES and BULLYING. This is NOT God's way it is Chads way. He has lied so much I would not believe him if he said the sun was hot.
There are still people talking and I talked to someone the other day that I would have never thought would say something against him, but he did.
Stop the money and stop attending the service. The deacons will have to step in when you do. He will be then and only then be limited in his control. The pastor search committee and personnel committee as well as the deacons gave him free run over everything. They did not tell us this when he was brought in in view of a call. That its self shows that it was underhanded.
We better watch out because the people in Florida found out after he left that he had changed the bylaws to suit him. He took out loans and left the church in ruins. We will be next. Jim B. and John C. you are some of the most successful businessmen at Trinity and you would have been out of business a long time ago if you ran your companies like you have sat back and allowed Chad to do to us. When a member asked Chad Everson if it was true that he had called in the choir officers and spent the meeting blasting them he answered.... No I have NOT met with any of them. Well that is a BIG LIE! He did! Just ask any of them who were in there. Ask the ones who left the church over his comments that were false. He blamed the people in that meeting for ALL the problems at Trinity. They were told that they had run off all the music directors (lie) and pastors (lie). Some of those people had only been at TBC a short time but it was still their fault. When he was asked who said these things about them he told them "I have heard a rummor". A RUMMOR! Chad is a Trsah Can. He admitting listening to gossip so he is a trash can. He lies and knows he is doing it. If the deacons care to call the members of the choir officers and ask they would find out. They won't ask because if they do they will know the truth and then they will have to do something or just cover it up. Too many people know the truth about him. He has run off many people from TBC. People still leave after Sunday School. They love their classes but can not stand the service. That has come from young couples at TBC too. You better wise up QUICK it is almost too late.

I hurt for the TBC members and what is happening to the Church. It is a shame that men who hold leadership positions and have influence within the church will sit back and let one man come in and destroy the Church. He has hurt people and told untruths to get his way. After six years we left and very happy now to be gone. It feels good to be in a church again where you can feel the Holy Spirit. If you are still attending TBC and do not feel that you are being spiritually fed; I urge you to leave and find a new church Home where you can and will hear the Love of God being taught and lived by the members. Shame on the men & women at TBC who hold leadership and staff positions and ignore what is happening at Trinity Baptist. God will hold you accountable for what is happening in his house. Don't forget it is God's house not yours or Chads. You have teachers to teach Peace Makers but fail to practice within your own walls. There is a reason members are leaving one family after another. Look around you and count the missing people. How can you worship and just pretend not to know. I pray for you. what is going on.

Does this mean Chad is Looking for a new job??????? I hope so but since he just bought a house I guess we can't be that lucky. But I guess he could sell himself enough that another church would pay for his house in Florida and in Olive Branch.

Also Thanks to the BRAVE MEN who stood up for the fact that no money was being paid on the principal of the loan for the building. Now Chad has started a campain to pay off the debt. WOW! I know for a fact many of these men now in the ministry, especially the Baptist ministry bunch, were former athletes in either the higher level schools with sports as the only way to make a name for themselves, stars of High School Sports teams, and / or Collegiate Football, Baseball. and or Basketball wannabe players.
They did not make it to that higher pay level, so what have they done? Turned to the next best thing with a crowd - Ministry!
Many have used the ministry to get themselves to the level that they could not achieve as a Sports Star or Icon, so now they use the Ministry, and in that ministry they can now feel "wanted" and "special" by using GOD, the Bible, guilt, and intimidation and to get their Earthly Rewards - just as they wanted when they played sports trying to get that attention, wealth, and "the lifestyle."
They scratch each others backs and continuously encourage the masses to " wrap and accept " themselves to whatever they and/or their buddies garbage spew out from their mouths while using the PULPITS of the church to lift themselves and their back scratching and Baptist Mafia buddies up.
This is not saying all MINISTERS do this as there are many many small church pastors who do deserve that "STANDING OVATION!"

Folks we better listen to Doug and the others who have lived through all of Chads past treatment of former "Friends" and "Members". Chad will do this and has here at Trinity. He has not changed. He has done it before and he WILL do it here.
The only reason he is begging for more money is because the right person in the church discovered that they have NOT paid anything but intrest on the building and had the church in breach of contract for the loan. He cares nothing for us just in his getting his own way. He will move on and his "friends" will locate him another victim and we will be here just wondering how this happened. We must wake up and act. Watch Him!
If he is so concerned about the church and it's finances, why has he not taken a cut in his salary? One of the former pastors actually did that, unknown to anyone, when the church was having some financial struggles. If Chad is dishonest in one area (and he is), he is certainly going to be dishonest with the church's money. I am just not sure what it is going to take to wake up the leaders of the church.
I am someone who was a member of Trinity since the church opened here in Southaven and he was so hateful to me when I ask him about one of his messages. I asked him about the message on the prodicals son and he went off. He and his friends(some of which were my friends before this happened) made it so that my family left. What he said was a LIE. I am better off for leaving. He is crazy.
I will Praise the day he leaves Trinity Baptist Church of Southaven.Then we may see a light at the end of the tunnel.May God be with us and save us from another tragedy.
I wish I knew why our book keeper left. She loved her job and the church. I have not seen her back. She knows something and I wish the deacons would find out!

I can't believe what I just read. Chad actually wants us to NOT take a vacation and give the money to the church. This would be great if NOT from a man who just took his wife on a cruise(or the Mayo clinic). He also wants us to NOT purchase a new home or car. He just bought a new house. Give a raise or bonus to the church well he got a raise and where is his donation? As a matter of fact he should have NOT given himself a raise with giving down and people leaving. He wants the members to think all is well but so many people are still leaving. Most of the people I have talked to like Brad W. and Jeff S. but do not like Chad or Jon. They have turned him off and they do not like the music at all. The best sugestion he gave was to get a second job and give all the money to the church. WHAT? Chad takes his time off from work and the members should not? There are people in the church who don't have a job and he wants people to get a second job????? There was a time that I would have done anything to help but until someone takes control of spending and keeps track of things we cannot trust giving like that. Chad CHOSE NOT to pay the not like it was susposed to be paid and that is the Finance Committees fault and now we have to fix it.
Chad needs to take a pay cut and NO MORE EMPLOYEES!!
This is sad and Chad MUST lead by example and walk the walk and not just talk the talk. Chad you make more than most of the members at TBC and you take a pay cut and then we will see how much you love us. I am not talking about a little pay cut I mean a sacrifice. That is what you are asking of us.
LEAD BY EXAMPLE!! I think it odd that he took his wife on a wonderful cruise and vacation. His kids play sports. He goes out to dinner. Bought a new home in Olive Branch, painted and redecorated it. I have not been at Trinity for several months. Last week I had some friends come and visit me. These are people I have known for years. After I told them why I would not be back at Trinity they informed me that I need to take a look at my own heart and if I don't like Chad then I MUST BE LOST! This is crazy! No where in the Bible does it say that I must love CHAD or be lost. The people there are falling into this garbage and it is wrong. People need to pray if the Lord leads you to not have a vacation or sell something to give to the church then you should obey. If Chad tells you to then that is just a man with some cash to raise.My friends expressed a fear for my salvation and I explained that there was no need to because I settled it with Jesus not Chad.
Wake Up! This is a CULT and not church. I am so glad I left and I will not go back even if he leaves because I can't trust the leadership that put him in power and allows it to over run the church. My God! You people at Trinity amaze me. He is a pastor, just a man, not a god. You "hired" him...I don't care if you termed it a "call" and believed the Holy Spirit was leading...you still "hired" him. FIRE HIM! You can do it by one of two methods: (1) use the constitution and by-laws to call a business meeting and in that gathering, fire him. (2) Withhold your offerings for as long as it takes. When a man such as Chad isn't paid for a while, he'll start feeling pressure when "honey" can't go shopping, or to the spa, or take those trips she is so fond of. Miraculously, he will "feel the Lord calling" him to another church (Isn't it just wonderful, how the Lord works?). Indirectly, you will have fired him. He will just move on and destroy another unsuspecting congregation, but he will no longer be your problem. So, stop sitting on your hands, complaining, just fire him.
I know how harsh Jim's comments were but they are true. HOLD THE TITHE UNTIL HE LEAVES. He will! He has his protection squad and they will stop any business meeting so stop the money. It has worked before and will agian.
I also do not understand why he has decided to take people off the roll. If we voted them in like his job we should have to vote them out. Going into classrooms and starting trouble by firing teachers is wrong. He finds people he does not like and finds any loop hole to get rid of them. Why is it that we used to have free concerts for the members and to bring in others. Now we have concerts and the church charges $15.00 per person. Yes this is a small amount to pay in today's concert prices, but I would like to know what the proceeds will go for. We can't do free concerts anymore but can sure hire more staff members. Maybe people need to stay home that concert is a luxery so we are not susposed to spend money on such things. Trinity needs to save BIG BUCKS FIRE CHAD AND JEFF!!!! Send them packing and put their pay towards the debt they helped create.

That should be the motto of all of us Trinity Members who are not happy with Chad and his "GOON SQUAD". Things will not change and it is not up to us to do so. Lets see what has been proven so far:
1. He has ruined 2 churches.
2. He lied about his education.
3. He has run off several hundred church members.
4. Hired a music min. with NO experience and paid him well.
5. Has had many meetings with choir officers and others with threats and has run most of them off.
6. Lied about his dealings with a now convicted sex offender.
7. Fired more Sunday School teachers than we have ever lost in TBC history.
We have lost more members in the past year with very little gain. The churches he came from were in shambles when he left and he has no minsteries that ever showed fruit.
You will see him and his evil wife and friends the Summers will do the same to us but not me anymore. Me and my money will go elsewhere.
So do what is right LEAVE and allow the rest to fall and know they were wrong.

I have not left as much as Chad told me I had to. Yes I had all the e-mails that he and Michele told me that I had to go before the church for dicipline because I told people that this web site was out here to read. They tried everything to bully me into showing who I was so that I could be made an example. He told me that he would have me exposed and it would only cost $99.00. He lied. I sent out the e-mails at my cost. I mailed them to most of the new and active deacons. I even sent them to the personel committee. I have even more hateful e-mails sent to me. The men that should have stood up and told Bro. Chad that we have never had a pastor treat members this way and that he should not either well NOTHING they just allowed him to continue to bully. Mrs. Becky is a prime example of what they have done. Chad has called her in so many times to make her do what HE DEMANDS that she should have her own parking spot. He has still not had any luck. He wants the older people to leave the church see they know the Bible and know right from wrong. They see through him and the younger people just trust what he says and do not know what the Bible says. The elders are a threat to his empire. I just heard another REAL PASTOR say this past week when someone preaches with an agenda that is something other than God's words they are false prophets. See Chad preaches with his own agenda. He wants more MONEY he is no different that the PTO club. Stop talking about him and his workers.....ect. He tells us that we have to be saved by Chads way not God's way. I also heard very sound advice "If you can't trust your leadership you should leave." There are Great Bible believing churches in Southaven and we all need to attend them. Leave Chad and his menions to their own demise. We are only hurting ourselves and our families by staying and also it looks to him and others that we all LOVE him. Show him the truth go to your Sunday School class (unless he fires your teacher too) THEN GO TO ANOTHER CHURCH AND WORSHIP FOR REAL!!
Bob and Johnny have no pull anymore they are Older and Chad thinks they have no wisdom and like all the other seniors can't make a wise decision. I would like to know how he plans to decide who has not been at church and who needs to be removed from the rolls. I saw someone the other day that I have seen at church in months. She said they have been there just not in Sunday School. So how would they choose by her tithe well she could put cash in the plate. Maybe we should have to check in like they do in the nursery. We could check fingerprints or scan eyes I don't know how to stay on the roll if Chad "Prefernce" is for you to be removed. Sad, This Is America.
I just read on the Trinity website that 64 families gave $500,000.00. Well in Sunday School we were told that about $250,000.00 in money and items were given and that depended on price upon sale. A short time later in Church (about 30min.) the price doubled to $500,000.00. He can say all her wants this past Sunday people left after Sunday School and only about 300 people turned in their cards. He is a LIAR and we can not trust him. He claims that church is better than it has been on 5 years. Well I don't think so! I do not believe him. He will distroy us.
I talked to a young lady two weeks ago who was so depressed. She had talked to Bro. Chad about salvation and then he had her confrence with Michele. This lady knew she was a Christian but after talking with them does not know what to believe anymore. She told me about how came to the Lord many years ago. She had a daily quiet time and prayer life but from what these two people told her she now is depressed and confused. She questions God. This is wrong God tells us how to come to him. It is a simple prayer and a changed heart. Not Chads way. You do not have to attend his 4 weeks of classes to become a Christian. We have to come to Christ with a "Childlike" Faith. Now answer this question.......

Stand firm Trinity Members a pastor loves his members and does what is right. It is time for Chad to learn how to treat the people who voted for him and looked forward to his comming only to be slapped down. Chad you need to pray and change your heart before it is too late. It is not there are good people who still want this to be right but it is up to you now!

Chad is getting reday to hire his new Asst. Pastor. He will do this no matter what anyone says. He was given the right to hire and fire at his descrssion. He can do this and has said that he only brings for a vote because it is the "Baptist" way. He will do this and all while he is begging for more money to pay the bills that can't be paid now. Stand Firm and a REAL man of God will not come if he does not receive most of the votes but that does not apply anymore at Trinity. Remember Chad did. He do not need more staff members we need several less.
I was glad to see many people at church yesterday but sad too. This was one of the lowest attendances I can remember. We had some first time people visit but Chad in his rudeness probally made it their last visit. He made it a very unhappy Easter. Jesus Rose from the grave and we should have heard all about the GOOD NEWS of JESUS. All the people got was YELLED AT! Chad you are a JOKE!
I don't know if all this blogging is right but after reading all this and knowing how I feel about Bro. Chad I feel better I thought it was just me. I was afraid that maybe I was the one who had a heart problem. Now I know it is not me. I just heard about this yesterday at church and have spent many hours just heartbroken over TBC. All I know is I have been in the Baptist church all my life. I have seen preachers come and go and I have never seen one with this much baggage from other churches that he has been at. I don't know how to get him out but I am really surprised with Jim B. and John C. and Lee P. and all the other successful businessmen that are deacons would sit by and do nothing. I am at such a loss at the number of people who have posted and still he is here.
I thought that just like spring starts new I would too. I went to Longview yesterday and I loved it. I had forgotten how wonderful church was. I will be back there. It felt funny walking in but everyone was friendly not like Trinity where people are so scared that they will not even say hello.
I started feeling like I was an outsider in a cult and the pressure was so hard I just had to run away.
I am sorry but I don't think the deacons or pastor search committee had the right to give so much power to anyone. We all need to be accountable to someone. He better not try to hire more people we have several people on staff now who we need to say bye to. All the staff we have seem to be scared to talk one way or another.
If someone would have told me 15 years ago when I joined Trinity that things would be so bad I would have laughed. We have had so much happen in the last 6 years but it has never been this bad. There is a spirit here it is not a good spirit either. We all need to fall on our faces and beg God to help. I remember when we had so many youth that they had to use the gym because there was no other room big enough. There was about 500 adults in Wednesday night service and 700 on Sunday night. We had 4 times the children in school aged and Mrs. Joy did an AWSOME job with several VOLENTEERS! We had babies and preschoolers busting out the rooms with none empty Two Sunday Schools and Renee and Angie S. did it all with VOLENTEERS. We have about a third of the children and preschoolers with about 8+ people on payroll. VBS was done by the directors and not with people paid to organize it (poorly). The choir was GREAT! Yes we have had issues there through the years but none like now. We had HUGE musicals where many people were saved and thousands came to watch. The senior adults were leaders. God tells us to learn from them not push them out and abuse them.
I don't know about the people who have only been at TBC for the past few years but TBC's best days were behind us and if we don't stand up soon that will be all she wrote for us.
According to a deacon I talked to Chad is worried and down because things are not going his way. Maybe it is because we want GOD'S way NOT Chad's way. Those of us who know the Bible know that things are wrong and we know what Chad preaches is wrong in application. He is betting on the weak minded ones to carry him. The ones who don't question him but just comply. I Will Not! STAND UP! Before it is too late.
Everytime I read this blog I am reminded of the horrible days I've lived through with Chad as my pastor, the people he persecuted, the fellowship he lied to and divided. The pain and confusion were almost unbearable. However, I am so happy to share that there is life after Chad. God can heal the hurts and restore the joy. People don't wait, it's just not worth it. You won't change Chad. Do what is necessary to find a loving, supportive church family. Then get on with the work God has planned for you to do.
Lynn is RIGHT! We need to let TBC have him and all the trouble.
And to think that the Pastor Search Committee and Deacons knew all about him and did nothing to stop him from coming here. They bought his LIES and were fooled into allowing us to go through more than what we had already gone through. I just can't believe that they just sat back and did not even call one of the people from his other church. They could have e-mailed the owner of this blog site and just ASK. No they just took the word of a LIAR. It was their job to check I blame them.
Over the past couple of months people have been holding tithe from Trinity giving it to other Godly causes,Well it has been brought to my attention that another former Staff member from Trinity is Going on a mission Trip to Africa. This man Is A Godfearing Pastor and is a man after Christ Heart. Brother Chuck Kitchens has not only Talked the talk, but he has also walked the walked. Him and His Family are going to Africa on a mission Trip and can use your Prayers and could also use a little Financial Help with the cost. Now as far as Chad's Debt Retirement, It seems as people are starting to be singled out for Not giving . His next step is more that likely going to remove peoples membership from Trinity for not supporting it. I think it would be wise for us to give to it. You would be showing your support toward Trinity not toward Chad. So a Dollar a year for the Next 3 years for the Retirement of this Debt. It is a thought.

Chad is throwing out memberships for the reasons he deems right. People who he claims have completed the new members class have been written off. Some of these people were told by Brian W. that they were fine and some have even taught Sunday School. Now they were alright to teach when needed but if they have said anything aginist Chad or his menions then out they go. If they have not in Chad's eyes given all they should have out they go. What ever happened to your tithe is between you and God and he will be the one who blesses you not Chad. Folks he is NOT God. He seems to think he is and so many are just following him. There are even people who want to make sure that is O.K. with Chad before they take medicine. This is a CULT not Southern Baptist. He is Crazy and if he wants to remove me from the rolls then he better check out the by-laws I was voted in and should remain until I move my letter. I agree with Former Staff Member whoever they are we should send our money to a Godly person for missions to lead people to Christ and Not Chad. There are so many churches that could use the money and will use it to further God's kingdon and not " Chadville". I will not give him even one dollar just like I don't send it to Joel either.
Boy I bet that the people at Chad's other churches think we are a bunch of weak minded HICKS. We know what needs to be done but our hands are tied by his groupies that he has convinced he is always right. Beware Chad I know most of your "Fair Weather Friends" most have turned on other pastors at Trinity. Most are reading and posting here but are too afaid to speak out for fear of your abuse. You can't rule forever on fear and confusion. I have left and don't want to move my letter because I know you will soon be gone. WOW Chad maybe there is more that you have done. I hope not enough is enough. I know people think no one is talking but there are still so many looking for another church. I don't know what has to happen to open eyes.
All I know is I have heard the "confused" used by so many at church these days. Well Who Is The Author Of Confusion???? Satan, so enough said. We think that it was God's will for him to be here because a group of people said so and we got to hear him 1 Sunday and decide. Well He did not preach on that Sunday like he does now if he did this would not be happening because he would not be here. Satan can blind eyes and help put who he wants in so that the church will fall. I think he did. There are NO fruits from his ministry and so far it has been full of LIES and BULLYING. This is NOT God's way it is Chads way. He has lied so much I would not believe him if he said the sun was hot.
There are still people talking and I talked to someone the other day that I would have never thought would say something against him, but he did.
Stop the money and stop attending the service. The deacons will have to step in when you do. He will be then and only then be limited in his control. The pastor search committee and personnel committee as well as the deacons gave him free run over everything. They did not tell us this when he was brought in in view of a call. That its self shows that it was underhanded.
We better watch out because the people in Florida found out after he left that he had changed the bylaws to suit him. He took out loans and left the church in ruins. We will be next. Jim B. and John C. you are some of the most successful businessmen at Trinity and you would have been out of business a long time ago if you ran your companies like you have sat back and allowed Chad to do to us. Stop him before it is too late unless you don't care. Jim I know your wife was one of the people who brought him here on the PSC so make up for her failure and help save Trinity NOW!
When a member asked Chad Everson if it was true that he had called in the choir officers and spent the meeting blasting them he answered.... No I have NOT met with any of them. Well that is a BIG LIE! He did! Just ask any of them who were in there. Ask the ones who left the church over his comments that were false. He blamed the people in that meeting for ALL the problems at Trinity. They were told that they had run off all the music directors (lie) and pastors (lie). Some of those people had only been at TBC a short time but it was still their fault. When he was asked who said these things about them he told them "I have heard a rummor". A RUMMOR! Chad is a Trsah Can. He admitting listening to gossip so he is a trash can. He lies and knows he is doing it. If the deacons care to call the members of the choir officers and ask they would find out. They won't ask because if they do they will know the truth and then they will have to do something or just cover it up. Too many people know the truth about him. He has run off many people from TBC. People still leave after Sunday School. They love their classes but can not stand the service. That has come from young couples at TBC too. You better wise up QUICK it is almost too late.
I don't think they care. They will only care when the bottom falls out. Then they will all be the first to say how bad he is. They do not care who is hurt, who leaves, they just don't care.

When they told close confidants he blasted them. When the police finally began investigating he never spoke another word to the parents. Passed them daily and never spoke.

I am afraid the same thing may be happening here; however it is not with a child, but in my opinion, it looks like it might be with him and someone else.
Dose this mean that Mr. Chad is looking for a new Church ? Maybe he should start his own, He could name it the " Church of Chad ".
I just pray he moves on before he destroys Trinity Baptist. Maybe he will felt led to ask some of the Old Staff employees to leave with him and his gang. Wake up Deacons and leaders, This many people can't be wrong at Trinity.
I hurt for the TBC members and what is happening to the Church. It is a shame that men who hold leadership positions and have influence within the church will sit back and let one man come in and destroy the Church. He has hurt people and told untruths to get his way. After six years we left and very happy now to be gone. It feels good to be in a church again where you can feel the Holy Spirit.
If you are still attending TBC and do not feel that you are being spiritually fed; I urge you to leave and find a new church Home where you can and will hear the Love of God being taught and lived by the members. Shame on the men & women at TBC who hold leadership and staff positions and ignore what is happening at Trinity Baptist. God will hold you accountable for what is happening in his house. Don't forget it is God's house not yours or Chads.
You have teachers to teach Peace Makers but fail to practice within your own walls. There is a reason members are leaving one family after another. Look around you and count the missing people. How can you worship and just pretend not to know. I pray for you.

There are many at TBC that came from CHBC and did not like what was happening there and now were on the committee who brought a Bro. Steve wanna be here to distroy TBC. You will answer for all. YELL! YELL! YELL! That is all I heard Sunday. He is mad because all the smart people are leaving and what does he do? Yells at all us DUMMIES who are still here! He needs to look in the mirror or at his wife and they can YELL at each other. It is all their fault and he or the deacons can't blame us or the people who have left.
I agree, got tired of the yelling and all sermons told us we are all going to HELL from the pew.
